Stable End Cottage

A very clean and well designed cottage.

Lots of hot water in the showers and comfy beds. Enjoyed watching the cows wandering up and down the field, managed to spot a rabbit too. Burnby Hall Gardens very enjoyable never seen so many hungry fish. Breezy Knees gardens beautiful, lots to see. Enjoyed The Yorkshire Air Museum just 10 minutes away. Lovely accomodation very clean with everything you could want, nice view across fields with cows grazing also very easy to go into York as park and ride is only a short distance from accomodation that drops off in centre.

The cottage is beautifully furnished and very well equipped.

The bathroom amenities were also very welcome. The owners have thought of everything and it was immaculate. We would throughly recommend it!

We had a very nice stay at Stable End Cottage.

The property was very comfortable and stylish, with everything you could possibly need . (Even treats! plus fresh milk on arrival.☺️) The accommodation was extremely clean! It is off the main road which made it easy to get to many places of interest in the surrounding areas.

Furnishings and facilities really were outstanding. A lovely welcome pack full of local produce was much appreciated. A superb property finished to the highest of standards. We will definitely return.

As soon as we arrived, we knew we had made the best choice.

The cottage is everything it was described to be and more. It was comfortable, cosy, and immaculately clean. It was lovely to wake up overlooking the field, and our children formed such a lovely bond with the cows. The cottage is equipped with everything you could need, making it feel just like a home from home. It's the perfect distance from York and the other beautiful villages in the area. We really didn't want to leave and will definitely be booking again.

Stable End Cottage exceeded our expectations.

It had everything we needed for a comfortable week's stay especially as the weather wasn't kind to us. The property was immaculate, not a speck of dust anywhere. Conveniently placed for the park and ride meant it was easy to visit the many attractions in York. We would class this property as 5 star and would highly recommend it.

Our second stay to be near family and new Grandson.

We rarely return to properties but this one is a gem. Modern, clean and warm, with everything you need. Visited Flamborough Head, well worth a visit. Our Son had a flying lesson nearby, which he loved. There is so much to do in this area and Stable End is a great base. Lovely and comfortable stay, have never seen a rental property with so much kitchen equipment before, everything we needed was there and more.

Great location for York Park and Ride and also for the coast. Entrance from the road can be easily missed, but you soon get the hang of it, the fact that is the only slight negative says a lot about how good this property is.

Stable End Cottage was brand new and we were very happy to be the first occupants.

The accommodation has been fully renovated to a very high standard, with everything provided for an enjoyable stay. It is a good base for York, Harrogate and nearby coastal region. Excellent off road parking area at the side of the cottage. Thank you for the welcome treats, very much appreciated after a long journey. We hope to return in the near future. Lyndon, Alison and Will.
