We really loved staying here.

The house is exactly as you see it in the photos and had everything we needed. The log burner was an added bonus for us and we used it most evenings. We loved that it was a short walk from the town. The only thing that wasn't great was the ventilation in the en suite. The condensation from morning showers was still there in the evening, even with the fan on and window open. Over the course of the week it began to smell quite badly of damp and the towels and our toiletries were all damp when we left. Apart from that it was great!

The property was well situated for Ambleside.

The kitchen was equipped, the bedrooms comfortable and having the garage with tumble dryer handy. Garden to rear has furniture and fake grass and well planted up. The only negative was the amount of cobwebs on kitchen ceiling and dust on lamps in bedroom and under bed
