Drive a little further to visit the seaside town of Morecambe, enjoying the Lake District views whilst strolling the promenade. Those seeking to experience more of the great outdoors can take a scenic drive to the Trough of Bowland a popular rambling and cycling location, or to the Lake District National Park to visit idyllic lake towns like Windermere and Ambleside famous for their watersports and the walks and trails surrounding them.

Location fantastic to explore surrounding area. Morecambe, lancaster. Fleetwood , blackpool, Lytham St Annes all 30/40 mins. other lovely villages and towns 10/15 mins away. Locals so friendly. The house is super comfortable, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean. Karen and John go above and beyond to ensure everything you need is provided. The best welcome basket we have ever received. Ideal for 4 generations of family. Loads of space for everyone to spread out. We hope to return.

Stayed here middle of March for a week and were very lucky with the weather as it was scorching.
Karen and John could not be better hosts even putting a temporary barricade on the entrance gate to keep our small Maltese dog from going walkabouts. The house itself was immaculate and the small touches of food and drinks for us on arrival was a great gesture. Hot tub was fantastic being covered in the event of rain which we did not get, bonus. The open plan kitchen and lounge gave a great feeling of freedom. Beds were the comfiest we have slept in ever. All in all a superb stay in a lovely area with really nice people. We are not easy to please but Vine cottage was as Tina put it, simply the best.

Everything is spotless clean everything you need for making meals is there . I love that it has a downstairs bedroom and bathroom as I don’t do stairs very well. It has a hot tub which the family love and is cleaned every day.the garden is perfect for the kids to play football John even put them a goal post up.We have stayed in holiday homes but this is the best ever thank you Karen and John the Welton family x

Fabulous home, the best we’ve ever stayed at!
From initial queries, through post booking / pre arrival queries, the hosts were super responsive, and waiting to welcome us on arrival. The home suited our 3 generation holiday perfectly, was larger than we’d anticipated from pictures, well furnished with lovely ‘finishing touches’ like robes and flip flops for the hot tub use, a much appreciated Welcome Pack, and informative help for things to do / places to visit. Would love to return, to make use of the house to explore more of the wonderful local area Thank you ever so much for a super holiday

Fantastic stay at Vine Cottage would highly recommend it.
The owners were lovely and helpful on places to visit etc. The cottage had everything we needed for a home from home feel, comfy beds well equipped kitchen and outdoor seating for perfect family times. Would definitely stop here again when in this area as it’s close to the coast & lots of perfect little villages & dog walks.

My family and I have just had the perfect stay at Vine Cottage for my husband's 60th celebration.
We can't thank you enough. The most beautiful, relaxing, clean space with everything you could possibly need. The garden is immaculate with plenty of space for our pup and the hot tub fantastic. My husband and son in law were greeted by Karen on arrival who they said was so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and we received a couple of kind check in messages from Karen which was also appreciated. 10/10 stay that we could not fault. We can't wait to visit again!

We’ve had a wonderful week in this beautifully renovated holiday cottage.
Everything has been thoughtfully considered, with exceptional attention to detail throughout. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival, and the welcoming touches made us feel at home straight away. The quality toiletries and luxurious towels were much appreciated, and the kitchen was one of the best-equipped we’ve ever experienced in a holiday cottage. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was a real treat, kept immaculate with daily maintenance. The owners were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We were also lucky with the weather, which allowed us to make the most of this lovely area. Thank you for a fantastic stay – we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage and hope to return ourselves.

