The general appearance, comfort and cleanliness of the annex is excellent.

The privacy afforded is also top notch as is the siting in a wonderfully quiet village with lovely walks in all directions. One or two maintenance slip ups could easily be rectified - the shower head bracket is upside down! Thus the shower head is insecure. The hand basin drain needs clearing out to enable it to drain quickly and, as another renter has commented, the external wooden window frames are in a poor state making future water ingress almost a certainty.

Booked an impromptu break to the Lakes, the Annex is in a lovely village and easy to explore this area.

Lovely river walk to Langwathby. The Annex was comfortable and had all we needed, some areas need attention, new garden furniture and loose paving slab could be dangerous.

The listing does not show what it looks like from the road.

Do not panic & do not worry about walking all the way up to the front door of the big house. You will get a e-mail with more details, read it before arrival to avoid worry when you think you can't find it. Once inside I was very happy with everything. Really nice place for me to work & unwind.
