The apartment is very well appointed, and is on a bus route with stops nearby. Thoroughly recommend the accommodation.

Seaward House exceeded our expectations, super comfy, homely, everything you needed was there and only a 10 minute walk to the beach.

Have been staying in Lyme for years, but second time at Seaward, and I’m sure we’ll be back next year.

Lovely characterful apartment, with a bright, modern, airy finish, plus with added parking, all things you just don’t get when staying right on the sea front. The stylish and eclectic decor always brings a smile to my face and adds a home from home touch which is great for when you just want to have some down time in the apartment. Great base for visiting Lyme and exploring the surrounding coast.

It was a lovely apartment however didnt like that you had to go down a steep side road to get to the outside garden wasn't suitable for my 91 year old mother also being on a main road couldnt have the windows open they were all big windows no small windows to open, we only had to small fans in this heat no where near enough it was very uncomfortable, no curtains or blinds at the front to keep ghe sun out

We had a wonderful four days in Seaward, spotless, beautifully furnished and, amazingly, everything worked perfectly.

As a cook, I found the kitchen super for a holiday cottage, well equipped and very up to date. The info pack and super selection of books were a real bonus.Concerned at first about potential traffic noise, it wasn't a problem, good double glazing helped, and the night time was silent. The little secluded garden was out of commission, it would have been useful to sit out in such hot weather, but a minor issue as there was so much to do in the area. In all a great stay in a beautiful location and a fab base for a holiday.

We have stayed in Lyme Regis a few times so we knew the location of this property was at the top of a steep hill.

We didnt mind this at all, we picked it mainly as it looked very attractive, had its own parking space and accepted dogs. The apartment was lovely, really light and spacious, very clean, well equipped, beautifully decorated with a good use of mirrors . It was the perfect location for going out of the door and straight down a quiet lane to get down to the River Lim footpath, an excellent dog walk. The only downside was the door opened straight onto a main road so dogs had to be on a lead before leaving the property.

We have just returned from a few days at Seaward.

The property was easy to find and the check in process was simple. Large parking space, clearly marked. The apartment was fantastic. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, good showers and a well-equipped kitchen. It’s a great location - just a short walk to the centre and beach. It is at the top of a rather steep hill but we did not find that an issue at all. The garden is separate and you have to walk around the back but it’s a lovely added bonus to be able to sit outside in a small courtyard area. Totally recommended, we could not fault the place.

I probably didn't read the listing correctly and didn't realise that the garden area was so separate from the propert. If travelling with children, this is worth double checking.

My family loved Seaward.

It was perfect for our needs and a short walk from town and the beach. The accommodation was easily accessible, comfortable, clean, and furnished to an extremely high standard. We loved all the little touches, and you could tell that the owners had taken great care with the furnishing, decoration and thoughtful additions. The bedrooms were especially lovely and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Lyme Regis. Thank you very much.

Just back from a fabulous few days at Seaward.

Beautiful apartment, the owners really have thought of everything. Parking was a real bonus and great walks straight from the front door. Lovely to receive a phone call on our arrival day to say the apartment was ready early - thank you.

Had a great stay at Seaward, everything we needed for a lovely week away, lots of thought has gone in to ensuring everything is there, even down to a few umbrellas!

(Which were needed and appreciated for the rainy days we had.) The off street parking is also a brilliant bonus. The apartment was spacious, clean & beautifully decorated. Easy, quick walk down to the beach and a slower paced 15ish minutes walk back up. Highly recommend staying here and would book again. The only thing to note is that the mattresses are getting to the point of needing to be replaced. The main bedroom probably has a few months left, but the 2 twin beds are in need of replacement asap. Other than that, a really wonderful, comfortable place.

A really comfortable and clean apartment.

It's quiet despite being on a road. A ten minute walk to town.

This is a beautifully decorated and finished property.

The apartment was super clean and cosy when we arrived and everything we needed was provided for a lovely stay. Quick tip: don’t switch the storage heaters off from the plug as this throws all the heating out (it does say in the book which we read the day after!). The owners were really helpful and super friendly and the welcome pack was lovely. The apartment is on the corner of a small roundabout next to a road with easy access from the door to many different walks and beaches as well as shops , restaurants and bars. Parking is spacious and easy and much appreciated in this area. We really enjoyed exploring Lyme Regis and we loved this apartment, it most certainly keeps you fit walking back up the hill at the end of the day but luckily there are a few pubs en route to keep you refreshed!

This is a really comfortable and well equipped property with everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

We loved the decor and layout which suited us well. There’s plenty of information about things to do in the area, places to eat etc, and having a parking space in this area is a bonus. We’d definitely stay here again.

Lovely property, very clean and beautifully decorated.

Lots of charming touches. Only one issue was that the en-suite had an overpowering smell of damp, so bad we were unable to use it and had to keep the door shut so the smell didn’t go into the bedroom.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and well situated to walk along the river to Lyme.

