Excellent location - close to everywhere in Rye.

Exceptionally clean house with well-equipped kitchen and comfy sofas in lounge. Handrail along stairs to first floor made for easy access for anyone with mobility issues. Recommend highly. Beds in twin a bit short - not for taller persons. Window difficult to open. Master double only for those who like a very firm mattress.

Exceptional cleanliness, brilliant location,little noise from pub next door but did not spoil our holiday because we expected it,would definitely book again ,thankyou ,also if you have disabled badge you can park anywhere as long as your not causing an obstruction, immaterial of usual parking restrictions

A really comfortable, clean and well equipped holiday home.

Lots of helpful information leaflets available in the property, together with books, DVDs and games for wet days. Ideally placed for exploring Rye and surrounding areas. Definitely a holiday home to recommend. It might be useful to mention that there are no shaver sockets in the bathrooms, so people can pack a plug if necessary.

Honestly couldn't have been happier with staying at this accommodation.

It was perfectly set up for multiple occupants and had everything we needed as a family. The location was more or less waking distance to everything you could need. Communication with the owner was great too. Very happy and if we're ever back we now have the perfect place to set up our base of operations! Thank you!

Rye House is a great place to stay!

It is spotlessly clean, comfortable, well equipped and perfectly situated to explore Rye and the surrounding area. I would highly recommend.

We had a amazing time this Christmas.

On arrival we had trouble with the key safe also on departure. I do have one at home but it is so easy to operate. The owner left some Christmas goodies and essentials which was so kind. The cottage had every single thing it could have. The owner thought of everything. It is very central to everything and Rye is a lovely place to visit.

The house was excellent, very very clean and well furnished.

It had every we needed and lots of information about places to visit, eat etc locally. The location was superb for all amenities in Rye and to have private off road parking a luxury! Would recommend it to anyone.

The property is ideally situated in the middle of Rye , in walking distance of shops, restaurants and all amenities . Having its own car par park space is great. The only slight downside is the noise from the pub but that isn't every night.

A must if you’re in Rye. Nice cafes walking distance away from property and camber sands beach a few miles away. Perfect for a little break, and parking just outside made it even easy. Brilliant 5*

Great location, comfortable and really well-equipped house.

The house is warm, and surprisingly spacious, especially the bedrooms. We had a long stay there that included Christmas, and we really appreciated the Christmas tree and trimmings supplied. The house is very clean and well-maintained. Thoroughly recommended.

Very well equipped - probably the best I have rented. It was also spotlessly clean. Really good contact with the owner. If I visit Rye again I would definitely book again.

Had a lovely stay, Very clean, great location, It was like going from home to home, Only issue we had was the en suit shower was slow other then we couldn't off got better will hopefully book again for next year if it's available

The host was very communicative and kind. The information packs, books and games were really wonderful for a family stay. The kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery were top really top quality which was a welcome change to other experiences! A massive thank you for having us and we hope to visit again soon!

The property is very near to the station less than 10 mins walking . Very near to all the shops and to a supermarket . Communication with the owner was very good , there is a pub behind this property and we only heard some noise Saturday night but because we were there in the summer , I'm sure cooler months will be quieter. We had a lovely holiday at rye house .

House was ideally situated for exploring the area.

It had everything that you needed for a great stay. The owner’s email with useful details was very informative. Parking outside the front door was a bonus. Rye itself was a lovely ancient town, with a supermarket and plenty of places to eat out. So many national trust properties and the beautiful Rye Nature Reserve all a short drive away.

Just loved staying here.

The house is in a fabulous location, within easy walking distance to the train station, supermarket, shops and river. It was super clean and had all the comforts of home. We were there at Christmas and were delighted that they'd gone to the trouble of putting up a tree and supplying festive treats, including crackers, napkins and festive placemats. Hope to be back!

My family and I stayed at Rye House for Rye Fawkes weekend.

The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well equipped. It's in a fabulous location too - just a couple of minutes' walk from the train station and supermarket and right next door to the Pipemakers Arms! It was perfect for Rye Fawkes as the procession came right past the house. It also has a private parking space which is quite rare in Rye. I highly recommend this property.

A Lovey property.

Practical for us, clean and bright and a lovely touch with the owner leaving wine and biscuits with several condiments in the cupboard. In addition, a lovely welcome card was presented with a suggestion of stargazing. ☺️ The car parking space is also a great asset… and the cottage is located with very easy access to the main streets of Rye. Would highly recommend

There had apparently been a slight issue with the immediately preceding occupants, but we were advised of this very promptly and it didn't affect our stay at all.

This was a very comfortable well equipped cottage ideally located for exploring the town.

Although there was easy parking, you did not need to use the car around Rye. And, an added bonus was being able to get our daily newspaper just a 3 minute walk away. The owners provided excellent information about the cottage and very useful information about the town and its facilities. Highly recommended.

