The accommodation was comfortable and clean and warm.

Instructions for the thermostat would be useful as it was not intuitive. More bin liners were needed and it would have been helpful to know that there was recycling in the shed where the bins were and some containers for recycling in the kitchen. Also, the website is inaccurate, there is not a twin room, there is a single room with a spare mattress. The super king bed needs to be unzipped to make twin beds. Thus inaccurate listings could have seriously detrimentally affected the sleeping arrangements if I had not spoken to the very helpful owner before the holiday.

Second stay at side house farm.

Stunning as every and a home from home in a beautiful valley. The house is very clean and well kept, with everything needed for a week or two away. Beds are comfy, providing a perfect night's sleep. Emily was very accommodating allowing us to feed Ethel and Edna, the highland cows. Looking forward to visiting again next year and hopefully meeting the expanded herd.

Wonderful, spotlessly clean cottage in an idyllic remote location, but still only a few minutes walk from a few places to get a drink or something to eat.

Perfectly located for walks starting from Langdale, and along The Cumbria Way. We contacted the owner during our stay and they were very kind and accommodating. Thank you!

Honestly you'd be hard pressed to find a better location.

Side house is a lovely property, very clean well equipped and comfortable. Highly recommended.

This property has an amazing location, situated near the end of the Langdale valley.

The internal finish of the cottage is fresh and welcoming. You could park your car, and walk a different walk every day from the property. Great owners, very helpful.

Great location and lovely cottage.

Bathroom / shower lets the property down a little bit for a luxury cottage but the location quickly lets you forget that and everything else absolutely bang on

Even the many pictures don't quite reveal what a phenomenal view this holiday home has. It was also spacious, comfortable and clean. It's well positioned to explore the Langdale Valley and wider Lake District. Recommended!
