What a gem!
It is a beautiful place to stay and very peaceful. The location is very handy for various places to visit like the Lake District and surrounding area.
Nowhere on Sykes description of the property does it mention it is set on a shooting estate.
I would not have booked this cottage if I had known this. Pheasants/Partridges all along a mile long country lane we had to avoid every time we ventured out.
A luxurious cottage with stylish interior decor and all the facilities for a comfortable stay.
Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. It would be helpful to have a bottle recycling bin.