Rye House is situated in the heart of Rye and surrounded by lovely shops pubs and restaurants.

We could walk everywhere and didn't need to use the car at all. The house is very comfortable and well equipped ideal for a group of friends or a family.

The property was ideal for our break - it was clean, comfortable, warm and well equipped. The on-site parking was an added bonus. The propery's location was ideal for exploring and enjoying the lovely town of Rye and the surrounding area and villages.

) right in the centre of Rye. Really well equipped accommodation, very comfortable.

For eating out book restaurants at least the day B4 to get the time that you want this is because of covid 19.

Rye House is a lovely and comfortable house, home from home.

The twin room ideal for children. It is situated very close to the town, bars and restaurants. No back garden. But a lovely place to sit and enjoy the estuary and boats a few hundred meters away. Would love to go back to the house again.

We had a lovely week at Rye Cottage, it is the perfect place to stay in Rye.

The location is superb. Everything was clean and convenient, even with Covid restrictions meaning some home comforts could not be provided. We would book again.

Rye House was very clean and tidy and ideally situated near the town centre for our short break where everything was accessible without the need to drive, the owner was very helpful and informative and the welcome pack on our arrival was much appreciated, Thank you.

The house is very well located, 5 minutes walk from the supermarket and easy access to the old town. For our party of 5, it was well equipped and not too noisy. The parking space was a useful bonus. All in all thoroughly recommended.

Great location so close to all that Rye has to offer. The host provided good information and left a welcome supply of milk, biscuits, wine and a welcome card. We would recommend this house etc to there’s - good for couples, friends and families.

Back door step is very high.

Mum could not manage it.

We didn't have wifi for 5 days .

The problem was down to the internet provider not the owners, thay were as quick as they could to fix the problem and always informed me of the current situation. Need more information on that you need to take the bin out , didn't know I could open the windows in the loft/roof that needs explaining more. Everything else was beyond my expertation for the price of this fantastic house in the town of Rye.

We had a most comfortable stay at Rye House.

Everything had been provided including some wine, milk and cookies. The property is scrupulously clean and perfectly situated to enjoy Rye on foot; we had a wonderful holiday and we would highly recommend it. The only things to be aware of is that it can be intermittently noisy if you like to have the windows open at nighttime.

The whole experience was brilliant.

The booking was easy. The owner of the property e-mailed all instructions needed and supplied lots of information for us. The house was exactly as stated, also very clean and comfortable with a welcome present of biscuits and wine. We couldn't have asked for better.

We appreciated the little touches upon our arrival, as well as the opportunity to arrive earlier in the day. A big plus, considering the location really in town is the attached parking lot, large enough for a large family car. We were not at all bothered by the noise, given the proximity of the pub.   in short, I think we'll come back next year

What a wonderful welcome awaited us at Rye House when we arrived for our Christmas holiday.

Not only was there a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, but a lovely welcome pack with all sorts of goodies. The house was so comfy, warm and welcoming, and far more spacious than we were expecting. The kitchen was the best equipped I have ever seen, but it was also all the thoughtful little details that made it such a lovely place to stay, like the miniature models on the light pulls. The high street of Rye is very close by, and is utterly charming to explore. Favourite memory is being by the church with bells ringing and lights twinkling as darkness fell on Christmas eve. We also enjoyed being able to go for lengthy walks on the beaches, despite the time of year - getting plenty of fresh air. There was lots more we could have done, so I would definitely go again to continue exploring the area further. A fabulous place to stay at this time of year, we were sorry to leave!

We could not fault the cottage.

It was immaculate and suited our needs perfectly. The location is ideal for the centre of town and the off street parking was essential for the bonfire weekend.

Great position in Rye.

The house was spotless and the facilities were great. The only thing that we could find wrong which we were warned about was the Pub behind the house which was noisy on Friday and Saturday nights but only really affected the back bedroom. Otherwise perfect.

Cottage easy to find, information given was excellent. Central location. The locals were very friendly especially in the Pipemakers Arms, the pub next door. Rye is a lovely friendly destination.

Fantastic position in the centre of Rye. The pub next door,added to our experience because even though there was loud music & live band playing, it was our kind of music so we could sing along. We wouldn't hesitate in booking again,in fact we can't wait !!

The accommodation would have been perfect in every way but it was let down badly by the pub next door.

Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights there was very loud music and people noise until the early hours. Saturday especially as there was live music until 1.00am but noise continued until 2.30am. The ensuite room was the quietest but the other two bedrooms suffered badly. A big shame as an otherwise perfect location and property.

Perfect weather made our stay wonderful and relaxing. The owner ensured everything was in place to ensure a stress free holiday.

If there is self-catering in Heaven, this house will be there.

The house was perfect for our purposes: it accommodated six people from three generations without any strain (three toilets helped), was well-equipped, comfortable and clean.

The location was within short walking distance of Rye's main attractions.
