Description

Resting in the tranquil and chocolate-box village of Langton Matravers, lies Sea Pink Cottage, a beautiful and newly refurbished Purbeck Stone cottage, just two miles from the seaside town of Swanage.

This inviting retreat is a perfect choice for couples looking to escape normal life and explore the magnificent Jurassic coast.

Be welcomed into the open-plan living space where you can settle down in the warmth of the electric fire and get lost in an enthralling novel, or tune into the TV and catch up on your favourite shows.

Take a perch at the breakfast bar in the kitchen area and plan your holiday itinerary before whipping up a delicious home cooked meal using all the usual conveniences of an electric oven, gas hob and microwave.

When the day draws to a close, retire to the beautiful bedroom, housing a sumptuous king-size bed, complete with quality linens and a plush duvet that is waiting to be curled up in after an action-packed day.

Venturing out from the property, you are just a few minutes from the popular “Kings Arms” public house, serving home cooked meals and local ales, as well as the village shop where you can pick up your daily essentials such as bread, milks and eggs.

Walkers can embark on adventures from the door, particularly along the Priests Way, which leads you along an ancient track passing between quarries and across fields, with glorious views of the countryside.

Swanage can be reached in just over 2 miles and is home to a long stretch of golden sand resting in a sheltered bay, perfect for taking a dip in its clear, shallow waters.

This blue flag beach has a stunning sweeping coastline with many attractions and the town is home to the prized vintage steam railway where you can experience a unique journey through six miles of beautiful scenery passing the magnificent ruins of Corfe Castle.

Sea Pink Cottage will make a fabulous home-away-from-home.

This is our second stay at sea pink cottage.

Once again loved it. It is so perfectly suitable for our needs. Single storey apart from two steps which suits our aging dog and has everything you need. Beautiful kept and ideal for either long or short stays. Only criticism I have is the sofa is rather uncomfortable. Building work is still ongoing behind but that caused no dramas. Thanks for letting us stay in your property Michael. Neil & Mel

We had a relaxing, comfortable stay at Sea Pink Cottage.

The cottage was well equipped, clean and cosy. The village is the perfect location for walks; a footpath sign at every corner leading to the most beautiful scenery Dorset has to offer. Thank you for helping us to achieve a long weekend's reset and relax. We'd love to come back again. Kate, Tom and Teddy the Cockapoo
