What guests are saying
We have stayed a few times at Rowan cottage, it’s like home from home.
Great location, lovely and quiet and lovely view. Thanks for having us and looking forward to visiting again.
What a lovely place to stay!
Amazing views and unspoilt local scenery. Comfy beds & we were particularly glad of the second loo. Another time we might well use the adjacent station for relaxed travel. Trains are quiet and fun to watch! We never found the property instructions till the last day...folder looked like tourist info....so, unfortunately we missed bin day....sorry!
I love this property, great location, ideal set up with having 3 bedrooms, stayed many times.
This time we had a few issues, first being when we arrived we struggled with the keysafe, it was very stiff to open must have taken us 20 minutes, we have not had any problems with our previous visits, secondly the garden was badly overgrown with weeds so was not pleasant sitting out, to the point where I had to cut some weeds back so we could use the bench. And lastly the toilet seat upstairs needs tightening. These are minor problems easily fixable, so hope when we return (which we will) they have been resolved.
