The hosts are super friendly, and helpful.

The bungalow is clean, comfortable and cosy. Lots of pots and pans as well as crockery and cutlery to make a decent meal. Both bedrooms are large, beds are comfy, with plenty of wardrobe space and hangers. Nice shower room, with separate toilet. Near to lots of places to visit, we went to Quex Park twice, Ashford outlet not far, lunch on the river Medway in Maidstone Co Op a couple of minutes away, I got a Sainsburys order, but in fairness everything I wated I could of got there. There is a water filter for filtered water, if I'd of known I wouldn't of ordered 10 litres

Excellent really clean and well cared for bungalow.

Even in our hottest weather the house had plenty of cool spots.

This is a lovely property with everything you need to make it a very enjoyable stay.

Everything is clean and spacious, the bed is extremely comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped, the TV room has two luxurious sofas. We cannot praise this property enough and will certainly be returning.

Everything about it is of a high standard. It is ideally located for visiting anywhere in the north of the county and further afield. There is also a local Co-op within a five minute walk for every day needs. It was a pleasure to stay here and we would return.

This was a lovely place to stay.

It tick nearly all the boxes for a wonderful stay. The bungalow was just what we needed. The only thing I would have changed is the double bed. Both myself and my husband have bad backs so really it's not anyone's fault that we need something a bit harder. However the 2single beds were just right. So good in fact I wanted to take mine home. The people who own the accommodation were really lovely and we will be going back next year.

Very large main bedroom and conservatory; other rooms quite small. Very quiet and good sleep quality. You need a car get around, as buses to this suburb only run hourly. But very easy to park near Whitstable town centre for buses to Canterbury every 15 minutes, and trains to Rochester, Chatham Docks, etc

Echo Beach is very beautiful, well kept and well equipped cottage in a very quiet area. It has very easy and quick access to many places of interest. We were made to feel very welcome; it was clear careful thought and care goes into setting up Echo Beach for holiday use. We had what we needed; home from home and more!!

We enjoyed it so much the first time that we thought it would be lovely to spend Christmas there. We were not disappointed. Once again a very warm welcome from the owners. Some very nice touches to make our Christmas. A very highly recommended place to stay. We did not have our own transport but only five minute walk to the bus stop. This will get you out and about to many places. Una.

The owners are great hosts, and very helpful. The property is ideally located for trips to the beach , or Shopping in Canterbury. The local co op is close for papers and shopping.

Echo Beach was everything we had hoped for.

It was very clean and comfortable. Always lovely hot water and central heating which made it very snug. Two comfortable reclining leather settees and very comfortable beds with nice bedding. The kitchen is very well appointed with nice quality pots and pans. There was everything we needed. A lovely bright conservatory where we enjoyed our morning coffee with our friends. We would definitely stay at Echo Beach again if we return to Whitstable.

Short drive into Whitstable. Everything we needed we found in the bungalow. We will return to this bungalow in the future.

We keep returning to this lovely bungalow because it is so comfortable, well-equipped and conveniently situated, particularly for trips to Canterbury, Whitstable and the North Kent coast.

Last minute decision to go away.

Straight to Sykes as no time to wait and with the knowledge that a Sykes Cottage is reliable and does what it says on the tin!!! The 5 nights we had at Echo Beach near Whitstable was brilliant. Thank you Sykes Cottages. Joe and Grace Elliott

great bungalow this is one of the we have used Sykes for many years oer 10 and would say this is perfect owners were very helpful nice to have a private garden could set in here no noise would return loverly here if comg back to Whitsable hope to see again

Always stay in properties booked through Sykes cottages and have to say this is the best equipped one we have stayed in.

Bungalow had everything you need and more, ice packs for cool bag and 2 picnic chairs even tablets for the dishwasher. Fresh flowers, a tea tray with biscuits and milk in the fridge on arrival. We did have a problem getting the water to stay at a constant temperature in the shower though so don’t know if we were doing something wrong.

We came back to Echo Beach for our 7th holiday as it is so clean, well-equipped, quiet and comfortable.

Really well situated for Whitstable, Canterbury and the north Kent coast.

Overall the bungalow was lovely, but there are few small things that I feel need addressing.

The radiator in the living room was very small, and the room cooled down really quickly once the heating went off, the bathroom could do with an extractor fan, and a small radiator in the toilet would be good too :). Everything thing else was brilliant and the owners were very kind, allowing us entry to the property a bit early, as we were exhausted after a 41/2 hour journey.

Bungalow was extremely clean and neat.

Everything was there that we needed. Great situation for good coastal walks and visits to nearby towns. Two pub/restaurants within walking distance. Appreciated the recommendations of other restaurants in the area. 9 o clock check out was a bit too early. Although write up stated parking was on the road it was disappointing that there was a double drive at rear of bungalow that we could not use.

Echo Beach was welcoming and very well presented.

It is spacious, warm, (ours was a Winter stay) and comfortable with all the facilities needed. Big beds, reclining sofas, power shower, well equipped kitchen, and good Wi-Fi. A quiet cul de sac with easy parking, close to local amenities and within easy reach of all major routes to explore Kent.

The bungalow is situated in a very quiet residential road. So peaceful. We had no transport of our own but managed to get to a different place every day on local buses. Would have been nice if the vacate time had been slightly later say 10:00am, so not such a rush and early morning rise to meet the current 9:00am departure time.

Upon arrival at echo beach we found the accommodation to be magnificent, exceeding our expectations.

