Description
Wildlife Haven is a charming retreat nestled in the vibrant town of Margate, Kent, just a short stroll from the coast and beach. With convenient roadside parking and proximity to local shops and pubs, this delightful house is perfect for families, friends and couples seeking a seaside escape.
Upon entering the property, you'll be greeted by a spacious lounge with a large TV, electric log effect fire, and plenty of comfy seating. Follow through the hallway to a colourful, spacious dining room with original features and a beautiful chandelier over the table. This leads into the lovely bright and airy conservatory overlooking the garden, with an additional dining table and seating, ideal for enjoying meals with a view of the garden.
Further into the property, a light-filled conservatory offers additional dining seating, ideal for enjoying meals with a view of the garden. Further along is the light and spacious kitchen fully equipped for all your culinary needs. Also with a small table to share a cuppa at breakfast. There is a utility room next to the kitchen with a washing machine to take care of your washing. Next to this is a WC which completes the ground floor.
Upstairs, you'll find four well-presented bedrooms, each offering a peaceful space to rest after a day of exploration. The first is a relaxing king-size room with an en-suite shower room, followed by two neatly presented double rooms. The final bedroom is a twin, perfect for children or friends sharing. The family bathroom is fitted with a bath and a walk-in shower, providing a choice of how to prepare for each day.
Outside, the garden has a patio area with plenty of furniture and a sunshade umbrella, great for eating and drinking in the garden on a sunny day. There is also a wicker lounger further up the garden with another table and extra garden chairs. There's a small wildlife pond at the bottom of the garden which is fenced off with 2 gates. The smaller gate will be padlocked and the bigger gate has a wooden latch high up out of young children's reach. This is a nice place to sit and relax and enjoy watching out for dragonflies, frogs and listening to the birds, or just wind down after a busy day exploring.
Spend a day unraveling the charm of Margate; this property is only a short walk from Cliftonville High Street, where there is an abundance of individual small shops, cafes, and a Tesco for all of your essentials. Guests can explore Margate Old Town, as well as the Turner Art Gallery, and the lovely Margate Beach, and there are plenty more beaches around the local area. Take a trip to the iconic sandy Botany Bay beach perfect for sun-seekers, or entertain the little ones at Dreamland Amusement which also hosts many well-known individuals and groups in the evening, plus it has music festivals all year round! Similarly, The Marlow Theatre in Canterbury is a lovely place to catch a show or even pantomimes in the festive season. Discover the depths of Margate Caves and after a day of exploring, refuel at The Dalby Café or Café de China offering mouth-watering dishes. Venturing further afield, the picturesque towns of Westgate-on-Sea and Broadstairs are within easy reach, filled with quaint streets, ample attractions, and an enchanting coastline. Choose Wildlife Haven as your base for a memorable coastal retreat brimming with exploration.

Had a great week here, the best holiday rental we have stayed in!
Spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The garden is amazing for nature lovers, we saw lots of birds, insects and even a fox paid a visit in the evenings Perfect base for visiting Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Herne bay and Whitstable, lots to see and do. Can't recommend it enough, you will love it!
Wildlife Haven is exactly what it says.
The house is beautiful with an abundance of wildlife in the garden, including a dear little fox. It is stocked with everything you could need and is beautifully decorated. I would 100% recommend.
We had a lovely time from 18 months to 77 years old.
The weather was amazing of course! It is a very spacious property and everybody had their favourite places to hang out. The bedrooms had plenty of storage and the layout suited our party. Angela kindly provided a cot, high chair and stair gate. The garden is great and has lots of different areas that was looking rather parched when we left
