Lots to do you’re close to Keswick. There’s a path way walk into Keswick as well we had a wonderful time. we are back for Christmas week and so looking forward to it,two pubs in the village and a coffee shop, there are buses that run to Keswick and to Kendall every half an hour through the village which is very useful if you do not want to use your car ,lovely place and very clean and quiet for a nice break away looking forward to the next time at Christmas.Thank you x

The cottage was absolutely beautiful.

Very clean and tidy. The shower was a bit difficult to work, as it was very hot. And took a while to work out how to make it cooler. Perhaps there could be some instructions for the shower. Also we noticed there was not any instructions for the dishwasher, as it took along to complete the program. Overall we had a lovely relaxing time. And recommend it to others and definitely come back again. It was very peaceful and had beautiful scenery.

Lovely old cottage in peacefully village with walks from the door.

Village pub good food and beer garden. Close to A66 for easy trips out around northern Lakes and Keswick very close. Couple of minor negatives. As we like fry up breakfast on holiday frying pans need replaced as non stick material worn away. Also instructions and information posted around the cottage perhaps a little to strong in tone and info such as this could just be in the information folder in the cottage? Minor comments I know but very happy stay.
