5 Old Laundry Mews

Fantastic location for access to both the Dales and the Lakes.

We found the flat spacious and comfortable with everything we needed - the cool fan was a very welcome feature and a life-saver in recent hot temperatures and we appreciated the capacious fridge and freezer. It was great to have instructions for all the equipment too. Road could be noisy in the mornings but earplugs helped.

Quiet mews location but early morning heavy goods traffic can be intrusive.

When originally booking the property the location that it gives you on the map is very misleading.

The link indicates it is located between the 2 rivers in a quite part of tge village when in fact it is located just off the main road and there is a lit of heavy traffic noise, especially early in the morning. The property itself was good and well equipped and the general location was great for getting out and exploring the surrounding area, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Good pubs and cafes in the village and small supermarkets with everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Old Laundry Mews and found the accommodation to be excellent.

It is well appointed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including thoughtful extras. The shower is fabulous too! The apartment is ideally located to explore the attractions in Ingleton and there are many beautiful places to visit a short distance away. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great top floor apartment.

... Great location for accessing the area... Warm and comfortable.. Unfortunately, the weather was not great, so we spent more time in the apartment than we had hoped, but it wasn't an issue as we were happy to spend time there. Thank you for allowing us to book at such short notice, after we were let down by a very disappointing cottage on another cottage website... Would happily book again if heading back to the area.

The apartment is cosy and ideally located for exploring the surrounding area.

The shower is among the best we've had in any apartment or cottage. The kitchen is very well equipped, but a bit more variety in cups and mugs would be welcome, especially smaller size than XXL. The mattress was the only item we found a bit less comfortable. The springs inside are too prominent, both to feel and to hear. But it didn't stop us from sleeping well. All in all a recommendable apartment!

Nice flat that’s very well equipped.

Close to lots of local walks. Sadly it rained every day but that was a minor problem. We could still find things to do. The pillows need replacing is our only criticism. It made sleeping a bit uncomfortable.

Well equipped and comfortable. Minor quibbles - chair in bedroom needed, had to sit on floor to dry hair. Bathroom floor edging needs cleaning and extraction fan dirty / dusty. Coffee machine filter mouldy so didn't use.

Had a lovely week’s stay in this modern, light and airy apartment which is very well equipped and spacious.

The sofa has been changed since the photos and was comfortable as was the bed. A great base for touring the area and within very easy walking distance to the village with shops, bars, bakery and excellent restaurants. Lots of guide books/ leaflets for local walks. Thank you for the box of chocolates and other provisions. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

Wonderful place, surprisingly roomy, well equipped, warm on a cold day and when it turned hot opening the windows on the top floor allowed a lovely breeze in.

Nice and quiet we slept well in the comfy bed. Max 5 mins walk to shop or bakery, 10 mins walk to village for pubs/shops/outdoor lido/waterfalls walk. Good wifi, designated off road parking, everything was brilliant.

A clean and modern property with all you need for a short stay with a reasonably quiet location which was not too far from the village centre etc.

Bright and airy apartment.

Great location. We had a super time. We were locked out once at another apartment user snibbed the main door in locked position. Fortunately we got someone in one of the apartments to come and open the door for us. Would be good if there were recycling facilities and if washing up liquid was provided.

Absolutely perfect accommodation, well maintained, high standard of appliances and very clean.

We had a lovely week exploring this beautiful area, and 5 Old Laundry Mews was the ideal base.

The flat was warm, comfortable, very clean and well cared for. Everything thing needed was provided, and every thing worked as it should. The designated parking space is a decent size, and easily accessed. We would have no hesitation using again this property if visiting this area in the future.

This was a very comfortable, quiet apartment well maintained and in an excellent position for exploring the Dales.

Ingleton is such a friendly community and with Seasons bakery around the corner and the Asda express close by shopping for essentials is easy. We had a delightful stay, thank you, our second visit. Very hard to find anything else needed but a couple of egg cups would be nice for boiled eggs for breakfast. Thank you again, we had a great holiday.

Clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped.

Great location for walking and village amenities. Bonus parking space which is always a plus. This is our third stay here , always an enjoyable week.

Very good enjoyed our stay maybe another small sofa or armchair but that’s just a small minor thing.

My fault but hadn't realised there were two flights of stairs not just one so was a bit of a struggle at times.

It was very comfortable and quiet. It is nice to stay in accommodation that is fully equipped. Nice welcome gift of milk and chocolates and of course a beautiful location with Ingleborough just behind.

We enjoyed our stay, but were disappointed that the couch wasn’t the one in the listing photos as it wasn’t as big.

Our only other suggestions would be a fan for the summer as the flat was very warm the week we were there and as someone else has also mentioned, a stool or chair in the bedroom would be nice. Other than that the flat was great, especially the kitchen, and is in a great location for exploring the area. We’d love to come back.

Loads of lovely works and places to see.

This was our second visit to Laundry Mews and the apartment was great.

My husband is from Ingleton and it is perfectly located in the centre of the village to visit family and friends, as well as near to village amenities. It is also convenient for walking in the Dales. The apartment is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. The only negative thing is there is no ability to recycle.

We found the property perfect for our short stay.

It was clean and well equipped. It was convenient for walks around the area. One small point, which did not impact our enjoyment, is that we were surprised there was no facility for recycling. We would definitely use again and would recommend it to others.

Our third visit, a slight hiccup with access initially which was due to previous occupants running off with the key, but owner sorted really quickly.

Really clean and tidy, not quite a 'fresh' as our first visit but it is obviously well used as a brilliant place to stay.

Supermarket, bakery and bus stop very close by. Excellent base for exploring the local area by car, by bus or on foot. So much to see and do!