Lovely bungalow in a very nice, quiet, clean location. Friendly owners who live just next door, every need is catered for, they seem to have thought of everything! The welcome refreshments, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were very much appreciated, just what you need after a long journey! Reclining sofas very comfortable, good size well equipped kitchen and the conservatory is a lovely spot to relax in the mornings and evenings. Would have no hesitation on visiting again and would highly recommend and is an ideal location for exploring this part of Kent.

Each Beach is a larger than average two bed bungalow with a lovely southwesterly facing back garden and a good size conservatory.

The property is well maintained and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, a real home from home and in a quiet location. The owners are lovely and live next door, which was handy if we needed anything, but we didn’t. The bus stop is located nearby, but we tended to walk into Whitstable, which was a 20 minute walk. Take up the landlord’s advice on the eateries. If you are a goody like us, The Dove, The Sportman, Cockle and Winkle, Samphire and Bubble where all fabulous, but book well in advance of your holiday if you can. Great beaches at Tankerton and Joss Bay too. The property location is great and I will definitely be visiting this bungalow again.

The property was faultless.

Incredibly clean, tidy and very well equipped. The owners were not intrusive but were only next door if required. The location was quiet and peaceful but not too far from Whitstable. (Easy walking distance) We have absolutely no hesitation in strongly recommending this property.

Felt like a home from home as soon as we entered this great cottage everything you could need for a great base to explore Kent and the surrounding areas very quiet, had a sunny and warm first four days but end of week a bit chilly and wet but that didn’t spoil our enjoyment or comfort would recommend this cottage in a heartbeat to anyone wanting a great place to stay, Mr and Mrs Ferguson thanks for a great place that does you proud.

We were naturally concerned about renting post Covid but have to say that we have never stayed in a property that was so thoroughly cleaned everywhere and our concerns were immediately put at rest, and so we must thank the owners Trudy and David for their diligence.

Echo Beach was fully equipped with everything that we could possibly need .. but it was obvious from the start that this was no ordinary rental property, for example where else could you luxuriate in reclining sofas whilst watch TV at the touch of a button? We particularly enjoyed the large bright conservatory with comfy chairs and spending time early in the day and on our return in the private garden which was not overlooked. All electrical and cooking items performed faultlessly, and we enjoyed Echo Beach for its convenient location with easy access to the beaches of Thanet and all local attractions .. all within an easy 20 minute drive. The choice of beaches was considerable, to suit all interests and expectations, and we particularly enjoyed visiting a number of them. In practical terms Echo Beach was very conveniently located, in a small estate made up of Cul-de-sacs, so only minimal road noise or traffic passing through. In respect of shopping the local Co-Op was less than a five minute walk, and a choice of supermarkets within easy reach, as well as fine dining pubs to suit all tastes and pockets. Finally Echo Beach was a ‘home from home’, like living in our home but somewhere different. A delightful property!

We didn’t go to the property because of the Coronavirus outbreak.

The description was spot on.

It was a home from home. Everything we needed and more. Clean and tidy.

The property is spacious but warm and cosy.

Lovely shower. Comfy bed. Very well equipped. It’s in a very quiet and peaceful area. Just a short walk to the local shop and pub. Had a lovely Sunday lunch in the pub and some delicious fish and chips from the local chippy. The beach is accessible down a short pathway and over a bridge just up from the pub. The beach was a bit disappointing though as it resemble mudflats. Easy walk to Whitstable via the beach path or main road.

This cottage is very comfortable, a real home from home experience, the owner was very nice.

Ideal location to visit surrounding areas, we had a car, but there is of plenty of buses for people who wish to leave car at property.

It’s the second year running now that we have returned to echo beach as we loved it so much the first time.

We had all the facilities that we needed the owners are very friendly too nothing is to much for them. There is so many places to see and do around there and the beach is just a 5 min walk away.

Echo Beach is situated in a nice quiet area, within easy walking distance to Whitstable.

Bungalow was spotless, comfortable and well equipped with an added bonus of a lovely conservatory and well kept small garden area with a patio to sit outside. Central to visit numerous places of interest, we visited Dover Castle, Chartwell House and Hever Castle but if we had more time could have visited more. Owners made us very welcome, if we made a return visit to Kent, Echo Beach would be the place for us, without question! Thank you.

We had a pleasant stay at Echo Beach in Seasalter.

Rooms are tastefully decorated, the main bed was comfortable, I found the sofas a little to soft and low and would have preferred a choice of a slightly higher and firmer alternative, but that's my personal taste. Kitchen was well stocked and bathroom was well appointed. Whitstable is a great little town and very accommodating in the off season, we had nice walks on the beaches and over the cliff tops around Thanet and saw a number of local attractions with the benefit of very few other people obscuring the views.

If I had to comment I would say the bed was a bid on the firm side.

Key instructions were easy. This is a spacious property in a quiet location. It is well-placed to get access the main attractions of Kent in under an hour. We were pleased to have chosen to stay here.

The welcome pack of tea, milk and biscuits was just what was needed after a long drive. The location was perfect for getting around Kent. Having the owners next door was very helpful when local knowledge was required. The walk down to the coast and into Whitstable was beautiful too. Nothing was too much for the owners, the property was truly home from home. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, Wi-Fi was great, the supply of DVD films and games the list is endless. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We would certainly recommend as you most definitely get a good nights sleep at Echo Beach.

The bungalow is very spacious comfortable. I would recommend that a floor fan is available as we found the bungalow very warm at night and being a coffee lover I would also recommend a cafetiere for that perfect cup of freshly ground coffee in the mornings. Apart from that a great property and a very warm welcome from the owners next door.