This was our third visit to Vine Cottage, and another fabulous week was had.
Vine cottage is beautiful and very spacious, with an amazing hot tub and beautifully maintained gardens. Lovely sized bedrooms with an added bonus of a beautiful extension, that offers an additional living area, large bedroom, bathroom and spacious utility room. What a brilliant holiday we had at Vine Cottage.
Karen and John were excellent hosts and would do anything to make you feel at home. They left a very ample basket which we very much appreciated. Vine Cottage is decorated to a very high standard and had lots of smart TVs and Game consoles for the children. The hot tub was a great treat and even if rained you would be dry as it was covered in. The gardens were great for outdoor entertainment and dining. The village was great for Fleetwood, Morecambe, Lancaster, Blackpool and St Anne's as they were only a few miles away. Beautiful house with everything you need.
Attention to detail is outstanding. The hot tub was an added bonus, with robes and flip flops provided. The garden is the perfect spot to enjoy the sunshine. The hosts are friendly, accommodating, and on hand if you need anything, even tips for the best local take away! Will definitely return

Vine cottage is an excellent house for any family or friends visiting the North West of England.
It is set in the quiet village of Pilling and is great for exploring the area with Lancaster and the South Lakes to the North and Blackpool to the South. The cottage has all the facilities and great outdoor seating area not to mention a lovely hot tub which was well maintained by Karen and John the very welcoming owner's. I can thoroughly recommend Vine Cottage to anyone.

We had a fantastic Easter break at Vine Cottage and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.
From the moment we arrived, it felt welcoming, cosy and well thought out l. Karen and John were so welcoming, which made it even more special. The hot tub was a real standout, nicely covered, very private, and perfect whatever the weather. The cottage itself is finished to a high standard and stocked with everything you might need. The added touches like robes, towels, flip flops, salt, pepper, tea, sugar and the handy “forget me” box really set it apart. The location is great too, with lovely walks nearby and a local shop and pub within easy reach. We had such a lovely stay and would happily recommend Vine Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing break. We’ll definitely be back!

A fantastically equipped property for 3 generations.
This property comes with the personal experience. Karen and John have thought of everything. The moment you arrive you are personally hand the keys and shown the property. There's a welcome hamper that goes above and beyond. The house is spotless and gives that new house feel, the carpets are still fluffy. Then as you settle in to the home and start to cook and use the kitchen, it is made so easy by a extremely well equipped kitchen. 6 days I cooked a full English breakfast for everyone and on sunday a full pork roast dinner with amazing crackling created in the oven. Extra cutlery and crockery, so just put dishwasher on and relax. Get your robe on and go outside enjoy the under cover hot tub, no matter the weather. Sit on the sofas cozy up in a amazing smelling blanket and play the many games that are provided. There are tonnes of days out in the area, for all ages. Or if you want to relax and stay around the village. Loads of pushchair walks for young kids on a morning. Great chippy for those cheat nights, and many more options in the village over, excellent Chinese. You must try Wallings icecream - Personally, I recommend the warm waffle and ice cream. Our second stay at this superb property did not disappoint.
Exceptionally clean, well equipped and warm property with owners who cannot do enough for you. This has become our go to property for a tranquil and relaxing break in a lovely area. Greeted by an excellent welcome pack you can want for nothing here. We have used holiday cottages every year for 26 years and this is the first time we have returned to a property which says it all really, thoroughly recommended.

The cottage is so beautiful, the owners have gone above & beyond to make guests feel welcome, its light and airy, spacious- yet cosy, with some lovely extras- wine, bead, milk, crisps.... From the moment you step through the door you find fabulous open plan space to entertain, cook & share family meals, play games (lots available) TV with loads to watch & cosy up on the sofa or read a book in front of the log burner

WOW WOW WOW We stayed at Vine cottage for New Year and it was fabulous!
We had a very warm welcome from Karen and John, the house had absolutely everything we needed, the welcome pack was a wonderful bonus and much appreciated. Hot tub was amazing, we struggled to get the Husbands out of it :-) Everything we asked Karen and John for was provided and done quickly, nothing was too much trouble. We ventured out to the local pub (about a 25 min walk) ate and drank here, had a great afternoon, worth the visit. Will we be back?? 1000% yes! one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. This was our second visit to Vine Cottage and we fell in love with it even more!
There is heartfelt love and care in this property. Everything and I mean everything is of the highest standard and immaculate! It's hard to not to believe that Karen, John and their team don't fully redecorate and refurnish between new visitors as it's maintained to such a very, very high standard! Decor throughout Vine Cottage ensures relaxation - even the beautiful Christmas tree is decorated to compliment the colour scheme. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and everything matches with no chips, marks or stains. Our Christmas meal was cooked and served beautifully - the only inadequacy was that WE forgot the gravy!! Three generations have spent the most relaxing Christmas week ever in this amazing retreat. Such lovely, warm welcoming people deserve wholeheartedly the success that Vine Cottage is - already booked for next year!!

