Description

Hazelrigg Cottage, an inviting, semi-detached property, is nestled on the outskirts of Newby Bridge, Cumbria.

Renovated to an excellent standard, this country escape is ideal for a family of four looking to getaway to this Cumbria region.

After a day of fell walking, kick off your boots and get the woodburner roaring before slumping on the sofa.

Tune into the Smart TV and watch a movie or move into the kitchen and start thinking about dinner, utilising a range of integrated appliances.

Serve up at the dining table or take the evening outside and catch the last of the sun from the bistro table and chairs.

As you plan for the next adventure, pop on the washing machine before washing away the day in the bathroom or shower room.

The bedrooms are furnished with king size beds and with one situated on each floor then the bathroom and shower room can become en-suites.

Venture into Newby Bridge and treat yourself to a pamper at the Swan Hotel and Spa; unwind with a soak in the hot tub or treat yourself to a glass of bubbly and enjoy stunning fellside views.

Stroll along the River Leven up to Windermere where you can catch a boat trip across the water, or why not try your hand at kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding?

Be sure to visit the bustling town of Bowness, home to a great array of attractions including The Old Laundry Theatre and the world-renowned World of Beatrix Potter Attraction.

Further afield, Ambleside and Hawskhead have lots to offer, whilst the mountainous Scafell Pike will appeal to those seeking a challenge.

Enjoy a jam-packed escape to the Lakelands at Hazelrigg Cottage.

Lovely cottage everything you require was available.

We would of liked a few additional basics like washing up liquid ,salt pepper and a few start up tea bags and sugar. Most other sykes do give you this and we visit multiple properties per year. Also most leave start up logs for fire .

We love this cottage, it’s our 2nd visit here.

Due to the bad storm the internet went down, the owner traveled to us with a back up internet supply which we thought was exceptional service. He even brought us extra firewood. Will be definitely coming again early next year. Great base for exploring the Lakes

We loved the cottage, especially the quiet location and the quality of the accommodation.

Two bathrooms were particularly welcome in a relatively small cottage. The only slight negative was the broken small gate which meant property was not fully enclosed as advertised (as dog could get under the main gate). Would definitely return.
