What guests are saying
Great property, our second stay here.
The location can't be beaten for ease of walking around Ambleside and the surrounding areas. The parking permit was appreciated, we generally managed to get parked on the road near the property. We did find quite a few light bulbs were out throughout the property - games room, spot lights in kitchen and in the top bedroom. The top bedroom was also quite chilly compared to the rest of the house which we didn't notice last time and was possibly due to the change in weather/seasons. Very nice to see the changes from last time, good to stay somewhere that is refreshed by the owners. We look forward to our next stay!
Lovely cottage and do close to everything Ambleside has to offer, whilst still quiet.
Parking on the street was fine. Warm and cosy.
There is a parking disc but no permit for the car park so we had to pay every day which is quite expensive for 4 days.
