This is so far the best cottage we have stayed in.

The location could not have been better. The place was clean and well equipped. It’s surrounded by pubs restaurants shops etc and is a two minute walk to the lakeside. If there’s anything to mention I would say get a seamstress in to cut out the paint on the curtain in the back bedroom as it looks a mess, have the curtains permanently tied back and install a blind. The carpet in the dining room is grubby which is to be expected as it’s a main walkway to the kitchen, I’d suggest replacing it with the same flooring which is in the lounge and hallway. Lastly this cottage definitely needs a key lock on it, after driving for a long time it’s annoying having to go to pick the key up. We had very bad weather so decided to leave at 6.30am we took the key back but it was in the middle of a storm and a power cut we didn’t know where the key lock was as we had collected the key from the office on our arrival so we posted it through the office door, a key lock on the cottage would have saved all this messing about. Our car a Mercedes just got in the parking slot it overhung the double yellow lines. All in all I wish I had booked this beautiful cottage for longer, my husband myself and our dog had a fantastic time and I definitely need to book this cottage again for the summer. I absolutely recommend this property it’s a little gem.

We loved where it was situated, very close to everything.

In 15 years of going to holiday cottage’s I have never known it, to be only left one toilet roll for a full week, no tea, coffee, sugar or milk. Nothing to clean with either, we had to go out and buy it all. This doesn’t reflect on the cottage, we did enjoy that!

Lovely cottage very clean and comfortable Close to everything.

Few small issues crack in sink some stains on dinning room carpet but nothing major it may be a idea though to have 2 sets of keys as some of us wanted to do our own things but was difficult to having only 1 set of keys so we had to work around the person with the keys but all in all lovely cottage and we have rebooked for next year would be lovely as I say to have another set of keys
