What guests are saying
A beautiful house close to the village of Hawkshead, the pictures don’t do it justice.
We had plenty of space to relax as a group and the garden was great for the kids to play in - especially the zip wire. The views are lovely and it is a very peaceful location. We will be back.
Brilliant accommodation and beautiful surroundings!
We had a wonderful time with family - the kitchen / dining area is superb and close proximity to the Hawkhead village (quaint old town and recommend the Queens Head pub). 10/10 stay!
A beautiful house in a beautiful area.
You will automatically feel relaxed when you step through the door of The Grassings. The bedrooms are large, the beds are so comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We walked to Outgate Inn and The Queens Head on easy to find footpaths and had great meals. Although we didn't use it there's a lovely outside seating area with furniture and a large garden with a zip wire which we did use! I would highly recommend this property and would love to return.
