You'll rarely find yourselves with little do to, as there are a huge number of attractions and sights resting within easy reach, such as the marvellous Hayling Island, the Isle of Wight, Southampton, Bognor Regis and the surrounding National Parks; just to name a few!

The accommodation was great.

The owner was great. The communication I had with you was very unacceptable. Trying to use the WhatsApp messaging was very poor. Very unresponsive. Frankly the worst I have ever have and we are renting 5-6 times a year in England. Lack of ability to get hold of anyone by phone (tried 3 times unsuccessfully) was very frustrating. Eventually I had my sister in England do that. That definitely needs to be improved. Overall, great location due to the accommodation but a very poor experience dealing with you. Please ensure this is published as others will need to know this before booking with you.

The location of this house is exceptional as it is close to all amenities and has the most amazing views over the entrance to Portsmouth harbour.

We spent a lot of time relaxing in the living room or on the roof terrace watching the ships enter and leave the harbour - sometimes with a glass of wine in our hands!! The accommodation is on 4 floors so you need to be able to climb stairs several times a day. The house was very clean and well equipped with a modern kitchen and bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Our communication with Anna before and during our visit was excellent. On Anna's suggestion we went on the Harbour Tour from the dockyard and were lucky to be there when the Queen Elizabeth air craft carrier was in port. We also visited the D day museum and the Naval Dockyard and walked long the walls to Southsea. There are many restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance. This was an ideal venue to meet up with old friends and we wished we could have stayed longer. Our abiding memory will be sitting on the roof terrace watching the moon rise over the water. We would thoroughly recommend this house and hope we will be able to return. Thank you Anna for letting us stay in your amazing house. Very best wishes Gill and Mike, Dave and Jenny, Tessa and Geoff

Anna, the owner, had some very helpful suggestions re eating, sightseeing, etc.

The property is in a fabulous location and you could spend all day watching the ships going in and out of the harbour. We were there in the heatwave so were grateful of the fans, it’s a property that gets the sun all day.