It is fabulously clean and comfortable with everything you could wish for and more. Our family enjoyed the hot tub even in the rain in Dec as it was lovely and warm. The owners were helpful and very friendly and we rely would recommend staying here. We didn't want to leave

We loved our stay!
We've stayed in a number of Sykes properties ever since getting our dog 6 years ago and have to say this is our favourite. The house was immaculate! I was a little concerned about our dog being able to get through the large gaps in the gates but karen had a fix for this and panels were put on the gate straight away to close the gaps, with these the garden felt very secure. The hot tub was lovely and it was great that it was under cover / there were lights for when it was cloudy / darker. Kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of crockery and different types of glassware. The butchers and bakery in knott end were great as was the Indian takeaway we'd recommend for sure. Also took a trip to billy Bob's for some great diner food. We're hoping to go back soon!

Good for walking, particularly on flat ground, such as by a canal. I would highly recommend Vine Cottage.

Clean, comfortable and spacious.
Secure garden for dog and sufficient off road secure parking for a number of vehicles. Owners Karen and John living next door welcoming are on hand to solve any little issues. Home is fully equipped. Hot tub heated and spotlessly cleaned. Water tested daily. We had an excellent weeks stay. 5 Stars.

Firstly pulling up to vine cottage was a joyous moment due to its dominance and medieval feel due to the church being next to it.
We were greeted by Karen & John like we were already friends so much so it felt like a warm hug. They were very understanding about our youngest son’s special needs and made sure to make our boisterous 4 year old very welcome indeed by putting up the goal post and asking him questions to see if they could provide more for him. Vine cottage was big but homely with the love care and attention to detail that you can tell comes from a deep love of her (Karen’s) childhood home and we felt blessed to become a part of its rich tapestry. We found everything we needed and then even more, the kitchen has everything that you could possibly need and want, including a welcome basket full of goodies and some extra bits in the fridge. Due to how the home was set out we had space from each other aswell as unity that has brought us even closer than close as a family and we are already talking about the next visit to see Karen,John & vine cottage. Thankyou both so much, God bless you both and your family x x

We spent a wonderful week at Vine Cottage.
Karen and John are a lovely couple who made us very welcome in their stunning cottage. Our 2 teenage granddaughters loved going back to a few hours in the hot tub after a busy day out exploring. Karen recommended The Flower Bowl entertainment centre and garden centre which proved to be a great day out . We are hoping to book again next year.

Our stay was lovely and we felt very looked after by Karen and John.
They were very knowledgable about places to go in the area and checked up on us by message to make sure everything was ok each morning. Karen also provided a lovely spa session which as a group of 7 girl students, we thoroughly enjoyed! The house was in great condition with lots of resources and had everything we needed to cook all 3 nights. We really enjoyed the hot tub as well as using the outside furniture with the lovely weather. I would highly recommend staying at vine cottage!

