Linwood

Not a good first impression !

The outside of Linwood is unkempt, weeds growing in the gutters, weedy driveway, conservatory gutters leaking and in need of a wash. Inside of the property the kitchen bins were dirty, remnents of food left in the sink, dog hairs on both doormats, mouldy door seal on the washing machine. Upstairs the bathroom bins had used sanitary towels and other rubbish in them. The shower mat and curtain were mouldy. The bedrooms smelt strongly of dogs. The lions and other ornaments were covered in a thick layer of dust. The owner was quick to respond and bought a new shower mat and curtain. This is a lovely house but it needs some attention and a deep clean. The welcome pack was very generous. We had fun watching the rats playing in the garden. I would not reccomend this property.

A wonderful house in a stunning location which had everything we could want and more.

The attention to detail was second to none and the super comfortable beds made our stay even more relaxing. The welcome pack on arrival was an added bonus and Bruce was extremely amenable and helpful when we arrived. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

The house is very well appointed and presented.

Quality and cleanliness of beds and furnishings is obviously very important to the owners. Bruce was very helpful with a couple of queries and kept the hot tub in pristine condition.

Beautiful house plenty space in every room , garden is secure for pets , we got lucky with the weather but still tried the hot tub which was fantastic. Highly recommended.

! Property is amazing . Everything you need and more . Very stylish an plenty room for everyone . Garden very established an hot tub lovely . House an gardens very clean . The owners go above and beyond with all the little extras . One of the nicest true to the word propertys i have stayed in . This really is a little gem . A short ride from everything you need .. if you thinking about staying .. get it booked you wont regret it . Will 100 percent be returning for a second visit x

Beautifull property .

.Magical loved the Lions and really was the lion the witch and the wardrobe took us 2 days to get our bearings fabulous Would of liked a little note on how to turn the heating on or even the fire..Not always that obvious if you dont know.. Had some lovely walks in the woods with our furbaby he loved every minute. Had a nice Chinese meal from local chipshop and local supermarket only 10 mins away. Sad to leave. House stunning Garden stunning..Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thankyou for the goodies

We loved every minute of our stay in this amazing house.

So well equipped- everything we could have wanted and help on hand if needed. The weather was a bonus so we got to enjoy the garden and hot tub. Thankyou for the generous welcome hamper- even our dog was spoilt! House is also in a great location so no long drives for days out. We’ve had a really amazing time and would highly recommend!

A truly lovely house.

Tastefully decorated and with so many thoughtful touches and a welcome basket to come into. Very good communication and clear instructions, we had a slight query regarding the heating and Bruce kindly popped round straight away to resolve. I’d recommend this beautiful home, great location and very thoughtful owners.

This property was immaculate, the photographs do not do it justice it’s even more beautiful in real life.

The hosts were fantastic, so helpful and kind. We had the most wonderful weekend we could of wished for - we will definitely be back. Thank you so much xx

Wow, amazing house.

.the decor is beautiful. Spotlessly clean, very spacious, extremely comfortable beds with quality bedding, and the kitchen had every utensil you could think off. The enclosed garden was great for our dogs and the woodland walk was right next door. Only a 20 minute walk to the town and promenade. Owner was super responsive and even let us check in earlier. We all had a fantastic time!

Quality individual Property in good residential area.

Furnished with flair, attention to detail and artistic flourishes where trusting owners attract respectful and appreciative guests. Peaceful and private grounds. Stylish and Restful Conservatory /SunRoom. Responsive and Helpful owners. Central location with Nature walks and Duckpond nearby. It is difficult to find any further suggestions that may have enhanced our stay at Linwood. Perhaps merely from a personal perspective of a property which focus's on offering guests every conceivable comfort - a separate more upright armchair may be welcomed in one of the Sitting Rooms as an option to the larger seating arrangements. Also amidst all the many facilities offered where one may be spoiled for choice - a small TV in the 2nd Sitting Room rather than in the kitchen would have been more preferred.

Absolutely fabulous house.

Everything you need plus a little bit more. Fantastic welcome basket including Prosecco, chocolate for the kids plus crisps and crackers. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided plus plenty of oils and spices for cooking. Slight problem with the heating on arrival but Bruce the owner was round within 5 minutes to sort it out . Top quality fixtures, fittings and bedding. 5 star luxury throughout.

