Our fourth stay in this amazing place It’s a lovely cottage in a wonderful location perfect for getting anywhere on the Island.

It’s very well equipped and very clean and Jenny the host is always welcoming.

Jenny Downer was very helpful, and the property very clean, lovely setting great views you don't have to travel very far for shops or places to eat.

The drive around the Coast was great all within a short distance from the property. Ten out of Ten for a great Holiday and very relaxing. The welcome basket was lovely.

The Old Dairy was a wonderful cottage, it had everything you could think of.

Jenny the owner was very welcoming with a lovely welcome basket on arrival. My dogs loved the big gardens, it was very tidy. The beds were lovely and comfortable and the walk in shower was brilliant.

My stay was faultless and everything worked as it should do in The Old Dairy.

The premises were clean and tidy with plenty of ground space for lounging around the garden if you so wished. One thing I noticed was that map listing on the Sykes website is not correct, and it is when you make final payment that the true location is revealed. It's not a major issue as they are very close together.

Amazing place to stay.

Fabulous facilities, lovely welcome hamper and efficient and friendly host. Nothing was too much trouble and when the water had to be turned off for an hour, we were given a large jug of ice filtered water. Couldn't have hoped for a better place to stay, best holiday cottage we've ever stayed in.

Such a lovely property and in a beautiful location, all you need from a holiday cottage and so well equipped and thought out.

The owner who lives on sight couldn't have been kinder or more helpful which made it a really special holiday for us.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the island - ideal if you want a peaceful countryside retreat.

The pretty cottage was very well equiped, very clean and comfortable with plenty of dedicated outdoor space for our dogs to run about. Jenny, the owner, was the perfect host and welcomed us with a basket of goodies. After spending our days exploring the island, it was great to come back to the cottage and relax on the patio with a glass of wine! If you are looking to stay on the Isle of Wight, particularly with doggies, I can highly recommend The Old Dairy.

The Old Dairy is very well equipped accommodation in a quiet and peaceful rural location.

The host is friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The garden is a lovely size allowing our Springer Spaniel to have a good run and there is ample parking space. There are many walks a short distance from the property and an abundance of wildlife to watch. This was our first visit to the Old Dairy and we found it extremely comfortable and a very relaxing place to be.

Ruby our cockerpoo loves it there . Jenny was very friendly and helpful and gave us a lovely welcome basket of food.

Excellent place to stay, Jenny is so welcoming, the cottage has all you could wish for and more, we have 2 standard poodles plenty of room for them, looking at going back later in the year

This was a lovely cottage, central in the island so not far from everywhere we wanted to go.

Nothing to fault this cottage is perfectly situated in beautiful countryside but still easy to get around from .

Very homely and with friendly onsite owner but the cottage is separate with own access. Great walks for dogs five minutes up a quiet lane with hardly any traffic as only leads to another farmhouse . The Isle of Wight is so dog friendly for visiting pubs and craft shops

We have been with Sykes for many years and this cottage is one of the best that we have stayed in.

It is comfortable, well-appointed and in a perfect position for looking around the Isle of Wight. Jenny gave us a very generous welcome basket and was helpful if needed.

My wife & i have just got back from The Old Dairy having just spent a week there.

Being central on the island made it easy to travel to any location within 30 minutes by car. If you want peace & quiet in the countryside this is the ideal place, if you like cycling there are plenty of cycle paths nearby & also alot of outside space for your dog as well. Thoroughly Recommended

We had a lovely relaxing stay at the Old Dairy.

Lovely property... fantastic location. Ideal for our 2 dogs. The local walks were stunning and so much wild life to see and we actually spotted a red squirrel.. Our plan was never to do the tourist thing and we stayed close to the cottage to chill and relax and we would have been a tad happier if the owner had provided more outdoor facilities such as a table and chairs for outdoor dining and a couple of comfy sun loungers to soak up the gorgeous weather we were lucky to have. Wifi was also a bit iffy for our needs. 2 small gripes but we would come again.

Lovely location and roomy cottage.