The cottage is beautiful spotlessly clean and everything you need for your home from home stay. It was a bonus for me to have a downstairs bedroom and shower room. The garden is nice for sitting out and the hot tub was a big hit with the family especially the boys the view is so lovely.Karen and John the owners live next door and they are very welcoming and on hand for anything you need to know they clean the hot tub everyday I would highly recommend it . This property was unreal!
Karen really paid attention to the extra details required of a stay. We loved the fact it was her old family home and she had renovated it to the modern day, with the traditional features still present. Everything you could ever need was there for us and Karen was so accommodating and relaxed. I think she panicked when we told her it was a hen party (lol) but we were the classy kind of hen party and remained respectful to Karen and her home. The hot tub was amazing and the surrounding village was so cute too. A little out in the sticks and cell service is poor, but once you've stocked up on supplies and connected to the WIFI in the cottage - the world is reset again! Fab stay, cannot recommend this place enough. I cant wait to have the opportunity to return in the future! Thanks again

Positives - Well equipped.
Clean and Tidy. Spacious. Garden pleasant and tidy. Nice views. Negatives. Upstairs floorboards loud creaky in many areas. Main TV is quite unresponsive. Overdosing with ultra concentrated Lenor on all the bedding / towels. Over powering. I cleaned the washing machine draw to remove the excess Lenor then rinsed and air dryed the bedding as the first night's sleep was uncomfortable. The bottom step on the stairs is wooden instead of carpet. When coming down the stairs, if not used to it, you think your at ground level and on a few occasions I lost my footing.
Thank you for providing feedback for us to reflect on. We are sorry that our use of fabric conditioner was not to your liking. Guests have different preferences, and others have complimented our laundry, even asking what products we use to replicate the same freshness in their own homes. We will take care not to go heavy handed going forward! There are subtle floorboard creaks in some areas of the upstairs bedrooms, which given the house is almost 200 years old, adds a bit of period charm! With regard to the main TV, we have now cleared the search history and saved channels and it’s working fine now. Thank you for bringing that to our attention. We do hope that you managed to enjoy your week at Vine Cottage, despite some aspects not being to your liking. With best wishes.

The cottage is lovely, well equipped and furnished to a very high standard with lots if extras. Karen & John are fantastic owners and go above and beyond. The hot tub is a huge plus and maintained daily. The hot tub plus sitting on the sofa in the dining area with the bi-fold doors open reading a book, listening to the birds and the church bells were a daily highlight. Lots of places to go to if you choose to plus thr local buses are on the doorstep. Thank you for a lovely stay again.

Stunning modern cottage that ticks each and every box, honestly it's off the page and we have stayed at a lot of places.
It has everything. Fantastic open plan living, clearly a lot of thought has gone into the project, perfect for a family break. Very clean, it feels brand new. Very comfortable throughout, secure parking and lovely back garden area with large hot tub. The owners are very friendly and helpful. 11 out of 10, book, do not delay :)

The property was perfect.
We stayed in alot of cottages each year and this one was very high in our opinion. It had every type of facility would need, the mini pool table and dart board were great fun, the cleanliness of property was amazing, hot tub robes, the size of the cottage was spacious, everything was amazing and could not fault it in anyway at all. Would defo recommend and would visit again.

Vine Cottage is one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in.
Karen and John have thought Of everything you could need for a stay away from home and the place was faultlessly clean and tidy. The location was great with local walks on your doorstep and easy access to the Fylde coast and the hot tub in the back garden is an excellent addition to end your evenings. Would highly recommend and definitely go back if the opportunity arises.

A friendly greeting from John, Karen and Lucy on our arrival and shown around the house making sure we had all the information we needed.
John and Karen were on hand throughout the week if we needed anything and checked we were ok after an unscheduled power cut in the village. Our daughter summed Vine Cottage up when she said it was the best we have stayed in yet and we take a lot of cottage holidays. The house is beautiful and impeccably clean with all the equipment you’d ever need for a week away. The covered hot tub was a real bonus after days out and the cottage is handily located for the Fylde Coast and Southern Lakes whilst the Wyre Coast is on your doorstep. Take a lovely walk from the cottage along the coastal path to Knott End, grab some lunch and call in the local butchers and bakers then a direct bus (88 or 89) back to Pilling with the bus stop 200 yards from the cottage. We have never returned to the same cottage twice but we may make an exception with Vine Cottage

