What guests are saying
Nice cottage in a very quiet area, right on the edge of a large village.
We did have a few issues while we were there, firstly we couldn’t get the TV to work on the sky box, so had no free view for the entire holiday, then some of the doors were sticking, so quite loud to shut and then difficult to open, they might need a plane down. The front garden was quite overgrown and messy and there was a small tree growing over the kitchen window. A thing that we would have found helpful was an outside light in the back garden, as we couldn’t see the dogs at night, only had my torch on my phone. We did have a lovely holiday here, the house was very well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The furniture was a bit low for my elderly parents, but they did manage it eventually!! All in all, a very nice stay, weather was fantastic and a lot of exploring done.
The holiday home was very spacious and provided everything we needed.
Myself and my Sister treated our parents , who are in their 80’s, to a week’s break and the location was perfect as a base. We also took our dogs. The beach was a few minutes walk away making dog walking thoroughly enjoyable with great views of the channel and the Solent. We did have an issue with the hot water which was resolved by a local engineer within a few hours of reporting it. In summary, a great place to stay for a self catering holiday on the island.
This property exceeded our expectations, spacious and comfortable with parking and a large sunny garden, situated in a lovely quiet residential area with food shops and a lively pub/restaurant by the beach, all within walking distance.
Lots of things to do on the IOW we really enjoyed our stay.
