Description
This charming and comfortable three-bedroom cottage sits in an elevated position over looking Coniston Water. It is just a few minutes walk from the village centre and has parking for one car.
Coniston is a traditional Lakeland Village and is away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Lake District but has a charm of its own. Walks from the doorstep with shops, pubs and restaurant on your doorstep.
On entering the cottage, walk to the garden room and admire the stunning views of the fells and Coniston water. Patio doors lead out onto the decked area with furniture, which enables you to watch the sunset over the lake.
The sitting room is a great place to sit and relax after a busy day, whether it be walking on the fells or indeed sightseeing. Enjoy the warmth of the fire whist watching TV with either your family or friends.
The kitchen and dining area is a great space to socialise and celebrate a special occasion with your family and friends. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need.
Take the stairs and choose from the three comfortable bedrooms, one is a king en-suite with views across the lake, the second is a kingsize with en-suite bathroom (If requested this can be made into 2ft 6 twin beds) and the third a double with en-suite shower.
Returning to the ground floor is a utility room and lockable storage for bikes. There is also a separate shower room.

What guests are saying
We absolutely loved staying at this delightful cottage.
A great location just a short walk to the lake and the village. It was beautifully furnished with plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing or be together. I’ve never had such a well stocked kitchen to work in whilst holidaying, it was definitely a home to enjoy. The family also really appreciated the 3 en-suite bedrooms. When we weren’t out walking we spent most of our time in the house in the conservatory drinking in the view and watching the sunrises, sunsets, birds and sheep, we didn’t use the well appointed lounge all week. Parking at the front of the cottage is a little compact, but we did appreciate that there was off road parking available.
Hello.
We have stayed at Garden Cottage Coniston several times now and have enjoyed our stay. On this occasion the experience was also very good. I would like to point out a slight negative which was a foul odour coming from the small front located bathroom. It had a bad eggs presence and drifted into the second bedroom at the rear above the conservatory which was off-putting. I do not raise this as a major concern to us but the septic tank may need emptying or a seal replacing. We have experienced this on a previous occasion
Lovely house, with everything we could need.
Short walk to the water, or to the center of the village. Perfect.