Karen and John have done a fabulous job with this cottage.
The finish on the property is to a very high standard and is pristine throughout (easily the cleanest we've ever stayed in!). Both Karen and John were super accommodating, ensuring all our needs were met. From adding small fences to the gates so that our small dog didn't escape to adjusting the heating when the weather became cooler. They have set a standard that will be extremely difficult to beat. Everything from a warm welcome on arrival, to a lovely hamper, fresh flowers, toiletries, hot tub (even robes and flip flops!) - just everything in fact, you could possibly need. Thank you once again for a wonderful week in Pilling. We're already trying to plan our next visit, so you'll be hearing from us soon :).

Vine Cottage revisited – Having stayed at the cottage previously we thought that after a nearly a year Vine Cottage would have lost some of the ‘Wow’ we first experienced.
We couldn’t have been further from the truth; it is still immaculately presented and did indeed still give us ‘Wow’ factor we first experienced. In fact, it is that clean you could be forgiven for thinking that no one had stayed between our last visit and this one! We go for the relaxation and that is something we definitely get at Vine Cottage, it is spacious, beautiful decorated, super comfortable beds, has everything you could ever need in the kitchen, and best of all is the jacuzzi that looks at over the countryside and has the echo of the church bells in the background – just so relaxing and chilled. As ever Karen and John are exceptional and go out of the way to ensure you have a good time. John even put extra fences in to ensure our escape artist of a dog couldn’t shoot off down the road. The welcome basket on arrival was a nice touch as were the flowers. All in all another super relaxing stay at a fantastic cottage, and looking forward to a return visit.

Super clean, newly renovated/good quality property, with every amenity possible and a lot of thought put into ensuring a pleasant stay. Hot tub checked daily. If I could give more stars, I would - because we've stayed in a dozen or more holiday rentals over the years and this was the best! Only regret that we didn't do a proper clean before leaving...Sykes sent an e-mail request to do this while we were there, which I didn't read until home and we haven't been asked to do this historically. This is our second time in Vine Cottage and we enjoyed our stay even more this time.
The owners accommodated all of our needs and were very patient with the three children in our party. Vine Cottage couldn’t be more comfortable with 4 spatious bedrooms, super comfy beds, gorgeous bathrooms where I pampered myself in the luxurious bathtub. A fully fitted kitchen allowed us to have some nice meals together and the lounge was perfect to hang out and chill. I’m hoping we get the opportunity to return to Vine Cottage soon!

Lovely absolutely lovely. Welcome hamper on arrival. John and Karen were super friendly and helpful, just a txt away if we needed anything. Beautiful holiday home. We were a family of three generations and we were all very happy. Even had badminton and that was a real hit with our 5 year old grandson. Our first stay at Vine Cottage, and won’t be the last. You can tell that the property has been lovingly restored by the owners, and was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed and more, with lots of extra touches. A comprehensive welcome guide was sent by the owners Karen and John prior to our stay, and we received a warm welcome on our arrival. If we had any issues, we could easily contact them as they live next door. We hope to be back again next June!

We had a wonderful week at Vine Cottage.
Beautifully restored and equipped with everything that we could ever need for our stay. The cottage is furnished to a very high standard with comfort in mind. We were a party of 4 in a cottage that can sleep 7, but , with 7 there would still be plenty of space. We arrived to find a very generous and welcome hospitality pack and vase of my favourite roses. Nothing is too much trouble. The Hot Tub is under cover and spotless. Karen and John are wonderful hosts.

Great location, beautiful well maintained house.
Friendly hosts with a great local pub that serves fantastic food. Having an electric plug in car charger would have been beneficial for us, especially as we'd travelled a long distance and we used our car for daily outings during our weeks stay.

