Well situated for a holiday in the area, comfortable apartment and plenty of room to move around.

Lovely, well appointed accommodation.

It had pretty much all we needed and more. The equipment in the kitchen area was the best I have ever encountered in a self catering place. The property was easy to access with clear instructions and all appliance instruction leaflets present which helped re using cooker etc. 2 car spaces that were easy to use. Gate codes all worked and both lift and stairs to access the first floor property. Lift useful for luggage! Only drawback was the noise from the container shipyard opposite which was busy all day and night so not very restful when sitting out on the balcony + windows needed to kept closed to ensure a reasonable night's sleep. Fascinating to watch being loaded when awake though from the shoreline footpath.

We had a wonderful stay at 19 quayside apartment it was roomy,comfortable.

There was a nice walk along the docks.

Chris the owner contacted us prior to arrival and communication was good and friendly throughout our stay as needed. Please be aware that the location has some strict rules in terms of recycling times and parking,

Watching the container ships load and unload in Southampton Water was a real treat.

The lift was an added bonus for those who are less mobile! Great location for access to the New Forest and also to watch the ships coming and going on Southampton Water.

Property was ideally positioned for exploring the New Forest and surrounding towns and villages.

We would not fault the apartment in any way. Facilities were perfect for our requirements and the games available made it suitable for all age groups.

The property is well situated being close to the coast and New Forest.

The owner took the time to send emails regarding directions and keys. There was an issue with the heating but the owner was very responsive and guided us through how to resolve it. There were supplies of consumables and welcome gifts. This was our second stay and we noticed the view of the water and ships was reduced due to tree growth on neighbouring land which was disappointing. The apartment is very clean and well equipped.

We love this area and find the position of the apartment central to our needs. It is bright, airy and clean. The sunsets are spectacular.

Property on the whole was nice and clean just a few niggly bits Ashtray not emptied on balcony and rubbish left swept into corner Cobwebs in corners and on windows which could do with a clean !

Shower very small and awkward door to enter no non slip mat Shower and bath not able to run together as water goes cold Twin beds more suited to children than adults !

Home from home, secure, comfortable, close to family and the owners are wonderful too! We look forward to booking our next stay.

Lovely comfortable accommodation situated in a secure gated community.

Very peaceful site, particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife from the balcony and watching the ship movements in the busy harbour. Lots to see and do in the area so all in all this makes an excellent place to stay.

19 despite the very variable weather. A very comfortable and well equipped 1st floor apartment with the added bonus of a lift in the well-kept apartment block. Excellent location on the outskirts of the village of Marchwood, alongside the river Test/Southampton Water. Ideal base for exploring the New Forest area and the beautiful coastal area overlooking The Solent and the Isle of Wight. Very much hope to return again. Very helpful owners too.

A lovely, stylish comfortable flat, very well equipped.

Quick response when we needed another bed making up. Convenient location in the middle of the places we wanted to go to. Lots of interesting places within a short drive. We particularly liked Eling and the tide mill and Hythe even though the ferry to Southampton wasn't working. There was a very convenient bus into the centre. A very enjoyable holiday.

Lovely well appointed apartment.

Very clean. It was a little noisy due to upstairs apartment having new bathroom fitted but this is the downside to apartments. Welcome gifts Lovely and appreciated.Smart TV great. Only suggestions would be for a more comfortable sofa. It dips towards centre causing hips to be uneven and placing strain on back. Plus it would be nice to each have a hand towel and larger bath towels. However apart from these everything was super.

Very comfortable, clean & easy to maintain in an exclusive neighbourhood right on the shore of Southampton Water.

Very pleasant owners who were in touch before the visit and a neighbour who checked on us.

Quayside Walk is the ideal location for the New Forest and other attractions.

This was our 2nd visit this year. The apartment is well equipped and very light and airy with lovely views. Our only suggestion would be perhaps to replace the double bed with a 5ft one. This would make a much more comfortable nights sleep.

Bright, spacious, comfortable and well equipped apartment with a nice sized balcony where we sat and enjoyed watching the wildlife.

The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. Good location for New Forest, Lymington and beaches. Enjoyed walks along quayside, watching ships loading and unloading and seeing the cruise ships. We would definitely recommend this apartment and would like to return another year.

No complaints about the flat although could do with a shelf in the shower. A great place to stay with Southampon and Porstmouth so close. Used the Hythe ferry to get to the city what a great way to travel. Loved watching the container ships being loaded then leaving port. New Forest and Winchester close by so a fantastic base to explore Hampshire. Directions to property were excellant. Thank you so much would highly recommend this property.

Could do with bigger towels for showering.

A shower curtain and a wall mount for the shower in the ensuite would also be beneficial. Otherwise a great well equipped property. Thank you.

WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY, EVERYTHING WAS SPOTLESS, AND WELL MAINTAINED.

THE SHOWER WAS GREAT. WE LOVED WATCHING THE BIG SHIPS IN THE HABOUR AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Excellent apartment, extremely well-equipped, comfortable, clean, and spacious, plus the bonus of 2 parking spaces (as we were from 2 separate households).

Very good location for visits to various picturesque places. Pleasant riverside walks from the property, including watching the container ships loading/unloading on the other side of the estuary. Would definitely book again.

The apartment was lovely.

It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Having a lift was a bonus for taking cases up and down. I did find it a bit noisy at night due to the proximity to the Solent and the large container ships constantly being loaded. However, overall I would recommend it as being central to the New Forest, Southampton and many other places of interest.

A lack of nearby facilities I e shops and restaurants was the only disappointment.

Apartment was well set out,clean & comfortable. Would recommend this apartment as a location for the New Forest.

The accommodation was lovely and clean.

Although the kitchen was very well equipped, the 'sitting' area could benefit from being updated. The sofa was very uncomfortable, as are most soft beds, and the tv would be more beneficial if it was a smart tv, therefore allowing guests to watch on demand content.

Home from home accommodation in a great location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment, which is one of the best equipped self catering properties we have stayed at.

There were also some lovely touches such as some New Forest Tea and Shortbread plus milk in the fridge on our arrival and a selection of basic items for use such as oil, stock cubes, herbs etc which were really appreciated. The apartment is very light and airy, warm and well furnished. It was very quiet, we didn't hear anything from neighbouring apartments, with a secure parking area. The location is ideal for exploring the New Forest which is literally a 10 minute drive away. There is a lovely walk from the apartment along Southampton Water. We would thoroughly recommend this property and hope to stay again soon.
