Our second visit to Pippin Cottage We love the location!

Spent more time in the cottage due to one of the party having a broken foot, and found it comfortable and nice to relax in. Love the proximity to Fitz Park. Kitchen well equipped (although does need salt and pepper in the mills!) Beds comfy, shower is fab. Few minor things need attention but didn’t spoil our holiday. We’ll be back!

We are already planning on a stay here next year, a few small points need some attention but I’m sure the owners already know that.

Location is excellent, and most of the property is built to high standards.

A few points to note: - It's more suited to vacationers than walkers in my view. The property lacks an entryway suitable for shoes and gears after walks, and it's tricky to manage if you are out hiking all day. - Some furniture and housewares need a little TLC. Pans need to be replaced in my view. An armchair had a broken leg. Just minor but a few of them (we also came at the end of the summer season). - The complete absence of salt and pepper (the mills were empty, and nothing else to be found) was a real let down (especially as you are mid-way in prepping dinner). This was a full star off the rating. - Owners need to relay to cleaning team to check everything: the oven pans stored in one of the cupboards were left greasy.
