What guests are saying
We were not sure what to expect when we initially saw the outside of the property, however, we were all pleasantly surrprised by the interior.
It was more spacious than we had expected and very clean and tidy. Everything we required for our 3 night stay was provided , with plenty of extra toutches and plenty of kitchen equipment etc. The small sitting room was cosy and we were glad to have a good sized table in the separate dining room, where we could all dine together. We had the largest bedroom, with quite a soft matress, the twin room had much firmer ones and the small double had a medium one! Something for all! We found the fridge to be very cold as it froze the salad, double cream and the butter. The downstairs shower worked well as did the facilities in the main bathroom. We found one of the blinds in the main bedroom rather stiff, so left it part way down as we didn't want to force it. The white towels we were given were of a good size and quality, however they were rather rough! Having rented out a property ourselves, perhaps I'm being too pick, however, generally, everything was great and we thank you for a pleasant stay.
The house was absolutely spotless!
It was also huge! Such a deceiving sized house it went on and on. Both bathrooms had powerful showers and both were spotless again. The kitchen was amazing with loads of storage. The bedrooms were spacious especially the master bedroom at the front. The only downside was there wasn’t enough seating in the living room. For 6 people there was one sofa ( seating 3 max) and 2 rather uncomfortable wooden chairs. That was the only problem we had. I’d say I’d like to return but the house is actually up for sale so that may not happen.
Was easy to book which was great.
Location was ok, but on a very busy noisy road outside. Was shocked to see the property was up for sale and did make us wonder if potential buyers would be shown around whilst we were there. Please make people aware of this situation. There is no number or name on the door. There was a constant beeping sound, which we think is coming from the garage. The back door is very difficult to unlock. The front door lock seemed very lose and wondered how secure it was. The property felt a little dirty (skirting boards, front and back doors, windowsills). The front door was very dirty, which we gave a little clean. We cleaned the property before left. Looks like the property is still being renovated. Would be difficult for 6 people to find somewhere to sit in the lounge. The air freshener plugged in was very strong.
