What guests are saying
We are a group of friends and have stayed 3 times now and always had a fantastic time.
Unfortunately the price has risen so much next year, this year will be our last stay. It is such a shame as we have always found The Oaks perfect for our group.
We all thought that the accommodation and facilities were superb.
A beautiful quiet location on the hillside very near Bowness. The children, 10 of them aged between 5 and 16, enjoyed the pool table, the hot tubs and the large area of grass for various games. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything one could need. The en suite facilities in the bedrooms were very well received, as was the view from the terrace. We loved staying in The Oaks, just very sad to leave after such a memorable week.. One of the boys told his Mum ‘This is the best holiday ever’ need we say more. Thank you from Val and Robin
Absolutely amazing place.
The facilities and deco are outstanding. The pictures don't do it justice. There were 21 of us and there was more than enough space, lots of room so that you're able to find a quiet corner. The view is fab, it was lovely sitting on the patio having our evening meal. The bedroom were very comfortable as were the beds. The kitchen is very well equipped. The whole house was very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, checking the hot tubs every morning. Its only a 30mim walk into bowness which is a lovely part of the lake district, lots to do and see. This has been one of the nicest place we have stayed at as a large group. Would highly recommend.
