  • "Could maybe have done with a bit more cutlery and crockery to save washing up by hand to avoid running short of bits and pieces which had disappeared into the dishwasher."

But don't take that as a complaint as such - just a suggestion. Aside from that, everything was fine, and the welcoming hamper was a pleasant surprise. A beautiful, comfortable house in a lovely location.

  • "The owner Michelle was absolutely lovely!"

We arrived late due to traffic and she took in our food delivery and put it away for us. So when we arrived it was all sorted! There was also a little basket of treats left too which were such a nice thought! House is lovely and definitely well looked after by the owners and you can tell their guests are important to them. Beds were super comfy and the shower really decent. I was worried about parking but they have 2 spaces just across the road in the station you can use so that was really good. We had such a lovely weekend and would defo recommend to anyone.

  • "We had great weather , so table's outside were more than enough for 8 people to sit and eat , but had the weather been bad , I cannot see how we could have all fitted round the table in the small lounge."

We had a lovely time , great cottage , ideal position. Not a criticism , just an observation , for a family with a disabled child , a more up to date smart TV , that we could have got netflix on would have been helpful. Lovely owner . Will be back x

Such a warm relaxing home to come back to after exploring the Lakes. Games room downstairs was a great space to entertain our 7year old. Defiantly booking when the weather is nicer so we can make full use of the beautiful court yard garden.
