We were really disappointed and felt ripped off.

While attractive, the property is tired, it desperately needs: 1 New furniture and maintenance - The shower drains poorly and leaks both off the tray and through the glass seal. Suggest fitting a horizontal fixed head, clearing drains thoroughly and replacing sealant - alternatively providing more towels to constantly mop up water - The bedroom cupboards are falling apart, they need replacing - All the bed mattresses are badly sagged, clearly well over ten years old. By night three I was trying the sofa (which was just as worn) and ultimately had to sleep on the floor. Hardly worth the £1250 I paid! 2 A thorough clean outside is needed, both the entrance and the balcony are really grubby 3 A peace pact with the neighbours so they cut their trees - there are no commanding views as the neighbours trees screen the balcony and the window facing the sea has a laurel hedge right up against it Charmouth and the surrounds are lovely.

The house is in a great location, the first impressions were great.

Open and spacious living area and good sized rooms. Plenty of crockery and glasses. However, we did notice that the property is in need of some maintenance. Outside balcony was dirty and needed a thorough clean also trees blocking view, need a trim. The bathroom cabinets are peeling and the panels near the toilet are loose in the ensuite. The main bathroom needs seals replacing and the water drains very slowly. Drawers are old and peeling in main bedroom. It is important to note there is no garden area and that the balcony is not large enough for a table. It does state on the description about the narrow driveway, however it is very tricky to negotiate even with a VW Golf and a mini, with mm to spare. There is a step at the entrance of the drive which protrudes, so careful negotiation is needed.

The home was absolutely perfect in terms of location.

The communal spaces were bright and airy. We absolutely loved it. A welcome pack was a nice touch too we all had a great time. However the reason for the score not being higher was due to the fact that our request for the bedding arrangements wasn't met and I had to contact the property managers. They did correct the issue promptly and were very apologetic though. This hasn't put us off booking it again as the issue was resolved. I do think that I would not stay here again though because the quality of the mattresses was really bad. I have had a neck injury in recent years and the mattess I slept on made me concerned I was going to aggravate the injury. Even my friends had issues with their beds. There was a dip in the middle and you could feel the springs. They felt very cheap unfortunately. The bath drain blocked up too, but we managed to resolve that. Not sure if there is long standing drain issue or not. This wasn't enough to put us off coming back. It is just such a shame the beds let the property down. If these were sorted then we would absolutely come back again.
