Had a wonderful week here.

This property was outstanding, so quirky. Garden was wonderful, Toffee my cockapoo loved it. Walked to Bembridge, would recommend The Needles, Ventnor, botanic gardens and Osbourne House. Thank you very much. I hope to be back

Lovely home in a great location.

We arrived to a very nice welcome pack. Lots of space for 5 adults and 2 dogs, garden enclosed with great outside seating area. We were fortunate with weather and used outside space, garden room and kitchen areas most of the week. Just a couple of notes the floor in the ground floor bedroom dipped and anyone of less ability needs to be aware. Low headroom in the upstairs bedrooms, heads were bashed a few times! Plenty of kitchen equipment although some pans were past their life! Internet/Wi-Fi did not work despite trying both logins and TV was intermittent. Parking not suitable for two cars however plenty of spaces in the free car park nearby. Overall a lovely house/home would definitely like to stay again.

A well kept and impressive property we had a relaxing holiday enjoying the tranquil surrounding.

The off road parking was adequate but may be restrictive for larger vehicles. We were however slightly put off by the clutter which had been stored in the property. The owners however made us feel more than welcome and we appreciated the hamper of goodies left. An ideal holiday for doggy lovers, many thanks again.

A lovely house.

Very homely and welcoming. The garden was lovely but very overgrown with long grass. Not ideal for sitting outside. The smaller upstairs bedroom has a deep sloping ceiling which made it very awkward for my husband as he had to crawl along the bedside to get in it. The rest of the house was perfectly lovely. It was like a home from home and we all really enjoyed our stay. Regardless of the above , we would all book again.

A lovely place to stay, very homely and welcoming.

We were informed about the satellite TV signal being poor and think a bit of tree pruning would help but we were too busy being out and about for it to be a problem. Overall I would recommend this property as a great place to stay and see the Island.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Limes.

It’s one of the best holiday homes we’ve stayed in, well equipped, spacious and comfortable with a lovely garden. The drinks, biscuits and generous voucher for the local Deli provided by the owners helped to make us feel very welcome. It’s well located, overlooking the village green and only a minute’s walk from the cafe or the pub! There are more facilities, including an artisan baker, just up the road in Bembridge. We found it easy to get around the island from St Helen’s and we loved St Helen’s Duver beach, as did our furry boy! We would definitely stay again when we next return to the island.

There was everything that we needed for our holiday stay. Thank you for the welcome pack and gift voucher for No. 8 cafe and farm shop in Bembridge. The house was delightful and the enclosed garden ideal for Kofi our Sheltie. We would definitely consider returning again.

Lovely homely property, close to the sea and other attractions on the island.

Very comfortable beds, we all slept very well and we especially enjoyed sitting in the sun area off the kitchen watching the birds in the garden.

We were 2 couples and a small dog and we stayed for 1 week at the Limes.

We had a fantastic time and the Limes was an exceptional property! The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious and the cottage was one of the best equipped we have ever stayed in, even down to the spices available in the kitchen. The owners very generously left milk and wine in the fridge, coffee and tea, and a £0 voucher for a fabulous local fruit and vegetable shop which was much appreciated. We had gorgeous weather all week, cold but no rain and we took advantage of the many walks available on the island. thanks again for letting us rent your lovely cottage, we thoroughly recommend you to others.

Had a lovely relaxing time with every home comfort provided, including use of the owners’ piano, which was a welcome addition to play.

We did not use the upstairs rooms by choice, but found the downstairs facilities comprehensive with a comfortable double bed and bathroom with good shower. Easy and prompt communication with the owner over a hot water/heating issue which was resolved. Our two small dogs enjoyed the secure rear garden. The kitchen annexe sitting room was our favourite place to sit. Appreciated the useful welcome pack too. A home from home experience.

A lovely interesting and extremely well equipped property.

Loads of space and very comfortable, a real joy to spend time there - thank you for making our short break great !

Great place to stay , comfortable , ideal location due to us having relatives both in Seaview and Bembridge , definitely recommend this cottage to stay , lively welcome pack too, didn’t realise straight away but the wine was called Ned , and that is the name of our dog

Absolutely lovely house, felt like a home from home, everything we needed.

Ian was very friendly, helpful and always available when needed. Loved the kitchen - The Location was perfect, we only wish we could have stayed another month!!

The Limes is truly a home from home, with all the comforts you need for a perfect stay.

It is perfectly situated on the green in St. Helen's to easily access the beaches at Bembridge and St. Helen's, which are a short drive away, and other local attractions. The welcome pack was most welcome and very generous, including tea, coffee & milk, which was helpful. Its location is peaceful and quiet, and The Vine pub being just a stroll away was perfect, be sure to book a table in advance! The information pack provided by the owner was also very informative. Thank you, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, hope to return soon!

Very comfortable, plenty of room for the 5 of us, delightful garden - location on St Helens green is fab, very generous welcome pack, comms with owners was excellent. Only suggestion might be to provide a bit more clear/empty space for visitors food storage in the kitchen, but we would definitely re-book The Limes.

Beautiful extended house in a wonderful location.

Pretty south facing garden with room to sit and enjoy the sun. Comfortable beds, plenty of space for 3 couples. Would happily book it again if we return to the Isle of Wight.

Not so much a holiday home, more a home from home.

A much loved home that provided us with everything we could possibly need. Very comfortable, very quiet and convenient location with walks from the door. The kitchen has every conceivable implement although it took some time to track everything down as so much to choose from. Secure garden for my friend's dog and a pleasant outlook from the garden room. The owners' artwork from their travels adds a quirky and interesting dimension to this home.

Really nice bungalow, only 2 of us and a dog so no need to use upstairs ( lovely though it was ) Lovely position by the green, we enjoyed some meals in the Vine pub at the top of the road and walks into Bembridge.

Garden fully secure for dogs. I would say any disabled person may find some hazards, loose rugs,steps indoors and out even on the ground floor.

A very comfortable and homely house.

We felt warmly welcomed and appreciated all the goodies left for us to enjoy. The kitchen was especially well equipped which was a benefit as I like to cook. There was a slight whiff in the fridge, which did look clean I might add, but smelt a little musty. Thank you for trusting us with your treasures- my daughter had a play on the piano and we enjoyed playing the resonating gong!

Matched the listing and expectations. We appreciated the little thoughtful touches such as the welcome pack and use of the fires. Would stay again.

Nice spot on the green.

Lovely walks close by. Quirky features such as the gong in the hall which I rang for breakfast (but I still had to get my own!!). Big kitchen and snug and welcome air con for cool air (it was hot on our stay). Secluded quite garden. And best of all a generous welcome pack from the hosts including a voucher to spend in a local shop. Thank you so much.

The property was very comfortable and well equipped, as well as fascinating with its delightfully quirky ornamentation.

The addition of an EV charger made life very easy for us, allowing us to explore the island without the worry of where we might find a charger. The owner's communication was superb and the welcoming goodies was a lovely touch. A big thank you to the owner for a wonderful stay. We would happily stay there again.
