Low Cartmell Fold was an excellent property to stay in over October half term.

The house was warm and cosy on our arrival and the electric Aga in the kitchen keeps it that way. The beds and bedding are all very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped (although the knives could be sharper!), plenty of sofa space in the sitting room made it comfortable for us all to be together in there. The games room above the garage is a real bonus particularly as we stayed during a very stormy week! Great access to the southern lakes for some great walks. The local pub is within a very short walk but I think maybe we didn't catch them at their best... The owner was very helpful and communicative when we had a power cut - thank you :-)

This property was amazing.

Well equipped and authentic. The best pillows and most comfortable bed we have slept in . The welcome package was wonderful and welcoming. They have thought of everything. Great locality and close to pub too. Recommend totality .

Lovely house and gardens in a quiet spot with a fabulous pub and restaurant close.

The children really enjoyed the games room. Feedback on the house would be that the main bedroom couldn’t be opened (appeared to have recently been painted) which was hot, and we couldn’t get the tumble dryer to switch on or open but luckily it was warm weather to dry clothes. Would book with you again.
