Please pretty please can there be more cutlery (4 knives, forks & spoons is very limited considering there is a dishwasher) & crockery otherwise excellent property, deserves gold star

we had a fantastic time at the willows just like home from home.

My wife is totally blind she managed to negotiate very well but found the steps at the rear out to the garden to be a problem a rail would be very helpful for her or any elderly couples .Enjoyed thankyou hoped to be back. Ivan and Violet Britton.

Lovely bungalow very peaceful location and privacy,everything was there that you would need ,for a relaxing holiday but also lots to do would recommend it as a holiday location

Perfect place to go for a holiday.

Idea for 2 people but a little cramped for 4 adults as only 1 toilet/ shower room. We found the bed comfy but rather soft

A lovely holiday home.

Very clean with nice decor. Everything provided for a great stay including comfortable beds and a large walk-in shower. Enjoyed the private garden which was nicely presented including pretty garden lights for the evening. Lovely view of the fields from the garden and lounge and a walk over these fields takes you to the beach at Bowleaze Cove. Close to bus stop to get you into Weymouth town centre. Really enjoyed our stay and will recommend to family and friends.

A perfect holiday cottage for exploring Weymouth and the beautiful surrounding countryside.

The property was lovely and bright and clean and tidy. The instructions for the heating and equipment was all very clear. Fortunately we had some sunshine and enjoyed relaxing in the garden taking in the beautiful view. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

What a lovely property.

Fantastic walk in shower, well equipped, general comfort on the whole is great, had to negotiate the stools for the breakfast bar but that's just an age thing. Outside space brilliant. Bus stop just around the corner with buses into Weymouth. Only negative is the bed in main bedroom needs to be looked at as very noisy on far side, hence we moved into twin room...will definitely book again...

In general we enjoyed our stay at the Willows found it to be in a great position to explore the area.

Some minor aspects I would suggest need resolving. The main bed is noisy especially when getting out of it window side. Main bedroom door wouldn't fully shut so it kept on fully opening. Central heating not clear how to override the automatic setting some nights wanted it on longer as it got cold. Bathroom was small but we got by ok. None of the above spoilt our time in the Willows it was just a tad frustrating.

Great location for strolling over the hill to the sea and also on a direct bus route to take you into Weymouth or along the coast to Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Wareham. House was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need for a stay there. Beautifully decorated with an abundance of very nice ornaments etc to make it a very cosy base (home from home). Excellent.

My Holliday was almost perfect it would have been better to have a double bed in both bedrooms as I didn't like the singles,and the only other disappointment was the bedding on the double bed smelt damp and frosty, think it had been washed and put back on the bed damp, Apart from that it was lovely a great location beautifull garden and a well equipped kitchen,so thankyou for a wonderfull Holliday.

We had a lovely time at The Willows.

Everything we needed was there. Lovely garden too. We had good weather, so used in the evenings after days out. There is a fantastic garden centre (Gould's), just around the corner. Visited lots of Dorset. Would recommend Lyme Regis, Sherborne Castle and gardens, Wimborne Minster and more locally Sandworld, the sculptures are amazing. Thank you to the owners Debbie and Phil for a fantastic two weeks stay. Also thank you to Sykes for the impeccable service given, we have booked with you before, you've never let us down. We book and pay by phone, which we prefer. Will book again in the future. Thanks to all Julie & Neale

We found the bungalow spotless and very comfortable.

Garden is lovely and sat I'm the garden most days after our days out. Lovely shower and always had hot water. Thank you very much for a lovely stay.

Everything in this property is of the highest quality with amazing attention to detail, ideally situated in the best area of Weymouth and perfect for a couple like ourselves.

However, I would advise not ideal for four adults or couples with children - just not spacious enough especially with the dinning arrangements and clothes storage facilities. Furthermore if you like a dark bedroom this is not for you as only blinds at windows (no curtains) that let daylight in soon as dawn arises. Oh and also shower room/toilet very tiny (not for big folk!) but we managed OK!

Excellent property, immaculately clean, lovely & peaceful, we would definitely like to return

This property was great for us as a couple celebrating Christmas by the sea.

It is well furnished to a very acceptable standard and the Xmas decorations were lovely. There were some kind touches - such as a Xmas card plus provision of a roasting tin and baking foil which would have been good for a traditional Xmas meal but we brought our own pie so didn't need to use them. Sykes/Dream Cottages were prompt and efficient replacing the smoke/CO2 alarms on Xmas eve, which was impressive.

It’s a lovely bungalow, in a good location, very comfortable, peaceful and within walking distance to the sea. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the area and were lucky enough to catch quite a bit of sun. We would highly recommend and would definitely return if we come that way again. It’s a beautiful part of the country.

The Willows is a beautiful renovated bungalow.

Comfortable double bed , but the single mattresses were very soft . Although the breakfast bar is convenient, we felt not having a table made it unsociable for eating or playing games. The garden is amazing, with plenty of seating. The sofas are extremely clean but not very practical for comfort for 3 or 4 people. The bathroom was spotless with an amazing walk in shower. The property is very well situated , being a few minutes from weymouth and roads to other places. Overall we had a lovely stay .

Lovely clean, well equipped cottage in a very peaceful area of Weymouth.

