Description
Nestled along Clifton Drive, 6B Gardener’s Cottage offers a tranquil yet well-connected base in the heart of Lytham St Annes.
Just a ten-minute stroll from the centre of Lytham, you’ll find yourself within easy reach of its bustling high street, filled with independent shops, welcoming cafés, restaurants and stylish boutiques.
Enjoy brunch at one of the town’s popular coffee houses, browse the artisan stores, or relax over dinner in one of the many local bistros.
Lytham is famed for its lively calendar of annual events, including the Lytham Festival in July, the Classic Car Show, and the much-loved 1940s Wartime Weekend.
Throughout the year, nearby Lytham Hall and Lowther Pavilion and Park host an exciting mix of concerts, theatre, open-air cinema and family activities – all just a short walk or drive away.
For those who love the outdoors, Granny’s Bay, Fairhaven Lake and the iconic Lytham Green are close by, perfect for morning strolls, dog walks or peaceful evening sunsets.
The area is ideal for couples and pet owners seeking a relaxing coastal getaway with everything close at hand.
Originally the gardener’s cottage for the grand manor houses that once graced Lytham’s seafront, this beautiful home has been thoughtfully restored and fully renovated in 2025 to create a warm, welcoming retreat.
Set over two floors, it has been restored within keeping, with shades of green carefully chosen to reflect the home’s history and name.
The inviting dining kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, coffee machine, slimline dishwasher and even an air fryer, while a realistic gas-effect stove adds warmth and character.
The sitting room provides a cosy space to unwind with a Smart TV and comfortable seating after a day exploring the coast.
Upstairs, two spacious king-size bedrooms ensure a restful night’s sleep, served by a modern bathroom with bath, shower over, heated towel rail and WC.
A convenient ground-floor cloakroom adds extra practicality.
Step outside to discover the walled private garden, a genuine sun trap that’s perfect for morning coffee, lazy afternoons or a glass of wine in the evening.
It’s a peaceful, enclosed space ideal for relaxing with your dog or simply soaking up the sunshine.
Roadside parking is available close by, and the cottage’s location makes it easy to explore Lytham’s beautiful coastal paths, the leafy trails around Fairhaven Lake, and the scenic walks that stretch along the Fylde Coast.
Whether you’re planning gentle walks, attending one of Lytham’s popular events, or simply taking time to unwind by the sea, 6B Gardener’s Cottage offers the perfect blend of history, comfort and location.

What guests are saying
We have tried numerous properties in Lytham and St Anne's but Gardeners Cottage must be the best yet.
The comments from previous guests are highly complimentary and it's easy to see why. The cottage is deceptively spacious, extremely comfortable and welcoming, and in a perfect location to access all the delights of this beautiful area. We will definitely be returning and feel so happy that we have found this perfect gem.
Absolutely perfect accommodation, the best we have stayed in by far.
Even the dogs were made welcome with doggy blankets so they could cuddle with us on the sofa. Spotlessly clean too. We will definitely be returning to Gardener's Cottage for another relaxing break.
We found the cottage absolutely 5* standard we couldn't fault the cottage at all.
Our disappointment was the noise from the traffic it was like sleeping next to the M6. I would like to mention to anyone wishing to book the cottage please take photos in the cottage and the garden when you depart as this will help your case when you are accused of damaging anything in or out the cottage. We was accused of damaging a vine tree and going to be charged £250. We never got to go outside due to wind & rain. It's sorted now but just want to advice you to be careful as I don't want anyone going through the stress of being accused of damage the same day you get back home.