The apartment is just as in the photographs. Spacious and thoughtfully decorated. Everything we could possibly need for our holiday was there, a real home from home. Even though it was December when we stayed Lyme Regis shops and restaurants were open and the Christmas lights in the town as well as mulled wine and mince pies were most welcome.

We loved our stay at Seaward.

Everything about the apartment is 5 Stsr. Especially liked all the artwork. The only slight negative is that there was only enough comfy seating for 3, we were 3 adults so it was fine for us. We will hopefully return.

Situated on a relatively quite road with good access to other areas if you wish to explore futher. Easy parking. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful property, would love to go back one day!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Seaward.

On arrival the apartment was spotless and smelt amazing. Each room has been beautifully furnished with lots of thoughtful touches. Our son enjoyed all the extras children's games and colouring books in his room. Beds were very comfortable and the fans were much appreciated as it was quite warm. We got married at the Lyme Regis Guildhall during our stay so Seaward will always be a special place for us with many happy memories. We hope to come back again in the future.

Had a fantastic stay

Lovely accommodation- clean, comfortable and very well equipped.

Wine, milk & biscuits that were left ready for us was very much appreciated. Even the dog was thought of with treats etc. The accommodation was at the top of a steep hill from the town so we ended the holiday not only feeling refreshed but much fitter! Would definitely go back!

The accommodation was beautiful and well maintained and spotlessly clean.

The only disappointment to us was being on the road side we weren't expecting to be so close to the road.

We stayed here with our 2 year old and 5 year old and it was the perfect apartment for a young family.

Clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated. Easy to get into the centre of town and to all the local amenities. We will definitely be back in the future as our children loved it here!

This was our second stay at the property this year, this time for a long weekend.

It has been thoughtfully fitted out by the owners with everything you need and is supremely comfortable. Having its own parking is also a great benefit being so close to the resort centre.

The apartment was stunning!. Spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and very much home from home with everything you you needed. Definitely be coming back and passing on the details to both family and friends.perfect.

This is a well appointed property with careful attention to detail.

There is a lot in the kitchen but no empty cupboard for guest food and limited counter top for guest use too. The property is close to town a short walk of 15-20 mins but it is a step climb uphill. It could be helpful to future guests if this was listed in the property description. We had to stand on the bed to open and close the blind. Having made those observations it is a beautiful property with an helpful considerate owner.

Fantastic accommodation fitted out to a very high specification within easy walking distance to Lyme.

The host is really helpful and responds quickly (for instance, asked for slightly earlier check in which was facilitated with ease). There is a bus route close by which was handy and also dog friendly if you want to ditch the car for your stay. I would definitely recommend this wonderful property, a great find!

Seaward is an absolutely superb holiday apartment.

Spotlessly clean, beautiful furnishings and absolutely everything you would need is provided. Comfy beds, smart tv, lovely bathrooms and some really nice touches. Owners left us a welcome pack of wine, tea, milk & biscuits which was so nice. We brought our small dog and there were dog bowls, treats and towels to dry her off after walking. Nice clear directions for accessing the property, and lots of information in the property about how everything works and the local area. Just can’t say enough good things about this place, a real find, we will be back.

We were two weeks in December at Seaward and had a thoroughly splendid stay in a property that has been carefully furnished to such a high standard for guests to enjoy.

Excellent beds and bedding, fully kitted kitchen, with wifi, workspace, and plenty of thoughtful touches to give you everything you need in a stay. We are regular travellers having stayed in so many places in different countries, and Seaward stands out as a top-notch stay that we would highly recommend. Thank you Andy for the welcome pack and the festive decorations. It was lovely that we had a chance to meet as well. Happy New Year!

The apartment is fantastic in every way - clean, very comfortable, warm, beautifully decorated and furnished, and has all the facilities you could need when away from home.

I’d thoroughly recommend a stay here and hope to be back again. The wine, biscuits and milk were a lovely touch.

The owners had kindly left milk,tea,biscuits and a bottle of wine for us.We were even able to sit in the garden one afternoon,which was a bonus in October.Thoroughly recommend the property and Lyme Regis.

Seaward is a beautifully furnished/ decorated holiday home.

We loved our stay and felt very well looked after. There’s a charming walk into town/ the sea via the Roman Road and along the river. We hired a beach hut (which was very cheap), visited dinosaurland fossil museum (private collection), what many walks along the beach with our springer, saw fossil imprints in rocks and loved the food at Town Mill Bakery. Could easily have stayed a month - fully recommend this apartment and Lyme Regis for a relaxing holiday.

The property was very clean on arrival.

The welcome pack of milk, tea, biscuits and a bottle of nice wine was much appreciated. The decor and furnishings were very good and the property had everything we needed. The parking space was good and saved a lot of money on parking fees.

Seaward is a stylish and comfortable holiday home.

We throughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated how well thought out the flat was, everything you could need and want was there. Really clean, the photos of the size of hall way and kitchen especially, don’t do it justice. Comfy beds, great bathrooms. Having stayed in lots of seaside places and battled with car parking down narrow streets, having a car parking space is a massive bonus and takes all that stress away. It means being a little bit further from the beach, which is a shame but the hill got easier over the week! The road outside is quite noisy but these are tiny niggles and we would highly recommend staying here and would certainly do so again.

