We had such a lovely stay at Middlefell View cottage!

The cottage was lovely and clean and super comfortable. There was a fab welcome basket when we arrived with home cooked bread, cake and jam which was much appreciated. The owners were lovely and helpful. It's a beautiful, peaceful place and we had a fab week exploring the local surroundings and taking in the beautiful scenery. Would definitely return :)

We had a lovely stay here in July, the owners and their dogs are delightful.

The house is lovely and spacious and the views are beautiful. I especially want to thank them for sending our sons clothes back to us after we forgot to check his drawers before leaving. I recommend this cottage to everyone. We loved our stay, the welcome pack was gorgeous.

It was a lovely tidy cottage and we were very comfortable there.

There was lots of things in the kitchen for us to use, all very nice. We liked the way the sitting room and dining room and kitchen was a big open area and the way part of the sitting room went up to the full height of the cottage with a gallery to the passage between the upstairs bedrooms above. We cooked all our meals at the cottage eating inside and in the garden with a lovely view of the valley, fields and hills. Alston was only 5 minutes drive down the road and we did all our shopping there and enjoying the local cafes.

We had a very relaxing week in Middlefell View.

The cottage is comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything you might need and set in beautiful countryside. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. Alston is an excellent base with so many places within about 40 minutes away.

We had excellent communication from the hosts prior to our stay and on arrival had a lovely welcome from Melanie and received a very tasty Welcome Pack, thank you the cake was delicious.

The house had a lovely cosy feel and was well stocked and thoughtfully equipped with everything for a comfortable stay.

Cottage was beyond our expectation.

Such a lovely welcome pack, fresh bread, scones, milk , butter and delicious homemade gooseberry jam.

The cottage was warm and the logburner was made up ready for lighting.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage with peaceful surroundings.

There’s a lovely river walk into Alston straight from the door and the Lake District is within easy reach by car. The cottage is well equipped, clean and very cosy. The home baked welcome pack was a delight and the owners were great hosts without being intrusive. Thanks for a great stay and we hope to return in the future.

had everything needed for a fantastic 40th birthday getaway.our stay was a few days away from christmas and woke up to snow on one morning.Great size bedrooms with Everything you would ever need in the kitchen. Underfloor heating that the dogs loved.Even had towels provided to clean the dogs. Will definitely stay again.