You couldn't ask for anything better, this place ticks all the box's, the attention to detail is truly amazing from the arrival hamper to medicine cabinet.

I challenge anybody to stay and find something they need that is not there. The hosts have done an outstanding job.

We spent Christmas and New Year at Linwood with our family and had a wonderful stay.

The hosts were fantastic — very friendly, responsive, and helpful with any questions or requests we had. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas and truly looked magical, making the festive season feel extra special. Everything is thought of from a gorgeous welcome hamper to games. We made some lovely memories and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Linwood to others.

Property is absolutely beautiful!

Well equipped kitchen and beautifully decorated house. As a large group only thing we thought house needed was a coat and shoe rack. Beds super comfy slept so well and of course the addition of a hot tub was a real treat especially for the children Sky tv with Netflix and iplayer all signed in was great for rainy days. Perfect house for family of all ages

Our second stay at Linwood, it’s like a home from home, comfort and facilities just like home.

Made to feel welcome and nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend and we’ll be back for stay number 3 next year!

From stepping into the property,we felt relaxed alexa was playing music and the heating and lighting was on to make it comfortable.

There was a lovely comprehensive welcome pack, and a big jar of dog treats which our 2 dogs enjoyed. It was lovely and clean with gorgeous decor, the bed was very comfortable and the garden was very safe for our dogs. We enjoyed the hottub and it was nice and clean. When we needed to contact the owners they answered us straight away with no hassle. The area the property is located in felt very safe and secure and neighbours friendly. Over all a very enjoyable stay.

This is a fantastic property with absolutely everything you could possibly need to feel like home.

We had a very busy week entertaining the kids with all the delights that Blackpool has to offer, to return at the end of a busy day to this beautiful property with plenty of room for us all to relax was just blissful, the hot tub was a bonus. It's in a perfect location, just 20 minutes walk from the tramway and a further 10 minutes to a lovely beach. Excellent communication from owners on arrangements for arrival and departure. Thank for a fantastic stay, we hope to return in the future.

It is well equipped with everything you need. We had a really great time staying here. The hot tub is an exceptional feature. This was truly everything we were looking for. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful.

This property and garden area were both amazing (particularly the hot tub).

Exceeded expectations from the photos. Furnished to a very high standard and the beds were extremely comfortable. Attention to detail throughout. The welcome basket was carefully thought out with the addition of sweets which my granddaughter enjoyed! Would certainly recommend and return at some point in the future. Thank you.

We had great difficulty in locating the property.

Linwood is not located on Linden Green as shown on google maps and as Sykes directions. If apptoaching along Holmfield Avenue turn right into Linden Close do not turn left into Linden Green carry on up Linden Close Linwood is the last house on the left. Apart from this we had a lovely holiday.

A fantastic property, everything you needed.

Spotlessly clean, very comfy beds with crisp linen. Yummy goodie try left. The hot tube was a bonus and very well maintained, will book again.

An absolute wow.

Everything so perfect from start to finish. The best accommodation I have stayed in from location to the house it's self, everything there you could imagine and beautifully furnished. Very doggie friendly and very secure garden which is important. Lovely little wooded walk right next door and duck pond up the road. Very quiet area and neighbours friendly and helpful. Extremely good communication and helpful info via the owners also. A most definite yes will book again without hesitation.

This is the most amazing house.

It has absolutely everything in it you could possibly need. The thought put into facilities and amenities provided I have never experienced anywhere else before. It truly is a dream house.

The house was as described in details. Everything was clean and tidy. Very quiet area. Good location, walked into Cleveleys, it was about 20minutes. Kitchen was well equipped, didn’t want for anything. Superb welcome hamper. Just one thing the bedroom on top floor has no curtains on the three windows and the light shines through and you really don’t want to be awake early when you are on holiday!! Would definitely go back.

Stayed over the New Year and the house was absolutely amazing .

It was very clean, decorated so beautifully. The hosts were so lovely and left the biggest hamper for us all to enjoy. The location is perfect and the bonus of the hot tub was fantastic. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful big house Had everything we needed

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Linwood, a stunning home beautifully decorated with high-quality fixtures and fittings throughout.

The hosts made us feel very welcome with their excellent communication, and we appreciated the generous welcome pack filled with a variety of goodies!

The property really exceeded expectations.