This is a 5 star property with lovely comfortable furnishings.
We travelled with our two adult daughters and there is enough room for everyone, with a small self contained annex section giving more privacy if needed. There were lots of small touches made by the hosts Karen & John, including a welcome hamper, fresh flowers, and a lovely welcome upon arrival. Nothing has been forgotten about, there are robes and plastic glasses for the huge hot tub and wood for the log burner. This is the best equipped home we've stayed at (and we've used Sykes and Airbnb extensively). Location wise you are in the countryside but close to towns for all the amenities needed. We had mixed weather - but the cottage is cosy and so comfortable. 100% would recommend and will be back!

We must have searched a 100 properties before we came across this gem of a cottage, as soon as we saw the photographs we knew it had the WOW factor that we were looking for.
As they say the proof is in the pudding and this cottage certainly didn't disappoint. It has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored throughout with real attention paid to what guests might need during their stay. The property is spacious, in pristine condition and spotless throughout. The Cottage also has a fantastic hot tub that is maintained daily and is located in an outbuilding which has a window that looks over the countryside - very picturesque and just added to the chill time we were looking for. Superb log fire, which added to the whole cosiness of the property. Greeted by Karen and John, who gave us a really warm welcome and were on hand throughout the week should we need them and nothing was too much trouble - brilliant hosts. Fantastic welcome pack on arrival and flowers too; both of which were a real nice touch. Even the dog wasn't left out as there were treats for him too. We had a fantastic relaxing week at the Vine Cottage and hope to return again. If I could score the Cottage higher I would!

On walking into Vine Cottage you feel a huge sense of peace and calm.
There is the most thoughtful Welcome Pack with delicious treats to greet you as well as a beautiful vase of fresh flowers. As you explore the cottage further it's clearly been lovingly and thoughtfully decorated and furnished. It is immaculate! The furnishings throughout are of an exceptionally high quality as are the toiletries that are again such a thoughtful touch from Karen. Never have we stayed in such an exceptional, well equipped property as it has everything and more than you could possibly wish for! Karen and John are such lovely, warm, welcoming people who will go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. We didn't want to leave!!

Externally traditional, internally impeccably restored and modernised, immaculate and with amazing attention to detail.
Situated in a quiet village, the main noises are pink footed geese flying in formation overhead, and even the church bells seemed muted and did not disturb us. Relax!

After staying here for a week on a family holiday in September 2023 I can highly recommend Vine Cottage.
It is a beautiful spacious modern home but still retains the character of old-world charm. Karen and John have done an amazing job in the refurbishment of what was originally Karen’s family home. Everything about it oozes quality and the kitchen is truly well equipped with everything you could need. The welcome basket and all the extra touches from fresh flowers to doggy treats was very much appreciated

The cottage reached above and beyond our expectations.
It was beautifully decorated and furnished, high specification on every aspect. The property owners were on hand to help with any query and check that all was running smoothly throughout our stay. Would recommend the accommodation and hope to return again for a second stay soon.

The cottage and facilities are second to none. A luxurious and comforting accommodation. The owners maintain an incredibly high standard. As before, we received a very warm welcome. We hired Vine Cottage as an extension to our house and a place near to the place where our son and his new wife were celebrating their wedding.
Karen and John are wonderful hosts and were very accommodating if we needed anything. The hot tub was well used and well maintained. Once my family had gone home me and my husband spent the rest of the week there exploring Pilling, visiting the outdoor theatre in Lancaster and visiting the local places that we had driven past so many times. It was a very relaxing holiday even though we were only 9 minutes down the road!

