Would recommend to anyone excellent accommodation. Everything is top quality. Perfect position to enjoy the sea and short walk into Weymouth. Buses also go past the property. Will be back.

The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed, a real home from home.

The view from the living room and balcony was lovely and listening to the sea lapping onto the shore was very relaxing. We settled from the moment we walked in the door and the bed was super comfortable. The treat box was a lovely touch. It was a short walk from the livelier Weymouth town and Harbour. We would definitely book this apartment again if in the area. Thank you for a fab week away.

This is a delightful flat in an excellent location.

Very convenient bus stops into and out of town centre and easy walking along the esplanade. Wonderful view out to sea, and the extensive beach. A generous, good quality Welcome pack. At present there is only one comfortable (in need of a clean) chair a second chair would enable both partners to enjoy the sea view to the full. Well equipped kitchen. Well appointed bathroom. A 5 star find.

On arrival at Ocean Retreat we knew this was a perfect choice to celebrate 50 years of our first holiday as a couple in Weymouth.

The apartment was immaculate and the decor was superb. Everything you needed was there even a pair of binoculars. The view from living room was a dream and each morning sitting on the balcony for breakfast listening to the sea lapping onto the shore couldn't be beaten. The treat box was a lovely touch. It's only a short walk from from the hustle and bustle from Weymouth town and Harbour. We will definitely book this apartment again for our next visit.

What a place!

Amazing value, right on the beach with a balcony. The property was spotless and had everything you would need for a short or long stay. I will really miss the sound of the waves in the morning with the sun having a coffee on the balcony. Short walk in to town for all your amenities. 20 mins in the car to durdle door and little further for Lulworth cove. It was perfect, we will definitely be coming back.

This was one of the very best places we have stayed in everything we needed with great views easy access and parking short walk to town we loved it

We went to Ocean Retreat last year and we’re very impressed except the bed was uncomfortable, but just about acceptable , this year we were very pleased as before however the bed again was uncomfortable and needs to be replaced, everything else was top notch, absolute wonderful location and everything thought of in the apartment.

I would and do recommend Ocean Retreat, it’s a treat for anyone. Excuse the pun!

The flat - no this is where one can truly say "apartment" - oozes class.

Everything is top notch. The furnishings are lovely the bed and seating are very comfortable, the decor is classical - such high ceilings. /and the view is spectacular. You don't have to include this bit, as it seems a shame to have to add anything slightly negative - but the blinds are generally a bit problematical in that you can never get them to be dead level. And the one on the right side looking out from the lounge is missing a few stiches at the bottom which allows the lastic weight to pop out. I think what happens is that the bottom catches on the curved metal handles at thebottom of the windows.

Bedlinen smelt musty.

had to clean main shower head for it to work properly. The flat is lovely.the view is fabulous

We had all the directions but took us a while to piece them all together! What a beautiful apartment! Spotlessly clean and everything that we could have asked for, also a lovely goody box and some milk left in the fridge, thank you !

Very high standard of decor and amenities stunning views from lounge and balcony.

Loved the walk in shower and the his and hers wash hand basins.Easy walk to beach and town centre. Just a few minutes and you are walking through well kept gardens and cafe. Would have no hesitation in recommending this holiday.

One of the best holiday lets we have ever stayed in.

The property was clean , well equipped and very comfortable, there was a welcome pack , milk ,tea ,coffee ,biscuits and chocolate which was a nice touch when you arrive. The view from apartment was mesmerising, having breakfast on the balcony was a real treat. The location was spot on for us , an ideal distance from town ,but short enough to walk into . The apartment being so close to the sea was a bonus, particularly as we had amazing weather. The holiday was made perfect knowing we have a lovely apartment ,with fab views to enjoy, after being out for the day , we will definitely be returning.

We had a fantastic week at Ocean's Retreat in beautiful Weymouth.

At this time of the year (end of January) as relaxing and quiet as we hoped for. The apartment is lovely decorated - the living room is a beauty in itself. Spacious, but comfy. And the views onto the sea are to die for. The kitchen is small but fine - the highlight here is the gorgeous balcony with unspoiled views to the sea again. We even managed to have a sunny breakfast outside. In the middle of winter! The bathroom is very nice too, with a fabulous spacious shower. The only minor letdown was the bedroom. The room iitself is spacious and nice, too. But the mattress was not as comfy as it looked, being a bit bumpy and with dents in it. Maybe it should be switched. Besides the nightly clanking sounds of the pipes leading to the bedroom radiator were a bit distracting. But these are minor quibbles for a great apartment, we'd love to come back some day.

Ocean View is a beautiful apartment and very tastefully decorated.

The kitchen is very well-equipped and the spacious bathroom superb with the most fluffiest towels. I loved the view out to sea from the large lounge windows and I had the best sleep ever in the very comfortable bed. 5-10 mins easy flat walk along the promenade into Weymouth town and the Old Harbour just beyond is lovely for a stroll around with plenty of eateries. Weymouth is very well situated for visiting lovely Dorset. Thank you so much for the lovely welcome hamper and milk which was a lovely surprise and was very much appreciated. I hope very much to return.

