"Well maintained property with fantastic sea views."
Third floor property so would suggest its not for the less mobile and it is limited for dropping off and loading of cars unless you are very quick. Over all had a fantastic stay and would recommend.

"Walking into this apartment felt like paradise with uninterrupted ocean views ."
Large windows flooded the space with natural light throughout and showing most of the beautiful coastline . Waking up to the sound of gentle waves whilst savouring my coffee was unforgettable .
The apartment is immaculate , spacious
and decorated in a relaxed coastal style that made me feel immediately at home . It is equipped with everything you need ,every detail thought about .
The location is quiet and peaceful but close enough to the cafes ,restaurants , harbour and local attractions.
This apartment exceeded every expectation and has the perfect combination of luxury comfort and location .
Before I left I had already booked another week in September .

"The perfect retreat - far enough from the centre of Weymouth so you're away from the noise, but close enough you can easily walk to all the bars and restaurants at the quay."
Nothing beats watching the waves crash in while you're sipping your morning coffee.

"A nice stay, good location and well equipped."
A little quieter with less attractions than the main part of the town, which suited us. The only gripe was reading the owners manual, it told us how spiders can spin webs overnight....There were cobwebs all over the place, the majority of them did not arrive overnight. Like a lot of holiday lets, it needs a detailed clean, just stuff like crumbs in the knife and fork draw. I suspect that whoever services the property for the owner, is either not looking for things that need cleaning, or perhaps they are not given enough time. To be fair the owners comment in their own book that made me smile and has probably made us mention this. This is really common stuff in a lot of properties we stay in. That said, we would happily stay there again.

"The apartment was superb in all the most important ways!"
Beautifully presented, immaculately clean and in a beautiful location. Our only minor feedback is that there are not enough larger saucepans, only 1 tea towel and insufficient kitchen/loo roll for 4 people for 1 week. Other than that, we had everything we needed and were very comfortable. The lounge in particular is a wonderful space. We will definitely stay again. Thank you!

"Absolutely loved Beach Retreat."
The apartment is spacious, very well fitted out in terms of taste and quality and makes good use of space with skylights adding light to the second bedroom and 2 bathrooms. The apartment has almost 360 degree views thanks to the kitchen roof terrace.
The lounge is superb with gorgeous views over the bay without a road between it and the prom and beach. The sound of the waves is music to the ears but we also adored watching the early morning swimmers arriving with common terns calling and house martins and swallows investigating the eaves for insects and possible nest sites in the morning sun's warmth and bats hunting energetically by the promenade street light in the evening. Likewise, the sea facing bedroom's windows can be opened to let in the cooling breeze and the symphony of waves. The Beach Retreat is so alluring that we mostly cooked and dined in after spending the day on visits to sights around Portland, Chesil Beach and further inland.
Visiting out of town during the day made parking easy and cheaper using the large car park over the road called Lodmore Car Park (which is code 6203 on the JustPark app), next door to Brewer's Fayre. It is free between 6pm and 8am so just requires a top up in person or via the App if you plan to take a dip or a local stroll in the morning or laze longer in the lounge soaking up the morning sun.
To underline the point, we just booked another 5 days here in a month's time!

"We had such a lovely time, the property is amazing."
They have put a lot of thought in the lay out. The view is fantastic. We just chilled with a glass of wine looking at the sea.
Beds were comfy, great having an ensuite and a bathroom. It was all fab. Loved the seagull cushion in the lounge, did you make it yourself and do you take orders lol.
This is the 3rd seafront property we have stayed in along the front and all have been good, but this was the best so far. Will definitely be back.

"It was an amazing place to stay, we enjoyed it throughly!"
The location is great and the flat is in superb condition, from kitchen to baths and the beds. We enjoyed the sea view and the time we spent chatting against it.
Only area to improve is the clarification of car parking. I ended up using the Lodmoor car park just across the street (£15 per day) but was not sure how safe it is since it was very quiet at night, and the signs were not clear about overnight parking . It turned up good at the end and had no issues.

"One of most well equipped comfortable breaks we have experienced it was home from home only snag was the parking we had to park elsewhere for the `Ironman comp but that is a small price to pay for such an excellent accommodation there is no off road parking & the daily parking is £15:00 this is not mentioned on your web page."

"We did enjoy our holiday, but had the following concerns:
It would have been useful to have a booklet about the specific property, as the kitchen switches were quite confusing to begin with."
There were some pages about the property we stayed in, but the majority in the booklet was general advice about the various properties under the same company.
It was also disappointing that the washer dryer did not dry, even the smallest loads, and we had to hang our washing on the backs of chairs.
We also had to clean out the filter in the dishwasher, as this had clearly not been done in a long time, and was dirtying the dishes.
The outside rubbish bins were full enough that they could not be closed when we arrived, which was an eyesore and created a smell in the hot weather, and they were not emptied at all during the week, meaning we couldn't dispose of our own rubbish from the kitchen bin.
We are mobile adults and our child is 8, but I think it needs mentioning that the property would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues, and would be a challenge for anyone with small children, due to the several stairs leading to the property.
It was not accurate to state that there is 'ample' on-street parking as well as the paid sealife parking. We consistently had to park several minutes away from the property.
Due to the size of the sink in the ensuite, a wall mounted handsoap dispenser would be more useful than trying to balance soap on a tiny ledge.

Lovely property in an ideal location just a pity there is no parking provided. Large car park opposite at £10 per day but a struggle to carry luggage and shopping across. We had a really enjoyable stay here and would certainly be happy to return.

"Although the description did state the flat was on the second floor we didn’t realise quite how many steps were involved."
There were so many steps it caused my husband great difficulty when having to take our cases etc up to the flat. The description really should make it very plain that if you are elderly and have mobility problems/ very young children etc then the flat would not be suitable. The description stated that there was lots of on street parking available which we didn’t find to be the case and if you didn’t want to spend an extra £70 then it was a real problem to park.