This is a superb property and one of the best cottages we have stayed at.
All you need for your stay is provided, including a lovely welcoming box on arrival. Karen and John are very attentive and within 2 hours of our arrival constructed a wire cover for the left gate to stop our small dog being able to get out. We had the most wonderful stay at Vine Cottage.
If I could sum it up, I'd say it's like a house hotel! All the luxury of a spotless and contemporary hotel with all the advantages of a cosy, homely house (not to mention the great garden and lavish hot tub!). It was easy to find coming down from Scotland and is ideally placed in an idyllic rural location but within easy reach of the M6. During our stay we took quite a few day trips into Blackpool, which was around a half hour drive away, and found some wee gems on the country lanes along the way! Hopping into the hot tub when the kids were finally in bed was just the best way to wind down after a busy day! And opening the bifold doors and letting the children come and go from the garden whilst being able to keep an eye on them was just fantastic too. It's genuinely the most beautiful place we've ever stayed, there are not enough superlatives to describe how much we loved it! Waking up to the beautiful greenery and the church bells in the morning is how everyone should start their day. It's clear that so much love has gone into the house, it is a true home from home and we were not short of any home comforts or essentials, in fact, we felt extremely well looked after and catered to, especially with the fab toiletry baskets and the beautiful welcome hamper. Host Karen couldn't do enough for us and was so friendly and helpful. We'll most definitely be back so it's not goodbye to Vine Cottage for us, just see you soon!

The cottage is 5* plus and a real gem. It's spacious, spotlessly clean, bright and airy and really well equipped with everything thought of.. The outside area is lovely, plenty of room to park and to sit outside and the hot tub a real bonus. Inside, each room is comfortable and kitted out to a high standard with lots of extra touches. Best cottage holiday we've ever been on.
Fantastic house and garden, lovely views in every direction, safe and spacious for the kids. House was full of character, spotless and so spacious despite there being 8 of us. Kitchen very well stocked for proper meals, separate snug amazing if you want a break out room for kids to play in. Hot tub was fabulous. Hosts friendly and accessible, little touches like a welcome basket and robes made it feel luxurious. So many day trips nearby with lovely country roads to make the journey fly by. Can't wait to visit again.

A beautiful cottage renovated to a very high standard.
Would highly recommend. We had a wonderful, relaxing, comfortable stay at Vine Cottage. We cannot emphasise enough the fantastic facilities within the property. The owners have thought of everything. Plentiful crockery & utensils in the kitchen plus all the little things like dishwasher tablets, foil, tea, coffee etc. The beds are very comfortable with high quality bedding and the bathrooms are to a very high standard. The hot tub was an extra bonus and again there are robes for each guest to use and a pair of flip flops. Special touches like fresh flowers and a welcome hamper were greatly appreciated. We wanted for nothing. The hosts Karen & John were very welcoming, friendly, helpful and informative. All we can say is thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage we will definitely be returning very soon.

Vine Cottage was a really exceptional house.
We arrived to be met by the owners and had a tour of the house. They answered all of our questions about the property and the local area. We were made to feel very welcome. We were very impressed by the tasteful decor and open plan living space. There was a welcome hamper and a vase of flowers and our dog Syd was catered for too. He had treats, poo bags, bowls, a mat and a towel! The bedrooms were all spacious and had plenty of storage space.There was great attention to detail. We loved the toiletries in the bathroom, another extra we had not expected.Everywhere was immaculate and exceptionally clean. The hot tub was perfect and had a lovely view over the countryside. I would thoroughly recommend this property and would love to go back again.

We had a totally fabulous stay at Vine cottage.
It was presented beautifully with every care and attention to detail. The layout of the property was really great- tons of comfy seating and break out spaces for a large group, amazing huge table for meals and board games, a wonderful outside space + hot tub. Underfloor heating and the lovely fireplace made the property very cosy. Nothing was too much trouble. We all just loved it. We’d highly recommend.

An Amazing property, beautifully decorated, great spaces for all.
Very welcoming with a lovely welcoming hamper and Karen (host) and decorated it with balloons on my request for a big birthday. Kitchen very well stock and all details thought of. Hot tub is maintained daily and although the owners are just next door they are not intrusive at all. Would love to go back in the summer and be able to use the garden to its full capacity.

Karen couldn’t have been a more helpful and accommodating host who went above and beyond including offering to help with my flat tyre! The property was so beautiful inside and out and done to such a high standard it had everything we needed with plenty of space for us 7 girls.
