Pond View

Love Pond View, visited many times.

Fiona and Ed always pleasant and helpful. Very tranquil location, beautiful area.

Very comfortable accommodation in beautiful location.

Lovely quiet place to stay.

Coming from rural area we value the scenic views and our old Retriever Daisy love the grassed areas

John and I have had a second holiday at THE POND.

Very comfortable with king size bed .Also everything was there you want . Lovely couple very obliging. It was lovely looking at the numerous dragonflies and the wild life plus the farm animals. July weather was also for us sunshine all week .BUT. this year we had to Pay for going for a walk in the New Forest.

Love Pond View, gng back in Sept.

Ed and Fiona always helpful and friendly. V hot, but we managed pretty well.

Perfect location ,the cottage had everything and it was clean and comfortable, we loved it

Best holiday accommodation we have ever had everything was spotless and the kitchen was equipped with more than you would usually find in a holiday cottage the area is beautiful, and the peace and quiet is amazing.

Bed and bedding of a very high standard haven’t slept so well in years the perfect peaceful holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pond View Cottage.

It is a lovely peaceful working farm location away from the hustle and bustle of town life. Surrounded by fields. Only a five minute drive into Fordingbridge where the shops, pubs and cafes offer all you need. A great base for visiting the New Forest, the city of Salisbury and further afield. The farm owners were very friendly and always had time to stop and chat. As with the Hen that visited the front door every morning!

Always love staying at Pond View.

Tranquil, beautiful location. Ed and Fiona great hosts.

We had a lovely four night stay - Pond View is cosy and comfortable, and a great base for exploring the New Forest to the east and Dorset to the west as well as good walks very locally.

And there were tiny ducklings on the pond while we were there!

Lovely area to stay for a real rest and escape.

. Farmland all round so plenty of walks.

Beautiful setting, very basic facilities.

Bed comfortable but settee awful.

This was our second stay at pond view and was lovely ,our only criticism really just from a comfort issue , the sofa really is uncomfortable and has seen better days ,otherwise a fabulous stay Thank you

Stayed here many times.

Love the tranquillity and location. Fiona and Ed are always very helpful and pleasant . They respond promptly if there are any problems. Never want to leave, especially when the weather has been good.

Brilliant accommodation, clean, everything provided, lovely location.

One small problem, the accommodation is attached to another and sound proofing was totally inadequate between the buildings. We could hear the two gentlemen talking etc. next door quite clearly, fortunately it wasn't a family in there which could have been a lot worse!

The perfect bank holiday stay.

Will be looking to stay again.

What a great base to stay because it was central to all areas of the new forest .

It was a very quite and relaxing place to stay even the dog loved it . I will be booking there a gain .

Ideal location.

Clean and spacious accommodation for two. Well equipped kitchen. Owners helpful and friendly. Plenty of space on the farm to walk a dog but it is a farm so remember your wellies.

Ed and Fiona always welcoming.

Cottage comfortable and clean. Beautiful area. Second visit this yr.

This is our second break here, and had fabulous time, felt very relaxed.

Owner very friendly, accommodation cleaned to a high standard every thing you could want in the property. Beautiful surroundings and well maintained farm. Hope to come back soon. Thank you

The accomadation was as expected.

We had a brilliant week there. The weather was VERY hot. I suggestyou take a portable fan with you if the weather looks to be as hot as ours was! Rose and Thistle pub (left at entrance) excellent! The farm owners are very nice and did not appear to stop working. Will hope to go again sometime.

It would have been nice to know there was a small freezer, and a few extra bits there.

The bungalow was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Would recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful little cabin, with a well stocked kitchen for crockery and utensils.

Owner very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful setting, pond view provided everything we needed, cosy and warm, cleanliness gets top scores, we have already said we will be coming back, great holiday for us and our dog. Walks around farm are amazing, plenty to fill your day with out needing to take drive anywhere.

lovely place to stay the owners are very friendly and have obvoiusly worked very hard to make the experience a very good one - thank you.

the cottages are very well fitted out with every convenience. the farm animals are in view sheep, chickens and cows in pleasent countryside. some good local walks to explore and nice roads for a drive out. looking forwards to a future visit.

Amazing place to stay, extremely comfortable has everything you need, as if you were in your own home.

Pond view was beautiful, the owners are lovely would return as we enjoyed our stay.

The property was very nice clean and tidy had all the facilities needed for a long weekend and a comfortable bed only bugbear was the sofa wasnt very comfortable needs a slightly bigger one .

apart from that great place lovely being on a working farm some good pubs around too. Plenty to visit locally. met the owners were very nice too

A really nice stay, local pubs and shops within 2-3 miles Hosts very welcoming Tried to fish the pond 3 times, not even a bite The only let down is the adjoining property can be heard from yours, to the point you can hear what they are saying when in the bathroom A lovely place to stay, lots to do in the area all within a hours drive, cities, beaches, castles and the new forest only 10 mins

Nice peaceful quiet location around 3 miles from Fordingbridge.

Ideal if you have a dog and the owners dog is very friendly. A torch is handy for a late evening walk ! Highly recommended comfortable place to stay.

The cottage and the location was exceptional, so idyllic.

The hosts were so friendly, they came to see us shortly after we arrived to check that everything was ok. A fantastic holiday

Lovely stay Just what we were looking for.