Lots of room for a family with a lovely garden and easy parking. Ideal for me as a minutes walk away from family I come to visit! I would definitely stay there again.

What can I say except this was a Lovely property.

We had a slight issue on the Sunday morning to find the shower drain been blocked and slight flood in bathroom but this was resolved on the Monday. Beds and furniture was comfortable, plenty of towels , tea coffee etc was a welcomed sight due to our very late arrival on the Saturday night. Peaceful area, but ideally located for the main road to various lovely places which we visited several over the week , all amazingly beautiful and some we visited twice. If we decide to visit Weymouth again we would definitely book the "Willows"

Nice little bungalow on a quiet road.

The bungalow was clean and had the basic things we needed. It is in an excellent position for a short drive into Weymouth and lots of other popular holiday places

A lovely place to stay, if you don't want to use your car near to bus stops to get around.

The place is very comfortable and in a quiet location would definitely stay there again.

Great bungalow with excellent location everything great but did struggle with the front step small one needs extending to make them equal size easy to trip up.

Back steps into garden which was lovely would benefit from tape at the edge of each step as also a hazard. Shower head needs replacing goes all over the place luckily rain head ok otherwise would have gone out and bought a replacement. Only small things but still need sorting would revisit as had a good holiday good weather and loved Weymouth!

Great place,location and amenities

Lovely property which was ideal for our party consisting of myself partner and little boy.

Location is ideal lots of amenities local. Just a small point regarding the taps in the kitchen I was stood for a while stumped for a moment as to why I couldn’t get hot water in the kitchen only to realise that the hot and cold tap are on the wrong way round and the cold tap was in fact hot water. Maybe a little note/sign just to avoid confusion would be helpful. If you’re a couple or small family looking for a home from home visit to Weymouth this is definitely a good property for you. We found the bungalow idea for our holiday, we were fortunate and had lovely weather so enjoyed the back garden.

The position of the bungalow was also good, quiet but all the amenities within easy reach. We had a lovely week.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at The Willow!

We had seen an apartment which was in the centre of Weymouth but so glad we went with The Willow. It’s spacious, clean and well presented, offered all the amenities that you need. The garden itself was lovely and with 2 young children they made use of it. The lighting around the garden in the evening was a nice touch. Location is great, only a short drive to the centre of Weymouth. Wished we booked a little longer! Have recommended to my family and friends, we’ll definitely book again!

Lovely modern property !

And a great base for Dorset. Lovely to be able to sit in the garden in a summers evening! Very clean and I love the fact that a bathroom shower mat was there for the shower ! This made sound silly but showers are slippy! I will book this property again!

Great little holiday home in easy reach of Weymouth and the surrounding area.

We had a great stay at The Willows. The bungalow is very well appointed, clean and everything in good working order. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

This is a lovely little bungalow and it has been renovated beautifully.

Even the beds were comfortable which almost never happens in a holiday home :-) Only criticism is that the main bed isn't a king size which would have made it totally perfect.

We had a lovely week away at The Willows.

It's a lovely well appointed property. Lots of information about cooker /dishwasher/appliances etc. All on one level which for us was essential. Lovely sunny garden. Plenty to do in the area, enjoyed the walk to Bowleaze cove. We loved the fact that it was quiet when we came back, made it so relaxing. Another front door key would have been useful. We have just returned from The Willows, Preston, Dorset.

The bungalow was beautifully decorated and well equipped and immaculately clean. The bedding and towels were pristine but there were no pillow protectors on the pillows, just pillow slips. We did have a major problem with the steps leading into the front door and the steps leading out to the terrace and garden. These steps were not mentioned in the holiday bungalow description. We are both elderly and disabled and therefore chose this bungalow carefully to consider our mobility. The catch on the back door (to keep it open) is behind the door and difficult to reach with 2 hidden steps at the side of the terrace. Whilst trying to undo the catch to close the door, my wife slipped on the side step and had a fall. Luckily no bones broken but had nasty cuts and scratches on her foot. She takes a blood thinner so we had a problem trying to stem the bleeding. The terrace paving stones are all in line and deceiving when looking out from the back door and they lead down in various heights which is disconcerting. Not only did we have problems with these steps but a toddler could easily fall and have devastating injuries. There is nothing to hold onto to steady yourself either. We strongly advise that there should be a handrail. The front door had a high lip leading out to the first very narrow step and then to a wider step before reaching the path. This narrow step is hazardous and all together difficult to manoeuvre when you have mobility problems like 2 crutches to aid walking. All these hazards should have been mentioned in the description for this holiday home. Sorry to be so critical but we were very happy with the bungalow in general.

Needs plastic cooking pot for microwave for cooking peas & beans etc.

Lovely property, clean and private garden which could have benefited from a table to eat off outside especially as weather was so beautiful.

Very difficult eating off your lap and no trays provided either. Shower could do with a container to hold your bathing items. Our son who was with us has a walking disability and found it difficult to keep bending and also a Bath mat in shower is required. We had to use towel in shower so he wouldn’t slip! Also no casserole dishes or Tupperware boxes to cook/store things in or put in microwave. A squeeze mop would be handy to mop up water from shower and clean floor. All just little things. A nice holiday we had anyway.