Lovely apartment with great sea views from the large windows and the balcony.

Loved the decor. We had breakfast on the balcony each morning in the sunshine. Lovely quiet area within easy walking distance of the busier areas. We would certainly return.

The cottage was gorgeous.

Very comfortable & welcoming. The decor was beautiful. Views from the lounge & kitchen were stunning & the sun loungers on the balcony were a great feature. They were in a real sun trap each morning so we ate breakfast out there. Location was perfect away from the busy end but walking distance from everything. We could have happily lived there

Fabulous apartment.

So much so I have booked for the same time next year.

We loved this apartment.

Lovely sea views out of the very large windows. Very easy to walk into the town along the coastal path. Very nicely furnished and well equipped. Instructions for use of appliances were provided. Quiet location and easy to park our car. We will certainly be back and would love to live there.

Really loved our apartment with the amazing sea views.

The Dorset hamper was an unexpected bonus - thank you. Only comment would have been the mattress was rather lumpy but other than that we had a great week away and would certainly go again.

Our only issues were that there was only one toilet roll supplied and no kitchen roll.

The welcome pack however was a lovely gesture. The comfort of the property was lovely with lovely views over the sea. The onsite parking was a plus with a 20 minutes walk to the harbour really nice stay

This was our second Christmas at Ocean Retreat and cannot rate it highly enough.

For us the comfort of the apartment and position is first class. To hear the sea from the lounge with the massive windows makes you feel like you are on the seafront. The facilities in the kitchen are wonderful and I cooked a second Christmas dinner here with no problem. The added touches of a lovely Christmas tree and wine and chocolates along with the Dorset Company hamper makes it that extra special.

Beautiful accommodation, definitely would love to come back next year, only slight thing, was not sure which bin to put rubbish in upon leaving as nothing was marked with address as instructed, but thankyiu Rory a wonderful holiday , it was our wedding anniversary so wanted something special and ocean retreat was exactly that ❤

‘Ocean Retreat’ is a beautiful property in a convenient position with stunning views of Weymouth Bay.

It was comfortable and cosy and a pleasure to return to after exploring the local area. It was well equipped, had plenty of storage, and the‘welcome pack’ was also a lovely touch! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

A perfect gem.

We really enjoyed our stay everything has been thought about. The view is amazing and the lovely terrace helps to make the most of the position of the apartment. The hamper and milk left for us was an extra thoughtful touch which we didn't expect so thank you for that. It was so peaceful and restful. But nice to be able to watch the world go by on the promenade through the lovely big windows in the lounge.

Another wonderful stay in sunny Weymouth!

Made all the more special by this lovely apartment. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay, Ocean Retreat is finished to a very high standard and furnished beautifully too. The views were fabulous, the balcony was also a added bonus. The welcome box was much appreciated too! A wonderful Weymouth holiday... Perfect!

We had a truly wonderful holiday in a fantastic apartment.

It was beautifully furnished and everything we needed (kitchen equipment etc) was of high quality. We will definitely be returning again. The view over the bay was gorgeous and the terrace was a lovely place to eat breakfast and take in the scenery. It was a very memorable week.

Second time we have stayed at Ocean Retreat, return visit every bit as good as the first!

Excellent location, uninterrupted sea views and recommend the Park Hotel pub within a couple of minutes walk

Our second visit and will return as we love the location and comfort of the apartment.

Comfortable bed and kitchen well stocked should you want to do any cooking. All in all really excellent stay.

This was a well equipped apartment with beautiful sea views.

We had our own dedicated parking space so parking was never a problem. It was a flat and easy 10 minute walk into the central shopping and dining area of town. It felt very secure and very relaxing. Can highly recommend as a comfortable and warm rental to stay in Weymouth.

We really enjoyed the 'cottage' in Weymouth; the view is delightful and the accommodation very well appointed.

2 small complaints - the first is the fact that there was dog excrement on the parking area near the door to our 'cottage''... - the second is that we needed more towels - just small ones as they also used as 'hair drying' towels... Otherwise, thanks you... Regards, Audrey

Ocean Retreat is a spacious and comfortable flat, made extra special by the fabulous sea views.

I think its the quieter end of town but there was always something to watch at sea and on the beach. The sound of waves on the shingle was very soothing. We were able to watch the New Years fireworks from the balcony. The kitchen is well equipped, with a useful welcome hamper. Thankyou Zac and Liesl for the New Year gift!

Lovely apartment with views to die for of the sea and I could hear the sea when in the lounge and kitchen - well equipped for cooking as I did make a traditional Christmas lunch in the single oven !

A fabulous apartment in an ideal location !

! Beautifully furnished and equipped with a lovely welcome pack on arrival, thank you. The views were absolutely stunning and we were blessed with gorgeous weather. Perfectly positioned for walks along the beach, close to town for shops and restaurants and a bus stop on the door step. We shall definitely be returning.

What a stunning property!

