My wife and I really did enjoy every day we spent at Barley Cottage it was very clean and tidy.

Being disabled I found it much easier to get around inside the Cottage as I need 2 sticks to walk. We would consider returning again next year but with my disabilities I need to think carefully about 2027. We could not fault this property and I think it’s one of the best places we have stayed in while holidaying with Sykes. It was very clean and tidy, yes we would seriously consider it for 2027. Regards Roger & Barbara Norman.

Barley cottage was up to Sykes usual high standard, attractive, roomy and in a pretty area in the countryside but easy travelling distance to delightful small towns and villages.

We would be happy stay there again.

Absolutely lovely place to stay with our young family.

Really clean, comfy beds and powerful shower. Had a large box of chocolates waiting for us when we got there - thank you! The bedding and towels were soft and of high quality, everything we needed was in the cupboards including washing detergent and an airer - came in very handy! Loved the peacocks and peachicks wandering past most days. Owners nice and friendly too. Winchester science museum is not far, we also had some great days out at Highcliffe Beach and Royal Victoria Park. As it’s very rural we did end up with a lot of insect bites so perhaps worth taking some treatment with you! Would happily stay again and would definitely recommend!
