4 Teal House

4 Teal House is a lovely, comfortable property in a wonderful location.

We were able to sit outside on the terrace every day, regardless of the weather and had several meals al fresco. It was most definitely a very relaxing holiday.

A fabulous house with everything you need for a lovely stay.

Immaculately clean and huge bedrooms with excellent quality bedding. Site kept perfectly clean including immaculate gardens. Only niggle would be motorway noise but didn't detract from us enjoying time on the balcony in the sunshine. Longlands Hotel at the entrance to the Marina serves great food with fantastic offers; also allows dogs in the bar and beer garden. Wouldn't hesitate in staying again.

The property is perfectly placed on the marina for a lovely relaxing view.

A short walk to the Longlands Hotel for a relaxing drink or good food. Super walks from the doorstep and short car rides away plenty to do for everyone from shopping, bird watching, National Trust… We go back again and again!

This holiday let had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay and was well kept and clean.

The bonus was being able to sit on the veranda with my morning coffee and look out over the marina. And access to an EV charger on site.

Teal house is a really lovely peaceful retreat.

Staying on a marina was a first for us but it will not be our last. The house was spotless and catered for all our needs. The owner actually turned up and bought us an extra fan as the weather was so hot, that was a lovely thought and very welcoming. Plenty of lovely food in the pub on sight and across the road at the bistro. Overall would give the property and location a 10 out of 10 and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Very dog friendly with lots of lovely walks. We will definitely return in the future

A very nice homely property with everything you might need for your stay there.

The house was clean and comfortable.

It was well equipped (apart from a lack of saucepan lids), and met our requirements in the kitchen. The bathroom and shower were also clean, but they were spoiled by the fact that the plug didn't work in either room, meaning a wet shave under a running tap every day. We slept well every night, and it was so quiet we were either woken up by the sun or an alarm clock! There was plenty of parking near to the property. The house was well placed for days out, such as to the Carlisle to Settle Railway at Ribbleshead, the Carnforth Railway with its 'Brief Encounter' exhibition (it was filmed there), and general day trips out to the Dales. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with a rude and unhelpful woman at Reception on our final morning. But it was still a very good holiday in a beautiful part of the world.

A lovely place and a great find , had a lovely week visiting the grandchildren who live quite close to the accommodation, a few small issues need addressing but nothing major, we will definitely be booking again in the near future

Our 2nd visit to the marina but our 1st stay at 4 Teal House.

Lovely clean and comfortable property, which is well resourced. We enjoyed the position of the house which gave us views down the marina. Handy to have a good pub so close and Arnside and Kirkby Lonsdale not too far away. Easy access to canal towpath for dog walks, inclement weather restricted how far we went this visit. Very scenic tho'. Ideal location for a post Christmas break and we hope to return.

Always an enjoyable place to stay. There was tea, coffee, milk & cleaning products provided on arrival for the first time, which was very much appreciated.

Apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Kitchen is well equipped. Location is beautiful, lovely walks along the canal tow path. Excellent for dog walking. Easy access to surrounding area if you are looking to explore, including the lake district. Plenty of fish in the canal basin if you are interested. I set up just outside the balcony and caught plenty of fish, mainly decent sized bream. Thoroughly enjoyable stay, we will be back

The property was perfect for our stay.

Clean, well appointed and very well located. Maybe consider a combined washer drier but not a major issue.

We found 4 Teal House to be an amazing place to stay.

The house was above all that we expected. Everthing we needed was to hand. Beds were super comfortable. Location to Lancashire/Cumbria and Yorkshire a great benefit. Had to contact emergency telephone number on final morning as some of our electric had stopped working. This was at 6AM. The staff member who answered was amazing. She was so friendly and helpful. We were sorted out in less than 2 minutes. What terrific service. Thank you. Highly recommend 4 Teal House. Can't praise it enough.

Great stay at Tewitfield.

Accommodation was clean and tidy with everything needed provided. Very limited cutlery and a couple of cracked glasses, aside it had everything required for a comfortable stay. Needs a bigger TV in the living room.

House was comfortable and we had a lovely stay but there could be a few improvements to improve the stay.

No hand towel in downstairs toilet. Some more cutlery, particularly teaspoons, would have been useful. Only 2 small glasses so had to use wine glasses for fruit juice. Double bed is very soft with little support. Not ideal for a person with a bad back. Dog bowls would have been useful.

We have visited the Marina on several occasions and have enjoyed and loved every minute, we have 2 dogs and to be able to take them with us on a break makes it complete, our accommodation was absolutely faultless from the facilities to the perfect view of the Marina.

If we could we’d be back tomorrow, our definite home from home!