Beautifully decorated and in a fantastic location. The commanding views from the living room were truly spectacular, one could spend hours watching the boats and kite surfers. The balcony was an added bonus although sadly the weather turned the week we were there and after a 3 month drought we had thunderstorms nearly every night. Even these were spectacular to watch from the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom is fabulous - the size of that shower is great for someone like me (6'6" tall) The bed was extremely comfortable (please tell me the make..I want one!) The only downside were the pillows which were like a ships biscuit - flat and hard! I really hope that this apartment is available next time we are down. Highly recommended

This property was everything that we hoped it would be .

A special place to celebrate a special wedding anniversary. To see and be so close to the sea , listening to the waves and watching the Sun rise was amazing . A very clean , fresh modern flat with everything we needed . We will be coming back as soon as we can .

Wonderful location to enjoy all that Weymouth offers whether that be people watching, access to the town and beach or simply relaxing.

The property provides everything you need for your stay, it is decorated in a lovely way, very clean and stylish. We arrived during the heatwave and the only thing I would mention for such conditions is that a retractable shade or a small parasol would be welcomed on the deck area. Thanks for a great stay. This apartment is a gem and will not disappoint, it was just perfect !

situated in the quieter area of the esplanade with beautiful uninterrupted sea views.we particularly enjoyed getting up each morning and listening to the sound of the waves. The accommodation is contemporary,tastefully decorated and well equipped.We would highly recommend and would definitely like to return.

We had a great stay in the appartment.

It is well- furnished and equipped. Great position, so near the town and sea. Also, we loved the quality of the linen and towels. Finally, how marvellous to have enough good- quality matching hangers!

A beautiful property with fantastic views over the bay.

Very clean, everything you need and a great location. My only complaint would be the check in and out times. Considering how much we paid for a 2 nights stay, we technically only had just over a day in the property. We didn’t consider it good value for money.

Ocean Retreat is amazing.

We had a fabulous stay for 12 days over Christmas.

The apartment was spotless, comfortable and well equipped. The ever changing sea view from the sitting room was stunning and we loved listening to the waves. The location is perfect for walking, there is plenty to do in the area and some great eating out places. We appreciated the pretty Christmas tree and welcome gift. An absolute gem!

Everything has been so well thought out and beautifully done. I used to craft in glass and really appreciated the Jo Downs! But all the other art so well done from the agate slices to the art on the lounge and bedroom walls. Wondered if any of it was done by the owners? Very well equipped and the terrace is a lovely place to sit, as is the view from the lounge. Also in a good location. We have booked two more weeks and will probably book a third one. Absolutely ideal for us. Thank you.

The property was overlooking the sea and it was the most beautifully furnished flat.

We were just delighted with the whole area and the pretty villages in the surrounding area. The information provided in the flat covered everything from places to eat, places to go and operation of all the equipment provided.

The flat was better than we expected, it looked great in the pictures, but had the WOW factor when you stepped through the front door.

Tastfully decorated and a great location for going into the centre of Weymouth, or venturing out further by foot of car. Had an allocated parking space which was a big bonus. We loved the floor to ceiling windows in the lounge looking out to sea and the big L shaped settee. Definately book again. Thank you.

Far exceeded our expectations, brilliant location and great venue for a week away.

Really wonderful apartment with amazing views.

Loved just sitting on the sofa (or outside on the deck) and watching the sea. Very relaxing. The apartment is very well equipped and the kitchen, although small, contains everything you need except maybe cupboard space for your own groceries (but can just move things around to create space). One tip - if you plan on cooking on a daily basis bring dishwasher tablets as only 2 were provided. I really enjoyed my stay here and happy to give it a thorough recommendation.

The wow factor as you first walk into the living room and out onto the balcony with the most amazing view over Weymouth Bay, and the sound of the waves lapping on the beach below cannot be beaten.

The apartment has everything you can think of and more, and is so beautifully decorated. Everything has been thought of - the chair and footstool in the living room by the sash windows give the best views if the weather is not so good, and the balcony is perfect for sunbathing or just sitting and watching the world go by - if you are up early enough the sunrise is spectacular. The beach is a 2 minute walk and was never crowded. We barely used the car - a lovely walk into Weymouth along the prom and to Bowleaze cove the other way - the lookout café on the way to Bowleaze does amazing breakfasts and cake. A huge thank you to Kirsty who helped when one of the windows had stuck open - you are an absolute star!! It was our first child free holiday - we will definitely stay there again.

This is an excellent apartment, only recently beautifully furnished in modern style.

Extremely good location to the Promenade and the Beach, and to walk in to Weymouth itself. High speed wifi. Very comfortable bed. Balcony ideal for the morning sun and having breakfast there. Suggestions to improve: A Fan in the bedroom for cooling as due to the bedroom location at the front on ground level it is only practical to open the window a small distance. The television system and the remote control in the lounge is very slow and only limited channels.

The apartment was well situated near Greenhill Gardens and was equipped to a very high standard with allocated parking for one car. It had wonderful Panoramic sea views from kitchen balcony and lounge windows. We would certainly love to return.

The apartment is all new and tastefully decorated but also very comfortable.

All the appliances you would ever need are there. It is situated in a superb position on the Esplanade about 10-15 minutes walk to Weymouth. The views from the windows are far reaching sea and coast. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay. There is a good parking space for one car.