Ed was brilliant in suggesting places to visit The accommodation a real getaway but within easy reach of the New Forest ,Salisbury , Lymington , Christchurch and Bournemouth. Looking to book again Iain and Sue

A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting.

Rockbourne is a very picturesque village. Lots to do & see nearby. The local pub is excellent with a great menu & friendly service.

very clean well maintained furnished well in keeping with property

A very pretty converted cottage, warm, (November booking) and comfortable.

Ideal location for exploring The New Forest and surrounding area, or just perfect for relaxing and enjoying the local walks and pub from the farm.

This was our third stay at Pond View.

We like the area and the cottage is perfect for our needs. The area around the New Forest offers lots of lovely walks for us and our dog. Our hosts were very welcoming.

Pond View was all we could wish for, clean, well equipped and comfortable.

Our hosts were friendly and helpful.

The WiFi wasn't working and no phone signal il

Pond View is a nice holiday cottage situated in a lovely landscape within a very attractive part of Hampshire.

One point to raise is the heating arrangements. The first weekend was exceptionally cold for the time of year. The bedroom was kept warm by keeping the heating on and the door closed. However, with only one small heater situated by the front door and a very high roof area it was not possible to heat the main lounge and kitchen area.We sat on Friday night wearing jumpers.Saturday,we went into Salisbury and brought a portable electric fire so we could stay warm for the rest of the week. The only other problem, which only lasted until Monday and is no fault of the owners, was children being allowed to run around the properties shouting until 10.30-11O'clock at night.Rhese two small problems should not detract from the advantages of spending a holiday at West Park Farm.

We had a wonderful week at Pond View.

Ed and Fiona as hosts were very approachable and friendly. We felt immediately at home. Great base to explore the New Forest and the south coast. The accommodation was immaculate. Thank you

Everything about the destination and the owners commitment to their customers was perfect - personal, personable and willing.

Everything about the Sykes end of the arrangement was rubbish. Sure, you have the automated touch-point comms perfectly sorted. And your system works hard to continuously engage and mine data. But from the moment something went wrong to the moment I gave up trying to reach a human being NOTHING met my needs. I doubt that we will willingly head your way again.

Need a little update

Pond view was absolutely perfect for our quiet/relaxing f Short break.

Will certainly come back

Hosts great, cottage very comfortable, use of the woods & surrounding fields (as directed) in a lovely convenient position.

Rose & Thistle great atmosphere & food.

Gorgeous location, accommodation bright and tastefully presented.

Our dogs loved the farm setting. Friendly owners.Husband enjoyed his farm tour with Ed .Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

The barn conversion was not to bad in all other places we have been to we have always had a welcome pack left to us not one here.

Bed was very good! sofa to old and low to the floor cups and some plates were dirty two pans in the oven needed washing kettle full of scale hoover smelt as if the bag had not been emptied for a long time and smelt of doggy but other electric goods were ok.

We made the mistake of relying too much on the photographs of the property on your website.

On the website the photos show a light and airy sitting area, in reality it was very dark. Sadly there was no private area outside for us to sit except for two extremely dirty seats alongside a dirt track where farm vehicles constantly created a dust storm as they travelled along the track. Also there was evidence of wasp nests which prevented us from opening windows. All in all it was a disappointing trip, we left the very next day.

Another enjoyable holiday at Pond View.

Weather a bit off, but didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves. Ed and Fiona always friendly and helpful.

It was a lovely holiday .

Ed and Fiona were excellent hosts.A good cottage to relax in peaceful surroundings .We loved the working farm and the New Forest with the ponies and foals.

Cottage situated on a working farm, beautiful scenery, and lovely animals.

Very quiet and green. We had to drive to find shops and pubs but no further than 2-3 miles so no problem. We would certainly book again and we would stay in Pond Cottage again. We had a very relaxing stay.

The peace and quiet.

We were more than fortunate with the weather, but we were even more fortunate with our choice of accommodation ( which was mesmerising in its abundance ). We could not have chosen somewhere more appropriate for US. The facilities were beyond reproach - there was something for every need on a quiet holiday - a top class for comfort and cosiness in the cottage itself, but the owners on this working farm were effacive until approached, and then we were shown new lambs and new adoptions after untimely deaths. Local shopping and eating out were fantastic.A+++

We loved the accomadation and area so much we wanted to stay longer, unfortunately it was already fully booked.

Ed and Fiona were lovely hosts and obviously look after their properties.

Very rustic cottage, perfect for exploring the New Forest.

the property was cosy , and inviting.

... Ed and Fiona were perfect mine hosts...the farm and surroundings were beautiful.. nature at its best...buzzards could be seen and heard also foxes and owls in the evening.... black birds ducks and sheep.. greeting us in the morning.. plenty to see and do.. the perfect chillax place if that's what you want. well balanced. the Augustas john pub.... fab food.. LOVED IT. SUE FOWLER

Seventh visit to a Pond View.

We love the farm and Ed and Fiona are always about to help with any queries or problems. Great area to holiday in with countryside and seaside both within easy reach.

This cottage made a wonderful base for exploring the New Forest and surrounding area with the added bonus of being in a lovely setting with friendly owners.

It was a fabulous place to stay.

So welcoming and the animals on the farm were fantastic. It is a place we will be returning to next year.
