The Cabin

The cabin is wonderful place to stay.

The location is perfect, just 1 mile from the main town, set on a hill with beautiful views out to the hills and the bay. The cabin is well equipped with everything you need for a short or longer stay. The hosts are on hand if you need help or advice, but give you the space to enjoy your holiday too. This was our second stay at the cabin, and I’m sure it will not be the last.

The cabin was an excellent location to explore Swanage, South Dorset or just chill out on one of the local beaches.

The cabin is a perfect place to holiday for a couple or a single person wanting a break to recharge the batteries.

A well-designed and furnished holiday home.

Everything we needed. Private and peaceful despite proximity to the caravan park. Even had a deer go through the garden area once. Wouldn't hesitate to go again.

It took me a couple of attempts to find the place.

I felt uncomfortable driving down a private drive without written permission. The cabin was very well laid out and had everything you could need for a rainy day or a sunny day, apart from two things: a pint of milk and a bag of sugar.

No need to use the car, you could find several walks to do from the cabin, out to the coast or across the fields to Corfe.

The Cabin is a beautiful property, immaculately maintained with all facilities needed for a comfortable break.

Clean,comfortable and very well equipped. If your younger and fitter than us you wouldn't need to use your car at all because the cabin is so well situated.Many places to enjoy nearby.

We had a lovely week at The Cabin, relaxing and everything we needed was provided it was also very clean and comfortable.

We went out exploring every day and found beautiful places to go. The Blue Pool was stunning so was Corfe Castle. Poole harbour and Sandbanks dreaming of owning a property there!! Studland Trekking Centre was brilliant, make sure you ask for Clyde 17 hand clydesdale! A couple of minor points: the tea mugs were so heavy even before putting tea in lol. Also, somewhere in the info it says there is an onsite shop at the caravan park next door, but it hasn't been there for a year. Slightly disappointing as it would have come in handy. Overall we had a lovely stay, thankyou.

We loved the Cabin, everything we needed was there.

We were a bit apprehensive about the noise, being so close to a holiday park, but it was like it was not there at all. Nice seating area outside for a barbecue in the evening. A great retreat from our the busy world we live in. The owner was on hand to help with any needs, and advice of places to eat etc.

Small well kept garden with table and two chairs. Patio doors that looked over garden. Quiet ,peaceful area. Owners very friendly and helpful. Good location, short drive to Swanage beach and Steam train.

We had a lovely stay at the Cabin.

It was beautifully clean when we arrived and there was plenty of room for our belongings. It was a perfect place for 2 people.

A lovely clean and comfortable cabin, in an area with lots to do.

Great base for all the joys that Purbeck and the Jurassic coast has to offer.

Lovely walks directly from the property, along the coast, over to Corfe or along the priests way to the fantastic Square and Compass. The centre of Swanage is just 1km or so away, and an easy walk if you follow the public footpaths below the holiday park. The cabin is a proper home from home, lovely and relaxed and so very quiet. Watch out for lovely sunsets and beautiful starry night skies.

I had a lovely cozy and peacefull stay at The Cabin its bright modern and comfortable.

Good cliff walks on the doorstep. I was worried it would be cold and damp in January but I was very warm and cozy lots of piping hot water and good cooking facilities. The iwners were there if I needed them but left me to relax.

Fantastic little place with all the amenities needed for a stay.

Cosy, clean and private with some stunning views from the windows. We enjoyed every minute we stayed here. Would recommend to anyone wanting a break away and we would definitely look at staying here again in the future. Thanks for making it very welcoming.

Cosy, clean, contemporary and well designed, lovely decor.

Quiet and relaxing and perfected equipped for self catering. Great position to enjoy the many attractions in this beautiful area. Loved swimming in the sea at Swanage and the beautiful coastal walks. Bed comfy and linen bedding great. A more powerful shower would have pushed our rating to 5 star.

It felt very cozy and like a proper escape, whilst also having shops, pubs and great scenery within walking distance. It was smart and clean, and all the instructions and extra touches by the property owner were greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for an easy, peaceful and relaxing getaway.

As already discussed with the property owner, the water pressure is a major problem, that they are trying to address.

The position of the small sink in the bathroom makes it impossible to shave, and also makes it difficult to clean your teeth. Although well built the cabin is small, and the lack of any wardrobe space is off putting. Steven and Jane were very welcoming.

Well presented, comfy cabin in a great location for exploring the Dorset coast.

Some days during our stay were stormy, but there was still plenty to do. The cabin had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. The only (minor) issue was the accessibility of the bathroom sink under the cabinet.

This cabin was so comfy and clean, also had everything you need - fridge and microwave very handy.

A 20 minute walk into town which was so prettt and lots of bars and shops etc. Slight issue but did not ruin our stay was the shower was not very powerful as could only get the right temperature on eco mode. Also the bathroom cabinet position made it difficult to clean your teeth or shave whilst holding your head over the sink, would suggest just a mirror to avoid making a mess around the sink area. Also sea view was quite a way .. but you could see it through the distance. I would still recommend.
