Constructed in 1860, it preserves numerous original characteristics, including high ceilings and beautiful sash windows, making Mullans an outstanding representation of Victorian architecture.
With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it is well-suited for both families and friends.
The front lawn is a private haven, leading to the front door via a charming pathway.
Beside the house, a driveway with tandem parking for two cars and a convenient turning circle awaits.
Upon entry, the property's high ceilings and classic staircase impart a sense of elegance to the entrance hall.
To the right, the lounge beckons with its leather sofas, armchair, stylish fireplace, and wall-mounted smart TV, all illuminated by the distinctive leaded sash windows.
Further down the hall, the kitchen doors reveal shaker-style cabinetry and inviting country farmhouse chairs, ideal for culinary activities and gatherings.
The kitchen extends to the outdoors through French doors, opening to a garden that basks in sunlight.
The kitchen boasts an electric oven, a separate grill, an induction hob, and a Ninja air fryer, complemented by ample refrigeration in the utility room.
The snug, adjacent to the kitchen, offers a peaceful retreat with its relaxing sofa.

Mullans is a lovely period property within walking distance of Southport centre.
It was one of the best presented properties we have ever stayed in. Absolutely spotless inside and a lovely garden to the rear which is completely dog safe. The house is short of nothing, you have everything you need. The kitchen and bathrooms are super modern and so well kept. The rest of the house is traditional, in-keeping with its era. There are quality fixtures and fittings throughout the house including comfy beds with gorgeous linens. The owners have paid great attention to everything within the house and are are really lovely people, taking the time to meet you on arrival and show you around. And finally thanks so much for the welcome goodies; this was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Thanks for everything!
We had a lovely stay at Mullans.
The house was clean and well equipped, there was even a washing line which is rare in holiday accommodation ! The thoughtful and generous welcome pack was gratefully received. The house is perfectly placed to walk in to the town centre and close to Hesketh park where we walked our dogs. Ainsdale and Formby beaches are close by and we had a day in Liverpool - which was only an hours drive. An all round good experience.
Southport is one of our favourite places to visit and staying at Mullans only made it better!
David and Irene were great hosts, they showed us around when we arrived, suggested local places to go and were available if we needed anything during our stay. The house itself is beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay, there was also some history of the house and it's occupants provided which was very interesting! We've already booked for next year, so see you then xx