It was decorated lovely, everything worked (oven, tvs , lights etc) which was a first and the communication from the owners was excellent. The size of the rooms were amazing the bedrooms in particular and it felt so homely. The hot tub was really good as well. Good location near to lots of things to do, plus a local hickory's restaurant branch nearby! Will definitely be coming back, although is it possible to get a blind for the windows in the attic room as I imagine it would be light in the summer months in the morning?

Linwood is an absolutely stunning property with everything you need and more.

It is a real home from home and feels very welcoming. The owner was really helpful with any questions I had and I would highly recommend this house. The decor is fabulous with so many finishing touches that you notice something new all the time and although we didn’t have the best weather, it was very peaceful to sit in the conservatory looking out at the lovely garden. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi bath and sitting in the hot tub while listening to the rain is a great experience. This review probably doesn’t do the house justice and I will definitely return to this property.

“We were pleasantly surprised when we entered our holiday home" Linwood is a lovely large, immaculately clean, beautiful house with everything provided for a most enjoyable holiday.

Good well- equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, amazing big garden and hot tub. Loved sitting in the conservatory with the pretty tree lights on in the evening made it so cosy, lovely bedrooms, master bedroom was amazing and bed so comfortable. Welcome basket was nice too. Recommend visiting Forest of Bowland and Bowland Food Hall Clitheroe for good food also Whelan’s fish & chip shop Lytham St Annes. Would like to stay again as plenty to do in the lovely Lancashire area.

Lingwood is a really special house that caters for all of your needs.

It is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated/furnished and maintained to a very high standard. We had a lovely stay there, the hosts were extremely helpful & looked after us. We will be returning again next year!!

Linwood was an amazing place, the master bedroom was fantastic.

The lounge, dining room and kitchen are excellent with plenty of room, there is a lovely sitting area in the garden and a great hot tub if you want to relax. It’s a great house for families and groups of couples and you can take your pet dog, we had a great time and would love to go there again.

This place was brilliant!

The photos on the website don't do Linwood justice, it was so big! We could have been there still! Both our Granddaughter and dog were safe in the enclosed garden, and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Last but not least, the welcome pack was brilliant, well thought out and just what was required....we'd be back tomorrow!

Beautiful house and garden, it had everything you needed and plenty of kitchenware.

The beds were super comfy and we found everything quite easily, although it would have been useful to have an instruction booklet. The lights came on and off at weird times to the time of year and were on timers so maybe that needs to be updated. But they were little things, the location was beautiful, about 20 mins walk to facilities and a bit further for the beach. I would love to stay here again.

Very spacious, all the bedrooms are lovely with nice finishing touches, everything you could ask for in the kitchen and an utterly amazing bathroom. Lovely welcome hamper on arrival which was a nice welcome to the house, as well as milk in the fridge. Close to the supermarket which was handy. In a lovely quiet neighbourhood, we can’t wait to return later in the year.

Stunning house in a great location just a short walk to the sea front, very secure garden for the dog and the added luxury of a under cover hot tub which was great couldn't of asked for more.

Stayed in many holiday homes over the years but this was by far the best.

We stayed hear for 4 days with my family 3 kids and partner the house was lovely very clean and tidy the owners where so helpful and always to hand if we needed anything the house is in a perfect location to local shops and 15min drive from the pleasure beach we would highly recommend this property and we will be 100% booking again

A lovely property with so much space.

A massive through kitchen, conservatory, with 3 sets of doors to open in the summer, dining, sitting room. Just right for entertaining a large family, with cupboards and drawers full of everything you might need and a cosy snug for quiet moments, and downstairs wc. A master suite with large comfy bed and sofa and great wet room, tv and so much space. Three more large bedrooms, no single beds, one with TV. A huge bathroom with walk-in shower and a jacuzzi bath you could get lost in. Lots of seating in the garden for warm days and a hot tub, which we did not try. Location is just off A585, but you would not know it. We walked into Cleveley in around 20 mins. Here you can get bus/tram to Fleetwood or Blackpool or get a giant meringue at Cleveleys Kitchen! We also had a very nice meal at Pablo's in Fleetwood. They close at 3p.m., so it's good for long lunches. Staff are very nice. We cycled on the sea front at Fleetwood and from the south of Cleveleys, right through to Star Gate. All off the road, so great for families. We also cycled round Stanley Park and out past the Zoo. Another good ride for families and the cafe in the park is well worth a visit. We sat outside with the bikes and people stopped to talk to us!
