The property was well situated and was close enough to walk into the centre of Swanage.

I found my two weeks there very pleasant and the flat was very comfortable. So, yes, I would stay there again. The only negative comment would be that the kitchen area could do with a bit of an upgrade. The problem is that older equipment - fridges, freezers etc., despite a good clean never appear to be very clean. Just a suggestion for the owners. It would make a big difference.

On arrival Thankyou for bottle of wine, sadly lots of condiments left in packets were all out of date, thoughtful biscuits out of date.

Sadly the apartment was not as clean as it should be! Annoying dripping tap in kitchen.Cupboards dusty and unkempt in kitchen needs a deep clean or total new kitchen floor etc.Upstairs bathroom very worn and run down but was clean. Upstairs bedroom would not sleep under looked old dirty and damp. Lounge acceptable but furnishings old and a bit scruffy.Tv needed passcodes to access programmes. Downstairs bedroom again old worn out and soft furnishings bedlinen all very worn and needs updating wardrobe handle missing screw prominent could cause injuries. On suite bathroom very dirty back of toilet very unclean needed to clean before using ,toilet seat needs changing urgently.Toilet brush disgusting and very old ,left soaking in bleach as a hint. Pull cord to the light filthy needs urgent replacement, extractor fan full of fluff and dust. Again all so dated tiles and grouting old and dirty old shower. Sykes needs to review this apartment urgently or drop its rating. In relation to dog friendly absolutely not . Steep stairs as access to front door not suitable for very young or older people, or elderly dogs should be made clearer in adverts for this apartment.Certainly not friendly too young or old dogs ,as when they need the toilet you come out onto residential pathways with very little grass or a garden so long walk to nearest piece of grass. Sadly we did not enjoy our accommodation and left on Thursday morning not completing our break. We cannot recommend this accommodation at all. Old cards around the fireplace stating people have enjoyed their stay previously , so something has gone very wrong.I expect Sykes to urgently review this apartment as it has amazing location and potential.
