We had a wonderful week in Westholme.

The cottage is well located for lovely walks and bike rides in the surrounding countryside, and it had everything we needed for our stay. The weather had turned cold, so we enjoyed a few cozy nights in front of the fire, and most days a relaxing sit in the hot tub looking at the great views, after a exhilarating day out. There are lots of pamphlets and information about the local area if you need inspiration. But we can recommend a visit to Hannah's house next to Blackton Reservoir, and a trip over to Hamsterley Forest. The cottage was a home from home, very comfortable and clean, and some lovely little touches. We can also recommend The Fox & Hounds in Cotterstone for a hearty meal out (& gluten-free beer if you need it!). Would definitely holiday here again - many thanks!

A warm and very comfortable cottage.

Beautifully furnished and maintained in a homely and unpretentious manner. It is surrounded by magnificent countryside with many choices of things to d and places to find great food and hospitality.

Westholme is a beautifully appointed cottage, spotlessly clean and comfortable; especially the beds.

There are lovely views from the cottage which can be enjoyed while relaxing in the hot tub. There are plenty of walks and historic sites nearby, also Beamish is a great day out.
