Description

This Victorian semi-detached property is ideally located in the seaside town of Weymouth. This comfortable property provides spacious accommodation for families for a centrally located base.

The property benefits from ample living space, with high ceilings and airy rooms. On the ground floor there is a comfortably equipped kitchen with separate dining room and bright living room.

A pretty crazy enclosed paved garden to the rear with garden furniture, the perfect place to enjoy an alfresco dinner at the end of the day.

Just a short walk down to Hope Square to enjoy the excellent array of restaurants, tea rooms and pubs, then walk through the square to reach the pretty Old Harbourside.

Further afield are many pretty villages in Dorset such as Abbotsbury where you can enjoy a walk around the Swannery and sub-tropical gardens and don’t forget to visit the children's farm. You are ideally placed for exploring the stunning Jurassic Coast which has been awarded World Heritage status.

Just a short stroll to Weymouth Harbour, Brewers Quay and Weymouth's golden sands and all that Dorset has to offer, whatever the weather.

What a fabulous home!

Tastefully decorated and laid out, with a well equipped kitchen, huge lounge with big comfy sofas, and a really fab shower. Oh, and proper sash windows, too! The only drawback is the lack of parking, but we managed to stop (nearly) right outside for loading and unloading, and found parking spaces not too far away without too much difficulty. It's close enough to town and the beach to walk - it's downhill going there but quite a steep incline/steps coming back again. There is a bus (from Weymouth to Portland) which stops not too far away, but we didn't utilise that option.

Only issue was on street parking especially if you have disabled members in your party.

Great accommodation well equipped and very comfortable.

Within an easy walk of the harbour, albeit uphill on the return. Car parking is on nearby streets and they can be very busy if returning late afternoon or early evening, however, we always managed to find a space within a couple of hundred yards of the property. Would definitely revisit this house.