Jenny the owner could not be more helpful. She kindly allowed me to top up the EV from the mains with a payment for electricity, and the car could be parked near the door.

This cottage is in a lovely location with lots of walks in the area.

Garden is excellent for doggies with plenty of room for them to play. Comfortable cottage with everything you need for your stay. Easy access to all tourist areas although did find some of the road signs confusing.

Plenty of dog walking nearby and yet only 20 minutes drive from all the major island attractions.

The location was perfect, out dog love chasing his ball in the larg garden.

Jenny our host was lovely and made us feel very welcomed. If you want a peaceful holiday with out the stress of modern life, you will find the Dairy the perfect place.

A very comfortable cottage in a great location, surrounded by lovely countryside in the centre of the island, so easy to reach all areas.

Jenny was very welcoming and helpful. The cottage was very dog-friendly, but perhaps worth noting that the lovely large garden is not dog secure - ours is addicted to pheasants and would have been off if not kept on a long leash.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet at this property.

We were able to enjoy the remote setting and observe lots of wild life. The owner was very helpful at all times and we were pleased to meet her. Would not hesitate to recommend this lovely place.

Location was perfect for exploring the Isle of Wight and also the accommodation was great for both of us and the dog the only negative was that there were twin beds and not a double but that's a preference really and it had no impact on our break away.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting.

The owner was very welcoming and available if needed. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and well equipped, and the welcome basket even had treats for our mini Dachshund. The whole island is very accessible from this setting, and we had a lovely time, walking on the beaches. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay at The Old Dairy and I'm sure that it won't be our last.

The location is excellent for visiting all parts of the island, and Jenny cannot do enough for you. We were her first visitors after the lockdown and on our second day we realised that there was a fault with the oven, meaning that we were unable to use it. Even though it was a Sunday Jenny and her partner managed to source and fit a new oven in time for our dinner in the evening!

The cottage was very comfortable and very well equipped with practically everything you might need.

It was in a peaceful area of the island with plenty of walks for yourself or with a pet and not far to reach the coasts or facilities. The host was lovely, obviously very hard working and nothing was too much. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend The Old Dairy cottage which had an expanse of lawn surrounding it and was attached to the owners premises but her property was behind the holiday cottage so it felt like a detached cottage but she was close by if needed. Thank you Jenny had a lovely time.

Our Host Jenny, she just left us to do how we would have done if we was in our house at home, which in our minds, was really comforting.

Can not thank her hospitality as more than Jenny being part of our family.

Very nice cottage in perfect, and I mean perfect!

!! Quietest location ever stayed in Didn't realise there were so many stars in the sky without light pollution! Biggest noise was the croak of pheasants, loads moving around. Lovely owner for whom nothing was too much trouble Already booked a week for next Summer at ODC!

The cottage was exceptionally well equipped.

The Welcome basket was very welcome. The beds comfy, the sofa squishy, and the location so peaceful. After a day out and about, it felt like coming home. First rate in every way, and Jenny, the owner, is lovely too.

Very nice cottage in marvellous location.

Ideal for lively dogs as there are lots of footpaths directly outside the cottage. We were lucky to be there on one of the hottest weeks of the year There is so much to see and do on the island we were out every day with the dog. Small niggles which are meant to be constructive - I would have expected a double bed but there were two singles; shower pressure was very low - a power-shower would have been welcome after a day’s walking, and WiFi only accessible in the sitting room (a cheap extender would fix that). None of these minor points would stop me returning nor highly recommending this property. The owner is a very nice and approachable lady - Thank you Jenny!

The owner Jenny Downer, went out of her way to make our stay the most comfortable and pleasuresable, oh and the most memorable stay we have ever had on the Isle of Wight, all the time we have been going on and off since 1984.

We shall be booking The Old Dairy again next year, once again I can not emphasise your part in this and the Owner of the cottage and to be honest, we will not stop anywhere else on the Island except The Old Dairy.

Ideally set in the middle of the isle of Wight, but with the feeling of being in the middle of no where.