Beautifully furnished flat, but unfortunately on a very busy road/roundabout which meant you couldn’t have the windows open (luckily there were fans to use) and the noise caused disrupted sleep.

Slight problem whilst we were there, but Andy dealt with this swiftly. For the courtyard (which is not private) you have to go out of the front of the property, down the steep drive and round the corner. One of the main reasons for booking this flat was that it was inferred there was ease of access to a private courtyard which we wanted for our dog. Nice touches within the flat were the tea, biscuits and milk for our arrival. The tote bag was also very useful. Very much appreciated. Monty (our dog) loved the ‘dog stuff’ basket and treats. Andy’s recommendation to walk along the river is a must and there is a fabulous restaurant ‘Millside’ in the mill courtyard which I would highly recommend.

It is a beautiful flat with everything you need for a holiday stay.

It is situated at a steep hill but has a local bus stop opposite so we used that a great deal . It would be worth telling guests which buses are used. The only thing that would have been useful would be an idiots guide for the oven but it didn’t detract from our stay . The welcome biscuits, tea and milk were a lovely touch .

Fab property which had everything we needed.

All very clean and comfortable. Lovely towels, comfy beds and lots of storage space (except in the kitchen). The only downside was the noise from the main road which is a shame. The property is up a hill which might be a problem for people with mobility issues.

Lovely apartment which is furnished to a high standard.

The actual apartment is better than the photos. Unfortunately the road noise in the lounge is quite noticeable. Lovely views all over the local area and Lyme Regis is very charming. The hosts had left lots of info on places to eat and sites to see. Enjoyed our stay

Beautifully styled, well equipped and spotlessly clean flat in Lyme Regis.

Quite a steep 10 minute walk from the town but well worth it. Great position enabling us to explore the surrounding area.

The apartment was everything and more than I expected, the attention to detail was second to none.

The fact that they allowed dogs (and even provided all you could want for their stay - even treats), was amazing in such a prestigious holiday let. The apartment was cleaned the day before our arrival and Andrew informed me that we could access the property early. I would definitely recommend the property and hopefully will stay ther3e again. Great location with beautiful views as soon as you step outside the front door and ideally located on the edge of Lyme Regis centre. Definitely recommend this apartment to anyone.

Great apartment, loved the deco and such a good selection of glasses, mugs etc was quite a surprise compared to other holiday homes , lovely and warm did actually lower the heating as our 2nd day was gorgeous and sunny!

Absolutely loved our week at Seaward.

Beautiful bright flat with everything you need, including parking. The TV, DAB radio, Wifi, books to read about the area and fossil hunting etc gave us lots to do on the rainy parts of the February days. Only a 15 minute walk down hill to the beach front, with lots of lovely little shops along the old high street. We enjoyed a couple of afternoons fossil hunting on the beach, by the sea wall one day and by Black Venn another day. Its super dog friendly in Lyme Regis, you can take your dog into almost any shop and cafe/restaurant. We enjoyed The Royal Lion for lunch a couple of afternoons, which is just on the high street, and The Cobb pub, by the cobb too. Lots of lovely tourist shops with gem stones and fossils, even a Tesco Express and Co-op, which to be honest was all we needed to get by with everyday items like milk, bread and snacky food etc. I would say however, that if you're planning on walking down the hill to the shops, take a slow walk back, as the walk back up can be difficult if you're not as fit as you think you are, which we soon found out! The views from up hill of Lyme Regis are lovely too, especially at night. We would definitely recommend Seaward as a place to stay. Andy, the owner, was extremely responsive with any correspondence, which was much appreciated.

A stunning modern, very well equipped apartment in an ideal location, we couldn’t have asked for more & all the little touches the owners provided both for us a family & for Harvey our dog were so thoughtful & were very much appreciated.

It was a beautiful home away from home in a place we love to visit. Will definitely be back to stay here as soon as we can & would highly recommend to anyone. Fabulous stay in a fabulous place.

Lovely clean and extremely well equipped apartment.

First rate fixtures and fittings. The only criticism involves dog owners who should be made aware that the enclosed garden courtyard is not attached to the property but is down in the car parking area which meant putting our dog on a lead and walking down in pyjamas for his morning ablutions !! We would highly recommend a holiday based in this property.

We felt that some instruction for the oven and ceramic hob would have been very helpful, as both were unfamiliar to us. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

Loved the decor and the bed in the master bedroom was super comfy. Location great - within walking distance to the town and beach so we didn't use our car at all. Highly recommended..

A beautiful apartment, clearly furnished with love and care.

Everything is brand new, but in an old building with touches of character. We were a party of 3 ladies and we loved coming back to our little place and cracking open a glass of fizz. It’s dog friendly, so my little dog came too on our holiday by the sea. An extra bathroom and parking space were also very handy. We met the lovely owner as we were leaving, and discovered we were the first people to stay here. We can recommend!
