What guests are saying
Lovely property, very convenient for Windermere area.
It was handy that all three bedrooms have their own ensuite. It was lacking a little in kitchen utensils if you wanted to properly self-cater. There were some odd little items missing like hand soap in the bathrooms and only one toilet roll in each room, but otherwise clean tidy. It was particularly hot when we were there, so a fan or two would have helped. The door closers could do with adjusting - a couple of the doors slammed loudly if not stopped. Parking was a bit of a free-for-all, although there is plenty of space. The property is down a long, single track road with a hair-pin turn as you get near. This is not a problem, but may put some drivers off.
WiFi only worked in one room.
Beds not very comfortable. Furniture seating seems very tired and worn. Didn’t see any mention of there being other people adjoining and shared patio, when booking. No welcome pack here, all our previous properties have had welcome pack. Cobwebs. No salt and pepper etc. Pans are no longer non-stick. After booking with Sykes for many years and many properties, this was not up to our normal standards.
We didnt realise whenwe booked that we didnt have the whole of the property it wasnt made clear we had neighbours all around and maybe wouldnt have booked had we known but there were great views everywhere which we really appreciated.
We had a few minor queries when we arrived but the owner popped in and we mentioned them and they were sorted instantly which was very impressive. All in all though a great holiday let.
