The bungalow was perfect location.
On a very quiet street.lovely and clean. Only issue was smell of wet dog in conservatory. We had a lovely stay.
I’m very sorry but there are no dogs allowed and the conservatory was cleaned and mopped In the three years of renting you are the first to comment of any bad smell in the bungalow and we have just done change over and I can assure you there was NO bad smell
This is a lovely property all in all.
Peaceful quiet location, nicely furnished and comfortably set out through out. Beautiful Conservatory. Takes about 15 minutes on foot to St Anne's via St Andrews Road. Washing machine was the only problem. Couldn't get the childproof lock off. It wouldn't start no matter what combination we tried on the instructions. Short, easy to follow instructions by Dave and Fiona would be great. Used the laundry suite on Wood Street in the end which was a bit of a disappointment as we had to wait around an hour and 20 mins for it to wash and dry. Other than that we would definitely book there again. Dave and Fiona left us a lovely welcome pack which we really appreciated. Thanks to Both for making our stay enjoyable, Paula & Cliff
What a great place for my elderly parents, they enjoyed the benefit of being in a bungalow and the wet room with stool was an added bonus.
They enjoyed eating breakfast in the conservatory and sitting outside after a day out and about. They also enjoyed an afternoon nap in the conservatory and on the reclining chair. It was a lovely break away from home and would love to come again.

Spent a lovely week in this property.
Very clean inside. Somethings could do with updating in particular bedroom furniture very dated compared with how modern everything else was. Wet room floor proved to be very slippy so had to use a shower mat and badly needs grab rails. Overall we had a nice week. Well placed for shopping and loads of places to eat nearby.
I’m sorry you did not enjoy the bungalow The furniture is the same as the photos on Sykes site and we like it as has shabby chic appeal As for the shower floor it is anti slip and fitted by professionals The non slip Matt you left was extremely slippy and had to be removed,we also leave a shower chair for your convenience which has handles either side Also on reading your comments in the guest book you mentioned one the guests had broken their arm just before arrival at the bungalow this would not help Once again we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay but the bungalow is as you see on Sykes site
Delightful accommodation suitable for all needs.
Clean,comfortable, bright airy and peaceful. Bathroom/shower however would benefit from a handrail in the shower. Possibly a few mirrors would be welcome too. Otherwise a great place to stay with driveway for private parking.

Clean cottage comfy beds excellent facilities. Very good local buses left the car on the drive. We'll be back.

We were very comfortable everything we needed and electrical easy to use, there was just one thing which I wrote in visitors book could do with a grab rail in the shower.
We would recommend good access to shops, beach etc

Would I want to stay there again?
? Most definitely. Pleasant and exceptionally quiet area only 15 mins from the coast. Property is clean comfortable and ideally situated for Lytham and St Anne’s and Blackpool. Thank you Dave & Fiona!

The bungalow was minimalistic , clean, beds comfortable.
Boiler needs looking at, as it was clicking on all the time but radiators not heating up. Was OK as a base for exploring surrounding areas The welcome pack had butter, jam, bread biscuits tea coffee sugar which was quite unexpected
I not sure how you come to the conclusion the bungalow is minimalistic It is fully furnished and fully equipped If you look at the photos on Sykes you will see it is well furnished If you could let me know why you think was only 75% clean it would be good for us to know I check the boiler every week and it is left on manual so you can adjust the temp to suit yourselves when checked it had been altered to auto with no settings added
Our week away was fantastic.
The bungalow was clean and the kitchen well equipped. The welcome pack was also a lovely touch. The only suggestion I would make is a bigger bed as wasn’t big enough. Apart from that a lovely stay. Would highly recommend and we shall be booking again very soon

The bungalow was lovely, had everything we needed, very nicely decorated, very clean.
Location was perfect, so quiet, we slept like babies. The welcome pack was such a fabulous touch and I’d brought wash up liquid, and other stuff to wash up, but didn’t need it. It was also great to find salt and pepper, which you always forget when going to a self catering home. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you

Bungalow was ideal for my 93 yr old mum.
Spacious and flat and shower room was ideal as flat but she found It a little slippy. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The welcome pack was an added bonus and the toiletries in the bathroom were a lovely idea in case you had forgotten anything. The post code appears to be incorrect. We discovered this by using Google maps to find out way home from our travels. Should it be FY8 1JS. The bungalow was central to everything. We visited the Victoria pub and Jason's chippy, both a 10 min walk away, passed late shop etc on the way. Bus stop near by for access to shopping centre etc.

As I stated in the guest book we had a wonderful stay, bungalow was lovely and clean and the welcome pack really appreciated.
Only downside side, could do with blackout blinds or curtains at bedroom windows, also a blind in bathroom. Toilet seat was wrong size for bowl which made it difficult for disabled in our party. Otherwise great visit

