A beautiful property, well central right in Ambleside.

Cosy and warm and stocked with everything you would need. Definitely return next year.

This is a lovely cottage…lots of space, comfortable, well equipped, great location.

I have given it only 3 stars because there is clearly an ongoing problem with the toilet on the 1st floor, which needs to be dealt with. There was also no rubbish collection as expected on Thursday……this needs to be organised . However, none of this spoilt our holiday.

What a disaster!

! I felt so uncomfortable in this cottage. Dishwasher wasn't even emptied from previous stay. The beds in both bedrooms dirty with bedding full of short dark hairs. I could hardly sleep for three nights as I didn't even want to get into that filthy bed with filthy bedding. It wasn't near as cozy as it seems in the pictures. I couldn't wait to finish my stay in this place. The audacity of charging all this money to offer a place that it's so dirty from previous stay. You can tell they don't clean or hoover as items of previous stay were found under chair in living room. To top it all up, they house wasn't sound proof at all and you could hear all the noises from the pub down the road as well as the near by neighbours. Find somewhere else to stay!
