One or two minor things missing, coat hangers, a sweeping brush, and oven gloves that were promptly delivered when asked.

Generally, a good way of having a family get together while maintaining some privacy by booking three separate cabins. Large table out of doors great for evening meals in lovely weather.

The owners are most welcoming and helpful.

The accommodation is clean, comfortable and warm. The site is well located next to two garden centres and close to other facilities and attractions.

Friendly welcome by the owners.

Found the cottage exactly as advertised. Was visiting parents who lived near by so was a perfect place to stay. Will use again for future visits.

A plug for use of a hairdryer on wall was thoughtfully thought through for easiness of use by the dressing table with mirror

This was our second time at this dog friendly property.

The cottage was well equipped, decorated to a high standard and conveniently located for the Lancashire coast. Last year we stayed in the old Stables and this time we were in the Foxes Den. We were booked into another cottage (there are 4 in total) but there was only an over bath shower which I didn’t think I’d be able to use. When I mention this to the owner, she immediately offered us the adjacent cottage which had a wet room. There is a Morrisons weather at 12:20 minute drive and buses stop outside the properties. Although there is no Wi-Fi we had good coverage on our phones and we’re able to Bluetooth. The kitchen was well equipped and our cottage had a dishwasher and a washing machine which we didn’t think we’d need to use, however after taking our cockatoo Dora to the beach it was handy to wash our towels. My husband and I, and Dora had an excellent week and Will be back.

Cosy, clean, well equipped. Proper home from home. The owners are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. This is the 3rd time we have stayed on this site and we will be back to stay again soon.

Lovely countryside location not far from the bright lights of Blackpool and Thornton-Cleveleys very comfortable apartment, warm and clean has a small kitchen area.

Absolutely loved the Goose Shed.

It was perfect for us and our dog. The owners have good attention to detail, everything we needed was there. Beautifully clean in a lovely location with a well stocked Nursery on site what more could you want. Looking forward to returning.

Would not stay here again, we booked for a week but left after 3 day’s, parking is terrible as it wasn’t advertised as being right next to s plant nursery, and customers would wander past the cottages and stare in, the photos looked unlike the accommodation, the photos showed a corner suite but in reality it was a worn uncomfortable two seater sofa.

Oven smoked and set off the smoke alarm. Crockery was dirty, and the toilet leaked. The bed was comfortable. Overall a misleading description. We are glad that we received a partial refund.

we would not have booked this property had we have known it is sited on a garden centre .

when the garden centre was open from 10 am till4pm the parking area for the goose shed was used by the customers of the gardencentre , they would park their cars in front of us & gaze through the windows of the properties , consequently there was a total lack of privacy .i thinkk it should be mentioned it is a gardencentre , we will not be going back . regards alan &joyce campbell

Very helpful lady owner.

WiFi would be a good addition. The radiators worked well in very cold conditions.

I called a couple of hours before arriving to let them know we were coming, on arrival we were welcomed and showed where we’re staying.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was clean and comfortable a great base for visiting Blackpool.

What a lovely place the place was spotless and had everything we required, the owners very friendly and helpful, very quiet but a ideal location for exploring all the area, hopefully we will return in the near future.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Goose Shed.

It is a little gem, so close to the coast but so quiet and i loved seeing the sheep in the field as I looked out of the bedroom window. The owners are so helpful and friendly. I recommend all of The Brambles cottages.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to others.

We took a dog with us and living with a dog here was almost as easy as living with her at home.

The cottage could really do with WiFi everything is online now for booking and finding out what's around the area, I think the owners miss an opportunity to push the high level golf courses in the area, a little more information on the area would be an advantage, owners are very friendly and welcoming had a fantastic stay with friends next door to us

Very clean and peaceful

We booked our stay at Goose Shed not for a holiday but unfortunately to attend a family funeral and, visit another family member in Hospital.

Our hosts were very pleasant people and very accommodating. My wife is not very stable on her feet at times and they provided a wooden constructed ramp to assist her up and over the step. The accommodation was very clean and well looked after. We will return to the Goose Shed again hopefully next time for holiday and pleasure purposes.

Everything was as described on the website. Hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. You could not ask for any more. Definitely a ‘home away from home’ - highly recommended.

Lovely new quiet cottage within a block of four and with friendly owners living adjacent.

Ideal for a couple who wish to explore The Fylde area as Fleetwood, Thornton-Cleveleys and Blackpool are all within a couple of miles, and Lytham St Anne’s just a little further. We had a lovely week and certainly hope to return soon.

Very near to bus stop to Blackpool and Fleetwood.

The buses run every 10 minutes. Very quiet peaceful location. Extremely friendly owners. Thoroughly enjoyed stay.