This is a lovely, clean and well kept house, with helpful owners who responded well to our queries and went the extra mile for us in preparing the house for our Christmas stay.
We so appreciated them providing an extra table so we could host Christmas dinner for family members. They had also added festive decorations and some extra kitchenware to help us make a Christmas dinner. We were most appreciative of all their extra planning and were impressed with the amazing and high quality welcome pack. The details describing the house are accurate, but the directions and map show the house on a different street. Sykes need to double check this. We highlighted this again to the Sykes helpline. We used Google maps, so this wasn't an issue for us, but from previous reviews this has confused people. The facilities are very good generally. We highlighted a couple of minor maintenance issues to the owners direct, around plumbing and the poor reception on the TV. The TV flickered and glitched a lot . We were not able to use the TV screen for other media, e.g. You tube or access iplayer. We enjoyed the social space in both sitting room and conservatory and found the bedrooms comfortable. Thank you again to the owners for their care and thoughtfulness.
main tv poor picture and sound, lost tv signal after a couple of days due to tripping of electrical breaker for outside socket needs curtains in some rooms for privacy
I understand your concern about the tv tripping and the Electrition is on site this week coming He did a compleat electric test and new board instillation last spring As it is an intermittent problem it’s difficult to trace but will be As for the TV we have not advertised it as a super tv and has a good picture and sound we know because we stayed there last weekend But it does not seem to meet every one’s criteria so it will be replaced also this week As for curtains we have vertical blinds on both front rooms so you have a certain amount privacy when you open them during the day and there is a roller blind in the back bedroom Now we would love to know what was unclean about the property as we pride ourselves in keeping it spotless so please tell us what was dirty we will rectify it We have been I touch with Sykes to correct the listing Im sorry if it spoilt your stay
My husband myself and my mother in-law had a great stay over the New Year despite the main front door lock not working -a bit worrisome!
but there was another door that locked which led into a very spacious living room the sofa and chairs were dated but 10/10 for comfort.The welcome pack was amazing and very much appreciated thank you. Beds and pillows really comfortable too. Bathroom mirror not for shorter people but the full length mirror on back of main bedroom door is a great idea maybe another mirror in the smaller bedroom would be a good idea too as my little mother in law was always in my bedroom bless her! The location is fantastic the Victoria Hotel is a short walk away for great food and drinks and the town is a few minutes drive away we would stay again
Thank you for your comments The furniture is 3 years old and was chosen because the high seats allowing ease of effort to stand for our older clients We leave the front porch open to allow guests the comfort of cover if they arrive in the rain and the porch light is on from 4 till ten The inner door is secured by a Chubb lock We take on board the idea of a second mirror.There is also a make up mirror in the main bedroom You gave us a 75% cleanliness could you tell us what was not clean as we take pride in the cleanliness of the property Thank you for your feed back Dave Fiona

We were delighted with our recent stay at this bungalow.
The property has everything you need for a relaxing stay at the seaside and it was spotlessly clean. The welcome pack was very much appreciated and a nice touch. The only thing that needs addressing is the very insecure toilet seat. However we found that the Sykes listing unfortunately has a few discrepancies. There is not an electric bed as stated and the postcode is incorrect and directs you to Warwick Road not Berwick Road plus the written directions make no sense whatsoever. We were so pleased with our overall stay that we booked another week as soon as we got home.
I’m so sorry for the toilet seat I admit I took my eye off the ball over that, let me assure it has been repaired As for the listing I shall talk to Sykes and have it all amended I hope non of it spoilt any of your stay Once again Fiona and I apologise Dave
The toilet seat is loose and needs tightening to make secure.
The outside space is full of invasive weeds especially Oxalis.
I’m sorry for the toilet seat I missed that but I can confirm it has been rectified As for the weed not being a gardener I thought they look quite nice and give a lot of ground cover Luckily with the outside being paved all around they are contained Now I know they are weeds we shall proceed to have them removed I do hope it did not spoil your stay with us Dave and Fiona

Beautiful bungalow.
Clean and comfortable with full facilities. Bit of a walk to nearest bus stop for people with mobility problems making it awkward to travel into Blackpool and beyond if you prefer not to take your car. Otherwise very enjoyable stay with immediate attention by owner regarding television/wifi problem.
Greeted on arrival, everything fresh, clean and tidy.
Welcome starter supplies were most appreciated. The bungalow was just what it had shown in the listing and had all we could need for a weeks stay. St. Annes and Lytham were nice and hassle free. A run through the Blackpool Lights and back was a highlight. Fairhaven Lake also lovely for a gentle walk round.

Clean and all necessary facilities were provided, property is approximately 1 mile from the centre of town and easily achieved on foot.
Parking at the property was no problem, this can be an issue with some property lettings in St. Anne's. We had an issue with the bed in the main bedroom, a little too small and with the bedding, plastic filling in the pillows and in the duvet. There are modern alternatives available at reasonable cost. Overall all not bad value for the money.

VERY CLEAN AND COSY BUNGALOW, WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED, FOR A HOLIDAY,LOVELY ELECTRIC CHAIR, GREAT 55INCH TELEVISION,AND WONDERFUL CONSERVATORY LEADING INTO BACK GARDEN ,AND GREAT WET ROOM, I COULDNT FAULT THE BUNGALOW IT WAS SO LOVELY TO STAY THERE, ALSO HAD A DRIVE FOR YOUR CAR WHICH WE FOUND HANDY

A very comfortable and clean bungalow.
We were unfortunate with the weather so were grateful for the central heating and the conservatory. The games provided also got used. The kitchen was well equipped and we did make some meals.

Peaceful and relaxing but so close to town. One or two wee problems that were immediately resolved by the lovely Fiona & David. Perfect property for me and my mum ( whose mobility is not great) so the wooden floors, wide doors etc were ideal. Will definitely be back.
I liked everything about this bungalow from decor to facilities.
The owners have provided all you'll need for comfortable stay in a quiet area not far from sea and town centre. I only used car twice in five nights as there are good bus routes nearby which link to trams. I fully recommend this holiday let and the area.
