Great cosy property.
All amenities Inc dishwasher and kitchen items. Finding it in dark was a little tricky but overall we enjoyed our stay. Local staff contact was very helpful. Great location.
The house was amazing, kitchen had everything you needed.
The rooms were a lot larger than expected, so plenty of space. Beds were comfy. Even with two large vehicles (van and a saloon car) we managed to park in the space provided and still leave space for other cars to get past. Brilliant location to all amenities that we required.
Good location for the town facilities and exploring the area.
There are plenty of walks easily accessible from the house, with park areas for walking the dogs. Comfortable and spacious rooms, with kitchen well stocked with equipment and utensils. Plenty of games and books available, with some leaflets of the local area which we added to. Good sized bedrooms and beds, and a handy stair gate to stop the dogs from going upstairs. I was a little worried about the parking after reading some reviews, however we managed to park an estate and a normal car in the space provided so managed fine. On the one day where a work van parked in the parking spot for most of the day, we found one of the neighbouring properties very helpfully let us use a space in the meantime. If you have dogs, be aware there is no enclosed garden and other properties are accessed through the parking area (not a problem with our dogs thankfully). There does seem to be a local dog which does it’s business in the yard on a regular basis which explained the “please clean up after your dogs” sign which is obviously ignored by the dog owner. On arrival, I was a little surprised to find a dirty dish in the dishwasher and the Dyson hoover obviously needed emptying. The cleaner did kindly put the bin out for us on the Thursday evening. Overall a good base for exploring the Lakes.
