What can I say about this place!

Wow! It is absolutely stunning, beautifully built, appointed and finished and in a fabulous spot on Lake Coniston. We were there with some friends and it was nothing short of perfect in every aspect as was the communication and support from the owner. We would not hesitate to go back!

What an absolutely fantastic stay we had at Kolbeh.

Our 2nd year running the family got together to enjoy some time away in the Lakes. The house is absolutely stunning perfect for large families, extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. We couldn’t fault a single thing about this property. It’s a stone throw away from Contiston Lake and a short drive to the local supermarkets. We particularly enjoyed the addition of the BBQ area this year and already planning our trip back for next year because we can’t get enough of this beautiful home.

Ben was very responsive and helpful with a couple of queries.

The property exceeded our expectations and was the perfect base for what we wanted.

This place has the wow factor from the moment you walk in the front door and Ben has been the perfect host throughout our stay.

Kolbeh has the perfect mix of modern comfort without feeling too flashy and you're scared to sit on the furniture!

On arrival the place smells reassuringly clean, and on closer inspection is spotless - impressive considering all the muddy boot and paw prints that need to be removed after each visit! Beds are comfy, kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of hot water on demand. The surrounding gardens are lovely and perfect for short dog walks. The photos on the website are true reflection of the accommodation plus there is outside seating and a BBQ. We we're unlucky with the weather, but even on the wettest day we had a lovely relaxing time playing games and watching the wildlife from the warm comfort of the house. This is a peaceful, relaxing environment with all mod-cons and a helpful, friendly host in Ben. Oh and the bath is amazing!!!!

Wow!

This is a stunning house in a beautiful location. Everything was pretty much perfect for a family gathering. We loved the patio/terrace, the well equipped kitchen and the beautiful bedrooms and en suites. Plus we had amazing weather! Thankyou to Ben for being so helpful and he even rang us midweek with instructions on how to activate the air coolers!

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the holiday home.

The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The location was lovely and peaceful, and it really felt like a home away from home. Communication throughout was excellent, and everything was straightforward from start to finish. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and would happily recommend it to others. Kolbeh was the perfect place for our group.

The home is comfortable, well equipped and maintained and in the perfect location with easy access to Coniston (village and water), the South Lakes and walks from the door. Ben was a great host who communicated quickly and clearly and was available to help with any of our queries. Thank you for a great stay

This was the first time we have staid at Kolbeh.

The property was absolutely stunning and had everything we could have needed. We very much liked the welcome pack that the owner sent us, it was very interesting to see about the property and also all the info we needed even with walks shown and places to eat /shop etc.. it was very useful on your phones rather than in the house as it was always with us. The property was very comfortable, and very beautifully done. The first night we found that the lake was just 5 mins across the road, down a footpath, stunning scenery. The area around the property was so lovely with the sheep roaming about. We will definitely be visiting again as it was the most perfect location for many many walks.. we would very highly recommend this property and owner.

It was our second visit to Kolbeh, it's such a beautiful property, stunning inside and we loved how it was hidden away and so peaceful.

We will definitely be back soon. Kolbeh is a very special place

We had the best time!

The house was so perfect. I don’t think we ever stayed in a more beautiful house on vacation our dog loved it too.

Beautiful accommodation spotlessly clean lovely peaceful setting well equipped could not find fault, would highly recommend, would stay again.

One loo broke while we were there (had happened two weeks ago apparently).

The upstairs loo flush was very weak/worrying/afraid to use that loo! Otherwise it was a perfect retreat. We loved the set up and facilities. Well equipped. Very clean. Spacious and airy. Nice to have the underfloor heating and decent utility room for washing wet and muddy clothes. Never been asked to strip the bed before leaving a holiday let before but wasn’t a major drama. Would have appreciated some info on local walks. Hope to return and wish the owners all the very best with their lovely holiday venture.

Excellent property in a superb high spec.

Perfect size and well setup for a family get-away in the Lakes. House is very well equipped - we didn’t really need anything we brought as it’s so well stocked. A true treat and we will be booking again for next year.

Perfect amenities. Very comfortable and spacious. Just perfect! Excellent cleanliness! Fab location. Would highly recommend.