We had a lovely week in the cottage.

It was very clean and comfortable with everything you need. If we had to be picky the only problem is when it is windy (which it was very windy on a few days) you cannot have the window open in the bedroom as the blinds rattle all night and as you are directly on a main road you need the blind pulled, and the flue vent to the cooker hood bangs. Apart from that there is nothing wrong with the apartment. The furnishings are good quality, the bed is really comfortable and the pillows are lovely, again good quality. The apartment is convenient for the village - about a ten minute walk. The Italian restaurant - La Tavernetta is a must but you need to book as it’s small but very popular. The other pub/restaurants are ok but a bit run down. We didn’t try the Three Horseshoes due to hearing bad reports from locals and reviews and whenever we passed it there was no one in there. The bakery about 5 minutes walk away is really nice but expensive - £4.05 for a French stick! There is a lot to do close by even in wet weather. We would stay again if back in the area.

Ingleton is a great location

Lovely modern and comfortable flat ideal for any couple wanting to explore the Yorkshire dales.

Would definitely stay here again. Although a small dressing table and chair in the bedroom would be useful for anyone wanting to dry their hair rather than having to stand or sit on the floor. Also a potato masher and egg cups would be useful in the kitchen. We really did enjoy our stay here but the flat was a little dusty and did have a few cobwebs.

Nice property.

Nicely decorated. Not far from the village, shops or nearest pub. The only thing I would say is who ever cleans wasn't thorough. There was a large dust ball under the bed, dust on top of the mirror in the bathroom and lampshades all over.

This apartment has everything provided for an enjoyable stay.

It is situated between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District making it an ideal centre to explore the area. It is quite warm being at the top of the building so maybe a fan would be a nice addition. The bed was very comfortable and I was pleased to see a non slip surface in the shower. We had a great week despite the weather being a little changeable.

The location is perfect for the village and it’s on a bus route which makes it excellent for exploring further afield.

This place was amazing, spotlessly clean, warm, excellent quality fixtures and fittings, just perfect for a peaceful break and the added bonus of a fabulous bakery just round the corner.

The apartment was modern, very comfortable and clean which made for a lovely weeks holiday.

The apartment was always warm to come in too thanks to the storage heating, and the kitchen had good quality appliances ( even a wine cooler). Only one very minor negative is that the pans could do to be replaced as they are beginning to show signs of wear.Lovely big shower and always plenty of hot water. Bed very comfortable and plenty of towels and bed linen. This is definitely a 5 star apartment in a lovely setting. Close to shops,pubs and plenty of walks from the apartment in and around Ingleton. Highly recommended and hope to return next year.

No complaints really but a few more up to date DVD's might be useful especially in Winter time. Would happily come back for a future stay.

Relaxed from the minute we got there. It's set on the edge of a lovely village, not what we expected. Look forward to returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 5 Old Laundry Mews, the extra touches, like having milk in the fridge and biscuits, were very welcome.

All the information we needed was explained very well including the key safe. The property was clean and bright, with plenty of space. Other things like the very comfortable bed, the coffee machine, the dishwasher etc made for a lovely relaxing break. We will most definitely choose to stay there again on our next visit to family.

It was a beautiful flat with great facilities and in a perfect location for us. We were extremely comfortable and made the most of our time in the Yorkshire Dales. The only problems that we had were that the tin opener provided was broken, and some slightly bigger saucepans would have been beneficial, as we enjoy cooking our own meals. Otherwise, we had a lovely break away and would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is well maintained very clean and very comfortable.

Welcome pack was a nice touch. Would certainly come back to the apartment. Location was perfect for all our needs.

The place is set in the wonderful place very close to all amenities, the only downside is it is next to a road and very noisy.

The apartment was as described and ok.

However this was spoiled by an hygiene issue, the hand towel left in the bathroom and the drying cloths in the kitchen had an overpowering odour, which smelled unclean. We had to put the bathroom towel in the store cupboard it was so strong. Ordinarily this would not have been nice but with covid it was even worse.

The apartment was lovely and was a great base for travelling everywhere.

Only complaint was cleanliness. Tea bags had been left in the tea pot, the waste bin was dirty and the bedroom was dusty, but this wouldn't put me off going again. The biggest problem was the heat, it was like being in a sauna at night and we could have done with some fans.

Lovely little apartment just 5-10 mins walk from village with a nice selection of pubs and places to eat.

And close to lots of beautiful places to walk. My wife and I loved it! We'll be back!

Have used Coast & Country/Sykes numerous times, and never been disappointed with quality of accommodation offered.

This apartment is a 5 minute walk from village centre and/or waterfalls walk, so handy for all the local attractions and hostelries - secure private parking also - recommended at the price.

A great holiday here at 5 Old Laundry Mews, parking outside, welcomed with some milk and cookies saving us a trip to the shops.

A great place to use as a base and enjoy Ingleton and surrounding areas. Can’t wait to visit again in the future :’)

Well worth paying to do the Ingleton water falls trail, although quite strenuous in places.

Excellrnt situation for exploring the dales and north east

The flat suited my requirements very well.

I was on a walking holiday and when some of the expeditions can be completed without having to drive it is always appreciated. Pubs and shops in the village were about half a mile away but the Seasons bakery was very handy, just around the corner, and the Co-op on the main road convenient. Although the TV reception was poor and the signal was sometimes lost, the wifi was excellent so I could watch on my laptop if I wanted to.

Complimentary biscuits and milk on arrival. A well stocked kitchen with modern appliances and instruction manuals. No hot water early evenings, not sure why but if out for the day and back late unable to shower. Apart from that all good.
